I always love my spa pedicure at Perfection nails! Trin is my gal and she is sweet and very competent. The shop has been renovated recently and always looks clean and neat. Prices are very good, too.

I’ve been going to this nail shop for over 5 years!(But I was always too lazy to write a review, oops) Currently, I am traveling between Hawaii and LA but every chance I get I make a pitstop in San Diego to get my nails done here. I usually get gel manicures and they are amazing! Super attentive to my needs, and the gel lasts forever. Everyone here is very friendly and professional. The prices are great compared to their competitors. The shop itself is super clean and has been remodeled/updated recently with new massage chairs that are amazing~ Highly recommended if you’re in this area of town(even if you’re not, it might be worth the drive). Just let them know what you want and they’ll be sure to pamper and treat you like royalty.

Ivy is very nice and attentive. It is so, so cold in here though. Either the heater does not work or the owner is being conservative. I wish it was warm enough to relax.

First time ever going to this nail salon… And it wasn’t bad at all. My sister and I got manicures. She did acrylic and I did gel. My lady did a good job but kinda argued with the fact that I wanted my French tip really thin. But did what I wanted anyways.

She rushed through leaving nail polish on my toes. Took my gel mani off, kind of. After the burning of the acetone I took off my own foil. I asked for a buffing to let my nails breathe and she left so much residue on my nails it looks like I’ve been digging in the dirt. Which didn’t show through until after about an hour. I watched them NOT sterilize their tools. Ever noticed that nothing is ever in the barbicide?! Sick. I try not to complain and give businesses chances cause everyone has bad days but I stopped going here months ago after they told me why they won’t do two coats of clear gel when every other place does it. Sure enough I was reminded why I wasted my money.

My mom and I have been going here for years. I can’t give it a 5 because there are a couple of things that have been more noticeable recently. First, the quality of work is not consistent. Sometimes my nails look fantastic and other times they are just okay. The second is that they never run the AC so if the heat bothers you(which it does me) I recommend that you go as early as possible. I have thought about changing shops but don’t know of any that are any better and most are higher priced.

I am so disappointed in this place that i will never return for a pedi. I was in this center for my nail appointment and my usual place was not close by. I came in and paid $ 17 to have my feet washed and nail polished changed. No scrubbing of my feet or callus remover. My feet are still ruff and dried out. So now I have to spend another $ 20 to have feet done correctly. I am not sure where these great reviews come from this place is less than marginal for a pedicure.

Mindy gave me a great pedicure and I will go back when I need a pedicure and I don’t have a trip to L.A. planned. There are so many nail places nowadays and they are all not the same. I am very happy with the service and the price was very reasonable too.

I’ve been shopping around for a new nail salon for about a year. Stumbled upon this one, and I’m very happy with everything. The price is VERY reasonable, staff are very knowledgeable, experienced, and care about their work. They treat their customers warmly and are friendly. I don’t get acrylics or special work done, just a basic manicure, and it’s hard to find a reasonably priced place that does the basic manicure well. Also, the shopping center they’re in, and the ones nearby it, have grocery, drug and other popular stores, so I can conveniently wrap up a lot of errands when I come here! This is my new favorite nail salon!

My mom and I have been coming here for about 10 years and we love it. It’s a no frills salon where you can get a basic mani/pedi(no fancy massage chair) for $ 25. We always go to Mindy, who I highly recommend because she never cuts us and takes her time with everything. I love how I am always greeted by name no matter how long I go between visits(I don’t live in SD so my last visits were at lease 8 months apart). The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the décor isn’t as luxurious as other places. I do not mind this because they offer quality nail services at a good price, but other people might mind. I have yet to find a place in L.A.(where I’ve lived for 4 years) that I like as much as this one!

I was not too impressed by their acrylics but the pedicure was nice. I will return for my toes and a manicure but would not suggest getting acrylics done here. I broke a nail and had it fixed and they did not shape it the same as my other nails. I had to ask for it to be fixed and even then I had to convince them to fix it. It also turned yellow quickly. I did get the gel so I thought it was strange. They are cheap.

This hard to find little salon is made to Perfection. To be so small they have many employees, lots of chairs and honey… these aren’t your average every day chairs. We are talking massage chairs for the ultimate pedicure. I was in heaven. I sat down and was given the remote(too bad I’m not a man) to program the type of massage(tapping, kneading, rolling) and the areas in distressed(upper, lower, all over) I have to say I felt pampered all over. Very friendly, reasonably priced and I can’t wait to return. What can I say? ALLOVERPERFECTION!
