Do not come to this place !!! They have the most rudest customer service ever !!!

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!! The woman that works inside is complete garbage. She is rude and just not 5 minutes ago (which made me even sign up for Unilocal to warn everyone) she snapped at a customer. If my clothes were not already being washed I would have left and gone elsewhere.

Typical laundromat… machines are old and the attendant lady is grumpy. More expensive then other cleaner places and it’s taking almost $ 5 to dry my towels?! Only came cause it was closer to home but never again.

The laundry facility is not bad although the location is a bit sketchy (situated next to a dive bar and liquor store) but the machines work very well and I didn’t have to wait for any so that was nice. However, upon my arrival I required change. I tried using the change machine and it do not work. I went to the attendant on duty (Josefina) and asked her if she had to turn it on? She said yes because people would steal the money out of it if it was left on. I asked if people put money into the machine and got money back out, how was that stealing? She got upset because I was asking questions and responded «Well if you want you can call my manager and ask her!» I just said, not necessary I’ll just use the change machine.
The wash cycles and dry cycles went great. After the dry cycles completed it was about 9:20 (they close at 10 pm) and I was just starting to fold my laundry with my girlfriend when Angelina (an older Hispanic lady) opened up the restroom and began to prep for cleaning it. I needed to use the facilities and I didn’t want to go after she cleaned it out if respect so I went in.
I heard a woman yell out STUPIDO after the bathroom door shut. She then proceeded to bang on the door. I opened the bathroom door and she stood there and yelled at me calling me stupid for using the bathroom and demanded I clean it! I didn’t even get a chance on use the restroom.
Additionally, while I was in the bathroom she was screaming at my girlfriend in Spanish. My girlfriend looked up at her from the pile of our laundry and responded «What?» Angelina then mocked her and began to cuss under her breath at which time I came out after hearing this. I demanded to talk to the owner who conveniently didn’t pick up the phone when they attempted to call.
The owners name is Kathy Malkemus and rest assured I will be making another appearance to talk to her in person about this matter.
There was another lady finishing up her laundry while this was going on and she was astonished and shocked at how this lady was acting.
Ultimately the facilities were nice however the customer service is completely unsatisfactory. I will not come back except to rectify this situation with management. I hope others have a less confrontational experience.

I have been going to this laundromat for over three years now and it has been awesome. The owners are nice but firm if you don’t follow the posted rules. They are always more than fair about returning your money if there is a problem. However lately many of the machines are out of order and have been for a while now. Otherwise I would give them five stars.

Yes, I am one of those apartment dwellers. I like doing my laundry at my apartment complex but sometimes you just have to wash the comforters and blankets. That’s what makes TLC a great place to go.
They have 4 sizes of washers with very reasonable operating costs.
$ 1.75 — Large loads (big commercial washers that are usually larger than the ones found at apartment complexes)
$ 2.00 — XL loads
$ 3.50 — Comforters, blankets, or double loads (good size)
$ 5.00 — XXL loads, multiple blankets, multiple comforters etc.
The dryers are only $ 0.25 for 8 minutes. This is great because you can just add quarters until your laundry is dry. If you have light drying closes, you can save money on drying.
Another good thing about TLC is that I’ve yet to see them so busy that I had to wait on a washer. I just did 9 loads last Saturday around 11am. No problems at all.
