Terrible dealership. I have bought about 7 cars from them over about 10 years. I kept coming back to them stupidly. Check the tires on the cars and get financing before you go, if you haved to get a car from them. do your homework.
The cars i had got were all great except 2 out of the 7. The first one i bought years ago when it was called trick trucks or they worked with trick trucks was a 2002 silverado. I wanted a truck. It was on the lift. Looked great. Had dual exhaust and wheels. Test drove it rode nice. They said they could pay off my car and get me in to this truck for 299 a month 1200 down. I was like hell ya. I wanted a truck and owed 8k on an older infiniti j30. My first car. I didn’t know about the top price. good apr but 21k for a o2 truck in 05 no good.
A few years later when gas prices went up i wanted to trade the truck and came back. got a 04 evo. All hooked up. Thats why i loved this places. Cars had nice mods on it. I got ripped off on financing but still took it 499 a month crazy no down payment. I crashed it in the ran 2 days later. Evos are 4 wheel drive and the back in slid in to the center divide. things never added up on that one. Insurance totaled it out and i had gap thank god. I was 7 thousand over on that car.
Still stupid and loving cars i go to the tent sale and end up in a 99 mustang. Cold air intake throttle body spacer exhaust, and mach system. 10k total and 200 a month. Thinking a little more but not realizing im getting screwed on the price of the car. Cars worth 7k. 3 weeks later i go back and get another car it is too small for my daughter to sit in the back
i get a 2004 wrx. had gauges that didn’t work. i found out later 700 gauges that didn’t work. All stock super clean 24k. 350 a month. I drive this for a few years puts rims and fix gauges. That would have been a keeper but my wives cars tranny goes bad. Im back in there trying to get her a tahoe
They rape me on that. only give me 17k. I made the car better. Wish i would have sold the tires and gauges before i traded it in. I get a 2003 tahoe on 22’s for the wife. Got ripped from every angle on that one they knew i was desperate. She drove that until 2008 when the economy tanked alot with my house and job. Had to declare bankruptcy. Its gone. Lucky it was in my wife’s name along with the house
So i go back again and get a 99 prelude. 10k again 250 a month. I was happy with this. Another forever car. But wife again when she gets a job again i have to get her a car. A little smarter after being screwed so many times. I am doing research before i get the next one
i trade in my prelude for a 2008 scion xb. Had no miles on it. I checked the blue book with the options everything lined up. Got it for 20k paid off my prelude 4500 i owed. and it was 299 a month nothing down. I was happy and it looked like all the numbers worked out. I originally saw it at the tent sale. i went home to do research and bought it the next day. I take it home and everything is great. A week later i get a call and they say the finance company didn’t approve my loan. They need 2k down for everything to go through. I’m like crap. Let me try to get the money together. Low and behold they are full of crap. I get a letter from the finance company saying welcome. They call again asking for the money i say screw you come pick up the car if you want i aint giving you nothing. I thought that would be the last time i bought anything from them.
I wanted to treat myself to a car since i had used cars since 2008. Buy something for me. Not my wife but for me i go to the tent sale. Who do i run into, and didn’t even know it. The same dealership. I found out later there are only 4 dealerships there and they are always one of them. I went in there just looking at bmws. I really needed a car because i sold my last one and was car less. I test drove a few bmws and like a 04 545. It was nice but i was still scared. he promised me if i didn’t like it i could bring it back super confident. i took it home and the trans shifted weird. I immediately call them. he said bring it back and i will fix it. I go home and look up that model. Those cars are known to have transmission problems. I told him i want something else. He said he can get me anything i want. i said i need it to be the same price. They go to the auction and get cars. I told him i want an is350. 2 weeks later after stringing me along he bring a crappy is350 and an es350. The es didn’t run right and was an ugly color. The is350 had scratched 19 non stock wheels a radio that didn’t work and scratches on the interior like someone stole the radio and they replaced it with another. but the radio didnt work. i test drove every car i was interested on the lot. I left with the one i loved at the tent sale but thought was impractical. 06 300c srt8. I loved that car. never had a problem. But i got ripped for 3k on that one too and knew it this time because i was desperate.

