These people are sloppy, messy, UN-​organized, rude and very unprofessional!!!
That’s just the field personal, the people in the office are even worse!
Sorry, but I just can’t find anything good to say about this company even when I try.
If you want quality workmanship and friendly service, Call Somewhere Else!!!

Infuriating service team.
Called them with a simple question regarding the gate code, and throughout the whole conversation the rep acted as if I owed her something. I maintained neutrality throughout the whole conversation, and when I decided that this life-​draining conversation wasn’t worth the trouble I politely said that I will look for help elsewhere. Somehow, the rep took that as an affront.
I sincerely hope that I just caught them on a bad day. Needless to say, I will be avoiding them in the future as long as humanly possible.

Very poor service. Avoid Business.

I would not recommend this company to anyone who wants to smooth process. Each step of the way, even from the first appointment (they were a no show) they promised dates and didn’t deliver. At least they were nice about it. It got to the point that you expected to be disappointed.
I will be fair in saying the gate looks pretty good, quite dinged up, paint sratched, install date extra late; but at least when it was installed I find the quality to be good. I hope the automation works because I can’t imagine going through the communication of getting it repaired. With some better management or accountability this could be a good company.

if you’re looking for a company who will schedule you for an appointment, make you wait for over three hours, and then when you call, simply tell you that «you must be one of the appointments we aren’t going to make today because we found out this morning that one of our trucks was down.» but no, they won’t actually bother to call you in advance to let you know there is an issue… nor will they make any extra effort to get someone out to see you since they never bothered to cancel your appointment. so yeah, if you like to waste time and deal with a totally unprofessional business, then house of automation is for you.

I was referred to the House of Automation by the HOA of the complex I live at. I called at the end of day on a Thursday to order 2 replacement remotes for the front gate. I was told the remotes would be programmed and shipped the next day. I got a call the following Tuesday and was told the remotes had not shipped yet because they didn’t ask what style I wanted. I told them the style and the woman I spoke with said she would send them out. I received the remotes the next day and they didn’t work. The LED would light when the button was pressed but the gate wouldn’t open. I called and was told that the switches that set the code might have been entered backwards and I should open the remotes and set the switches to the opposite setting. I paid for programmed remotes and now I have to program them myself? Not good.
I have since searched online for the remotes they sent me and have found them for less than half the price of what House of Automation charges before shipping. Had I known the code to program for the gate I certainly would have ordered the remotes elsewhere and paid a LOT less.
