Wow what a great place! From the moment I walked in until I left, everyone was very friendly. My nails where done perfectly! Just how I like them. They took the time (no rushing) to make sure I was happy with my nails. Anything that didn’t look right, was corrected without me even having to ask. I LOVED THAT!!! This will be my new nail salon. Thank you ladies for having such wonderful customer service!

Super amazing! I will be coming back. Maria and Rosa are the bomb, totally hooked us up with a cute yet, inexpensive full set. Worth the drive and money for sure. They have perfect shape and tons of designs and nail colors to choose from. High quality nail polish, majority of them coming from OPI. My first time was the best experience.

Rosa is the best! I never leave disappointed if there’s something I don’t like she will fix it right away! So nice and so welcoming! I love this place and won’t stop coming thanks Rosa, you’re amazing!

Every time I come here I’m greeted as if I’m family ! It’s so amazing to actually have a great conversation while I get my nails done. I don’t have to supervise her as she does my nails I just watch as the perfection takes place. I recommend Rosa!!! She will have your nails looking awesome

Very cute family salon. The ladies there were nice and generous and we laughed a lot about random things. My nails were done exactly how I like them and they are very strong compared to other shops I’ve been to. Affordable and quality work.

I work at a cosmetics store in parkway plaza and me and a few of my co-​workers found out about this place from a friend. At first glance it looks like a rinky-​dink shop, smaller and not too fancy but I personally like that because it means less traffic and wait time. Upon meeting the ladies that work there I found out it was a family owned shop and the customer service there is amazing! They’re all so nice and welcoming and the prices are super affordable! Christy does the best stiletto nails as well! They’ll try any type of design or art for you, I highly recommend supporting a local family business and giving them a try! :)

This place in my opinion is awesome. I come here to get my eyebrows done and I don’t leave the place all red and blotchy from wax being ripped off my face. My sister came for French manicure and pedicure and loved it. Her French tips were very well done, no bumps or uneven. Nice ladies and good services

I really wanted to like this place based on how very nice and genuine everyone seemed but, based off the actual work done it was ridiculously horrible.
I actually live in OB, but I had some business in El Cajon that gave me a few hours between meetings. And since my usual lady was off on Wednesday (and this took place on Wednesday, August 26^th) and that was the only day I had available to get my nails done I decided to go to Maria’s.
I did have to wait 10 minutes before I spoke up asking how much longer, again since I was slightly crunched on time and was told another 5 minutes. Of course, this was more like 10. (Side note: there was a lady that came in and was never given an estimated time before she could be seen. She ended up waiting about 35 minutes before getting up and leaving. This was after they sat someone before her due to a few chipped nails. Maybe chipped nails are a reoccurrence here???)
Again, everyone was very nice. But, when it came to being almost done I had two nails I felt had the potential to snag quickly. I mentioned this and the technician ‘fixed’ it, but I still didn’t feel secure. She reassured me it was fine. I figured she knew best and went on my way. Mistake.
Not even 5 hours later I had a nail chip and within the first 24 hours I had 4 nails chip. By Friday, almost all my nails had chipped or snagged in some way. I did call to let them know and they told me to come back in and they would fix at no charge. My issue with this is it is a 30 minute drive one-​way. Again, I really didn’t have that kind of time. Whomever answered the phone was obviously my technician as she said she remembered me and even admitted that it was her first time doing Shellac/​gel! What a disappointment!
I ended up squeezing in time I didn’t have to go to my usual lady, Jesse at Le Nails in MV, to do my nails completely over… So not only did I lose double the money, but also lost double the time.

I randomly walked in to this nail shop because I was in the area and I was in need to get my nails done. I was greeted right away by CHRISTINE. She was super nice took her time doing my nails. I loved that i was able to actually relax and not feel like im being rushed. Her mom was also super nice, she did my pedicure! All and all I loved how my mani and pedi turned out and i will definitly go back!!!

This is a wonderful family owned business that NEVER takes time off. Christine, Mai and Rosa all work so hard and do a great job. The service is excellent and they strive for their customer to have a great experience. It is very affordable too!

This nail salon is almost easy to miss, but with directions very easy to find. The ladies are great and their attitude increases their service. I thought they did just ok, but I’m willing to give it another shot because of the energy.

A wonderful family owned business. Their spa pedicures are wonderful and it’s a relaxing environment. Such soft spoken people who offer every service you’d hope for. They did such a great job creating a fun summer look. I will be returning.

Decided to try this nail salon since its so close to my house. The ladies are so nice and do their best to make your nails exactly the way they want them! They have such a good selection of nail color like OPI and Essie! I’m obsessed and definitely won’t be letting anyone else touch my nails :)

This place is really cool. Great service. You get a hi when you walk though the door, not «what do you need». The service is great, the place is very clean and you’re getting everything for a great price. Christine is really good and I recommend her for just about anything. You don’t really need to make an appointment but call before you come and make sure they’re not busy. I’ll be coming back :)

I, literally, just got home from this place and am completely amazed at HOW this place got 5 STARS from every single person who has been there! I asked for a shellac fill. should take about 30 – 45 miutes MAX… 2 hours later…
I will give it to you that, that one girl who works there is super nice! She made some small talk and smiled a lot and thats nice– but thats not wait I paid for.
I walk in and I am asked to immediately sit at one of the two tables; someone will be out in 5 minutes… 20 minutes later, the girl that was on her phone in the corner comes over and starts clipping my nails off– at an awkward angle might I add. So much so– part of my gel nail cracked off on two different fingers…
Being swapped back and forth, for 2 hours, between two girls, having my nails cut too short (i asked for at the skin, you can now see the tips of my fingers over them), continually getting the gel rubbed off when they thought they were taking it off my skin, and one of them using SUPER GLUE after i pointed out that she didnt put enough gel to cover my nail (a significant amount); its safe to say that I WILL NEVER GO BACK to this place! I pay close to the same at SPA & CO at Grossmont with slightly better service but a way better turn out on my nails. Also while this is all happening, two of the women there are passed out in the corner… super professional!
Let me also point out that a pretty little teenage girl came in with her mom as her gift for her first time, and got as far as getting the french plastic white tips glued on before that nice girl, i mentioned, picked up her LV covered iphone and left for about 15 minutes… I paid up and walked out and she still wasnt back from her call and the girl was still nervously sitting there by herself…
Thanks for being nice, but your smile doesnt make up for 30 $ fill I paid for!

This place is awesome! It’s small and the girls are personal with their clients. They take their time, which means there might be a little wait, but it’s worth it! This will definitely be my new spot!

Today was my first time here and I can’t stress enough how welcoming and friendly the staff are. They are a family based nail salon and very professional and accommodating. Rosa is such a sweetheart, she truly loves her customers and work that she does! I will definitely be coming back

Ladies if you’re looking for a new place to get your nails done look no further ! Went here for the first time yesterday and I can tell you I’ve never written a review for a nail salon ! Just had to for this one!
First of all their genuine welcome was so refreshing. Rosa took such care in doing my nails and when I commented on that she just claimed «I just love my job and my customers «. How nice is that to hear? I could tell she meant every word .
This little shop is thee gem in El Cajon. All the women so nice and genuine such a difference.
If I could use 10 stars I would! Love this place !
