In the classroom setting, Save-A-Life Educators uses the «Doing, Hearing, & Seeing» teaching method. Studies show people seem to retain the information and skills much longer with this teaching technique. Save-A-Life Educators provides an environment that is relaxing, positive, and interesting. Lastly, our students have their own manikins to work on. Face shields are provided to all participants. Each participant will be issued a handbook and certification card good for two years.
Save-A-Life Educators, INC. does not use volunteers for their instructors and carefully hand picks quality instructors. The work ethic of the company has always been superior to others. Vicki and Company conduct themselves professionally and are sensitive to the needs of others. History
Established in 1994.
Vicki Igou founded Save-A-Life Educators, INC. in February of 1994 and her company is continually growing and striving towards excellence. Vicki is a retired Fire Captain with over 14 years of experience in the Fire Service, including EMT-D certification (emergency medical technician — defibrillator). She has a teaching credential through the community colleges, and a degree in Fire Science. She has been an American Heart Association (AHA) instructor /affiliate for over 13 years. Chris Hess is the Vice President of Save-A-Life Educators, INC. and has been the co-owner of the company since 1994. She is a retired Fire Captain with 30 years of service and during that time she acquired her EMT Certification. Chris has a teaching credential through the community colleges and is an AHA instructor. She is a confident, dynamic, and passionate instructor.
