Inspire Charter Schools offers Home/Independent Study to all K-12th grade students in Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, Imperial, and Kern Counties. Students can attend virtually from the safety and comfort of their own home. For the high school curriculum, our great teachers lead students through the APEX Learning courses. APEX courses are fully A-G accredited. The Transitional Kindergarten online curriculum is provided through Embark12. The comprehensive K-8th Grade curriculum through K12 using a blended online-offline model.
Our curriculum is aligned to the Common Core State Standards to ensure that all students are prepared for college, career readiness, and the challenges of the 21st Century.
History
Established in 2014.
Inspire Charter Schools was established in 2014 to provide a high standard of education to students, through comprehensive curriculum; supported by energetic, dynamic, and caring teachers.
This mission will be accomplished through a virtual curriculum model that emphasizes meeting individual students’ needs for mastering the California Common Core State Standards and California Contents Standards for their grade level.
Meet the Manager
Diane B.
Manager
Mrs. Beran attended the University of La Verne where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Diversified Studies and Master’s degree in Education as well as her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Diane has been an educator for 15 years starting as a Middle School teacher serving students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. She then moved on to virtual education where she found her passion in teaching students in grades K-8. She was an Assistant Principal for the California Virtual Academies and also served in the role as Family and Community Support Coordinator as well as a Learning Center Site Coordinator. Mrs. Beran believes that online learning is an innovative way to reach students of all backgrounds. She is very excited to be a part of the Inspire Charter Schools staff and to be leading teachers and the school.
