We contacted the management team on Saturday morning to inquire if we could buyout the restaurant for a large team dinner the following night. They agreed and on what was a moments notice made our team dinner a huge success. Everything was served hot, fresh and in a very timely manner. The staff set a great buffet with pizza, salad, breadsticks and drinks for our players and families to enjoy and provided great service to everyone including others who ordered chicken, ribs and pasta as well. We look forward to returning to O’s in the future for another team dinner and cannot thank the staff enough for all they did. Great service!

This place was just awesome! My daughter hosted a mall-themed birthday party & O’s was our resturant/home base. The staff were so accommodating! Kate was particularly amazing. All the staff were super helpelful and nice. We were able to have seating at the outdoor area, which was great for 16 loud girls. They were able to store my birthday cake for me(no additional charge) and allowed us to decorate our tables. The food was yummy, and the event was a huge success. The staff really contributed to the success of this event.

I eat here all the time and never once had a bad experience. Staff is always very attentive and they seem to enjoy their job. Also the food is excellent!!! Overall I feel this location has a good vibe with good quality food that’s also very affordable. Definitely would recommend over all other places in the mall.

Went there with my kids and dined in. We ordered meals that could be shared because we can’t ever finish all the food. The girl that brought our food to our table was quite rude when we asked for a few extra breadsticks and then again when we asked where the remainder of our order was. The manager was walking the tables and I told him about our service and said that the girl was really rude. HE was AWESOME… He apologized for her and then gave us a nice discount for next time. I told him that wasn’t necessary but he did it anyway. What started out as a one star review turned around because of this manager. Thanks again.

Great place inside Parkeay Plaza to eat. This place offers a variety of foods to satisfy any appetite. Pizza, soups, salads, sandwiches, and entrees are available. Staff is friendly and helpful. Order a combo — it comes with a drink, breadsticks, and a side with your order.

This place used to be soooooo good! The staff are friendly and have a smile on their faces. …but not a single part of me order was right. Ordered a quarter white meat chicken… we got dark, order a cup of tortilla soup… we were charged for and got a bowl, ordered a medium lemon chicken salad… somehow that never even got ordered in. The chicken was average, the soup was nasty and when I finally went back and ordered the salad, it was average. Super disappointed and probably won’t be back. BUT. …the bread sticks are all delicious!

I’ve been coming here since back in the day when it was still Pat and Oscars. It’s definitely one of the better places to eat at Parkway Plaza and always has been. If you’re roaming the mall and your stomach is sarting to growl, I recommend you head this way. The food here is consistently good, and if you’ve ever been here before you already know that the breadsticks are the best part! Serving sizes are quite generous, so before you order take that into consideration. If you don’t have a huge appetite, be prepared to walk away with leftovers or consider splitting a meal with someone else. My recommendations here are the lemon chicken, Greek salad, ribs, and of course the breadsticks. I’ve never really had anything that wasn’t good, but those items are staples and have never steered me wrong.

It’s always a nice stop for me. Grab a quick little salad and breadsticks. Food never really disappoints. But. This trip around. To the girl with«619» tattoos behind your ear and what looks like a dream catcher on your left arm?- wouldn’t hurt to put a smile on and be nice to all your guests in the restaurant. She made me among others feel uncomfortable asking for anything. She asks«if we need anything else» but isn’t looking the guests, friendly, or even stays at the table to hear an answer. She walks away as she asks it. Like I said– food is always good but service could step it up a bit.

Family deals are the way to go!!! Upon arrival the gal there offered us a breadstick… since I’m new to San Diego, first time here, I was so impressed with the service. Place is a great deal with good food. Had plenty to take home for the next day. Definitely will one back here again.

Bland. Too few choices. I know they’re trying to continue the business before that was in the same location, Pat and Oscars, but why not try something new? We actually left without ordering the last time because the food was unremarkable. I wouldn’t waste my time, unless you like chicken and bread sticks and a side of salad. Ho hum.

