This was the second time coming here and I was absolutely broke, I was upfront and honest about my situation and asked them to just give me a straight forward answer on what was wrong. Not only were they super helpful but at no point and time did I feel like they were taking advantage of me. The kindness, generosity and professionalism exhibited by this company was the best I have come across in this business, thanks for your guy’s help.

Checked all the reviews before deciding to call and set up an appointment to have my car evaluated for an alignment and new tires. Carlo was great, fixed what i came in for and reccomended some other work that i couldn’t afford at the moment but there was no high pressure and he didn’t try to make me feel bad. Most girls usually have someone to guide them when it comes to car issues (husband, father, brother, etc.). Then, there are some of us that rely solely on the guidance of a trustworthy mechanic.
My car had never failed a smog before. Needless to say, I wasn’t exactly prepared for what to do next. After getting the runaround from the DMV, I was advised to just fix the issue so I could get my registration sorted out. After asking some of my coworkers if they knew of a good mechanic, I quickly realized that I was going to have to search for one myself when their response was, «I know a guy, that knows a guy, that knows a guy…». Not really the answer I was hoping for.
I did a quick search on Unilocal and In-​Line Auto Repair had an overwhelming amount of 5 star reviews compared to the other auto repair shops in the area. I have a crazy work schedule and I’ll admit, I don’t always have the time to call around to different places asking for quotes. I was pressed for time, went with my gut and decided to give them a call.
Immediately, I was impressed with Carlo. I felt 100% comfortable with him and not once did he give me the «little lady» spiel. Not only is he professional, but EXTREMELY patient and thorough. After inspecting the car and fixing the issues that my car had, it finally passed smog. Carlo was nice enough to call me throughout the time that my car was in his care to update me on everything. He even called me on a Monday morning to see if my car was behaving properly.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. I am so grateful to Carlo for everything that he has done for me. This could have easily been a stressful situation and he made me feel at ease, which you can’t put a price on. He has a loyal customer for life.

I took my truck to In-​Line to get an alignment after taking it to another local shop and being quoted a very high price. Carlo was straight forward and honest with me and said that the repairs the other shop told me I needed were in fact not necessary to properly align the truck. Quick, friendly and honest. Carlo was very helpful, explaining exactly what was wrong with the alignment and tires. Unfortunately, I needed new tires because they were in bad shape, but he gave me a great deal. I barely had time to read my book because they were done so quickly. Definitely worth the drive.

Carlo and the guys at In-​Line have done an amazing job on our Expedition over the last year. We had a full blown transmission rebuild done here, coil replacement, allignment and the occasional oil change. Their service is reliable and quick, and more importantly honest and affordable. I’m an accountant… so the furthest thing from a mechanic. I have an old car that I admittedly don’t service as often as I should. For those reasons, I am easy to take advantage of. However, from the moment I stepped into In-​Line auto, Carlo was there to take care of me and my interests. Not his own.
Carlo treated me with dignity and respect. He was upfront and took his time to explain what was causing my problems. As he listed the laundry list of must do now items I wanted to cut him off, but then he said the price and I was amazed. I asked him how long it would take and he said he could have it done by the end of the day, but didn’t want to «mickey mouse it», so I could expect it tomorrow afternoon. The next morning he called and updated me on the status of my car, and sure enough it was ready when he said it would be.
I rode my bike to get my car and he said «call me next time I will come get you». Ladies and Gentleman tell me another shop owner who would go out of their way like that! He told me everything he had done. Made his suggestions for my next repairs and told me come see him every few weeks before I go to the office so he can check up on the car. Again… Ladies and Gentleman tell me another shop owner who would go out of their way like that!
I was ready to pay him just as soon as he finished talking, but no. Carlo took the time to ask about me, and my interests first. Money is not Carlos bottom line. People are his bottom line and serving his customers is always first and foremost for him. I’ll never take my business elsewhere. Thank you so much Carlo!!!

I should start off by saying that I never felt the need to create a Unilocal account up until my recent experience with Carlos (the fantastic owner). My car has multiple issues going on that needed immediate servicing and he took care of it in less than 24 hours. Not only did he make me feel like it was going to be a pleasant experience but he stayed in touch with me to go over what needs immediate servicing and what could wait just in case it posed a hardship for me to get it done all at once. All in all, having car troubles is the last thing anyone wants to deal with and it really made me feel so much more at ease once we went over everything. I HIGHLY recommend this shop for all of your car servicing needs, I know I will never step foot anywhere else going forward.

Decided last minute to get an oil change before I drove out of town and Carlo was super friendly and got me in right before lunch time. They were quick and efficient. Amazing! He was very informative and pointed out some things on my car I knew would need work on down the road and gave me a very fair price. He didn’t push me to get extra work done, but just informed me of what I need to be mindful of for my car. That’s what I like! Will definitely be returning for future car repairs. They’re honest and friendly and knowledgeable.

So far, this place has been the most honest in prices, car needs for current and future. Also no pressure in getting service done at time of recommendation.
Plus side is that I didn’t have to wait too long to get a simple oil change.
Parking is limited but they’ve always fit me in the schedule even if I walk in last minute. :)

Been coming here and taking all my cars here for a while now. Carlo and his mechanic is very knowledgeable and friendly. I definitely recommend this place to bring your car for alignments and tires. They even align LOWERED cars which is pretty hard to find nowadays besides Clarence Brown which is a lot more expensive. I suggest you make an appointment first. My alignment only took about 30 minutes.

I was calling around Friday morning trying to find a shop to get an alignment done for a reasonable price. After reading some of the reviews, and after my experience. I’m glad to say I made the right choice.
The customer service was 5 stars all the way, and honest as well. I forgot the persons name that helped me, but he was even able to give me a real good deal on a set of 2 new tires that I really needed for my 2 rear rims. After it was all said and done I left with two new rear tires, a well done alignment, and best of all I didn’t break the bank.

Visited on 2÷16÷15 2pm
Been going in circles with our insurance company and dealership about damage caused by a t-​bone collision. It knocked alignment way off and completely threw off camber in rear driver side. Tire wear is absolutely crazy. I talked to a few different people and Carlo and In Line alignment came up. I checked the Unilocal reviews and called. He got me in same day and looked at car and gave HONEST advice. That’s a bonus seeing I’m getting the run around by dealer and insurance company.
They fixed the front alignment and gave me an estimate for the rear tire. I really liked how he was very up front and honest and explained my options.
You sir have just earned the business of my family.
I will refer anyone that needs alignment work done to your shop. I highly recommend you call this guy 1st!!!
Did I mention the price was the cheapest in SD county. Quality and value. That’s hard to find now. Glad I found this place.