Fast food at restaurant prices. I had the ribs, BBQ chicken, and roast veggies. The membrane wasn’t completely removed from the ribs, and I’m pretty sure they sauce it with ketchup. The meat was tough. The roast veggies couldn’t have been roasted more than 5 minutes. I tried a bite of the cheese pizza, and it ended up in a napkin. I don’t think I’ve ever paid so much money for such horrible food.

I was first introduced to this place years ago when my employer used to have meetings catered. Back then it was Oscar’s, and then Pat and Oscar’s and now, all these years later it’s O’s American Kitchen. Everything, other than the multiple name changes, has remained fairly consistent from what I can remember. When heading out for our traditional Sunday lunch with the family, TJ suggests«O’s» in Parkway Plaza. Being the easy going and easy to please chap that I am, I go along with it, all the while thinking I could really use a big, fat and greasy cheeseburger. TJ arrived shortly before we did and placed his order. It’s a «walk-up and order place» just inside the main entrance of Parkway Plaza in El Cajon. Shortly after we placed our order and paid, food started arriving at the table. We ordered the Family Combo Meal, which is advertised to feed a family of four. It includes a salad(we chose Greek), pasta(we went with alfredo), half of a chicken(BBQ for us. You can also go with lemon), a medium pizza AND12 bread sticks. The bread sticks alone are worth the trip. As good or better than OG. We added drinks for the four in our party and the total was less than $ 45!!! The Family Combo Meal was enough for the four us and then some. Easily could have fed six or eight. As I was ooing and awwwing over the amount of food, TJ says, «we usually get the dinner for two for the four of us.» That would have been useful information BEFORE we ordered. The service was great and the food was served up fresh. They have several dressings and sauces to choose from for your salad and bread sticks. If you’re in Parkway Plaza, give yourself a break from the food court and check out O’s American Kitchen. Even if you’re not shopping at PP, it’s worth the trip for a good meal and affordable prices. Keep in mind the amount of food you get before you place your order. It may save you a couple of bucks. I will definitely return.

I ate at O’s kitchen yesterday for the first time since they opened back up and it tasted great. Appears to be all the same old recipes from when Oscars was there, which I thought were all really good. Breads sticks haven’t changed a bit. I got the wings half lemon half spicy and wife got soup and salad combo. Good food good prices.

Food was delicious as usual but what really pleased me was the customer service. The girl who took our order was incredibly helpful, polite and happy!

The chicken & ribs platter is pretty delicious. It’s not that expense in which includes a side of your choice in which I selected Mac n cheese with 2 breadsticks.

To previous whiners — What are you people complaining about?! It’s not a five star restaurant, but it’s certainly not«hospital food». The manager Daniel T. was very friendly. I bought a buy one get one coupon but had an issue printing it. Showed him proof I got it and he took my word for it, since I had proof of purchase. My boyfriend got the half lemon chicken with Mac n cheese and I got pasta marinara with garlic green beans. My food was great, but I ended up mooching off of a quarter of his chicken because it was AMAZING. Tender and well seasoned with fresh veggies — I will for sure be back again.

Went there tonight with a large group and it was a perfect setting. Lots of tables to put together in order to accommodate our large group. We ordered the family meal for six and added an extra pizza which was plenty of food for 12 people! The staff was very friendly and everything we ordered came out hot and perfectly seasoned. I would encourage anyone who gave this place a negative review to give them a second chance. I will definitely go back and take my entire family again.

Tuscan chicken sandwich tasted rubbery and gross. I can’t understand how anyone can make a chicken sandwich so bad. Never coming back here again.

Hospital food esq… Wouldn’t come back, my daughter wouldn’t even touch her food. Salad was wilted and the bread was dull. I only gave it an extra star because the cashier who took my order was nice

Wouldn’t go back, the food was blah, overcooked salmon, cold mashed potatoes, dry and burned veggies, chicken was dry also, not to mention that we waited for 20 minutes to get our food, I thought that since it was taking so long the food was going to be great! Not the case. Not worth time or money. Also, the staff isn’t friendly, I wouldn’t go back that’s for sure