This dealership should be closed by DMV and Consumer Affairs. I purchased a 1999 BMW 540i in 2008. What a piece of junk. The vehicle had been tampered with just to make it road worthy. ABS was even disconnected to hide serious brake system problems. I spent thousands to correct these issues. This dealership never had a mechanic available to repair the vehicle.
I blame myself for being in a hurry to buy a car. This dealership is a joke — but they remain in business. Clearly they have the right political and underworld connections.

My terrible service began not even five minutes after walking onto the lot. My brother and I stopped by one day because we’re both looking at purchasing jeeps, him a wrangler, and me a commander. The guy was incredibly annoying, as most car salesmen are, so when he was helping my brother (who’s 28, I am 18; I never get helped because I look like a child) I went to look by myself. Another guy came to help out and was so laid back and cool! The original guy came and got me and said he was helping me. I told him to leave me alone, and that I was doing fine. He started to have an attitude, and I told him he has no right to speak to me like that. He proceeded to yell at me, saying I was probably 16, and he could talk to me however he wanted. Needless to say, I began to scream. Funny thing about this whole situation was that I own a business, and make 250,000 a year. I planned on paying cash for the car, but ended up walking away, neither me nor my brother purchased a car there. I had a change in heart, and got an ft cruiser at Toyota el Cajon. I had amazing service there. And would recommend the Toyota dealership any day.
DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR, OR WASTE YOUR TIME LOOKING AT THE TRUCK AND SUV SUPERSTORE. THE DEALERSHIP IS A JOKE.

This place is the absolute WORST. They are complete scumbags who sell people cars that should not be being sold — I’ve had thousands of dollars of problems with the car I bought from them 3 months ago. The service manager, Carlos hung up on me when I called to discuss my problems with the car. Luckily I got a flat tire and the tire store told me that the wrong tires were on the front of my car and the tires that were on the car were actually dangerous to be driving around on! I’m in the process of determining if the car qualifies as a lemon, under the lemon law because it’s had that many issues and it’s just not right. In addition, when I had called and left a message for Carlos to call me back, one of the salesmen called me thinking I was calling to inquire about a car and I told him what I had called about, and he said «I’m sorry, I’m not one of the sales guys here that sell those type of cars to people, but I hope you get it worked out.» Not only did he not try to help me or get in touch with Carlos but he admitted that they are scumbags! Absolutely ridiculous. This place is AWFUL– do not buy a car here or you will be sorry.

they told me a truck was there. drove all the way from mira mesa to see it and it wasnt there. this was the same day.
employee and manager both said it happens alot. so that means they are scammers. tried to sell me other trucks outside my range. i walked away and manager tells me to keep walking because they dont need my kind.

MAJOR LEAGUE SCAM ARTISTS, BUYER BEWARE! We bought a Nissan Sentra at one of those giant tent sales at Qualcomm in October of 2010. We weren’t expecting superior quality from Nissan’s cheapest car on the road, and it came as no surprise that we had to deal with several mechanical issues. We only bought the car as a cheap way to get around town doing errands, etc., to save wear and tear on our Toyota Avalon.
Here’s the issue with Truck & SUV Superstore, yesterday we were set to trade in this «gem» of a car for what we thought would be Kelly Bluebook trade in rate for a car in good condition (we take great care of our cars) and lo and behold this car has been in an accident… WHAT A SHOCK… we went back and checked the Car Fax that came with the car when we originally bought it from these sneaky crooks… and of course the Car Fax is clean… as we now have learned from a reputable dealer, this is what crooked car dealers do with these Car Fax reports, they have the timing just right that the accident hasn’t been reported yet so it appears their hands are clean BUT they have to know it had been in an accident when they bought it at auction. These are flim-​flam artists at work… yes you shouldn’t put all your trust in a Car Fax BUT you should be able to trust the car dealer… wait did I just write «trust a car dealer» HA HA HA… now that’s a true oxymoron… bottom line they are shady dealers. Our new car dealer says that it’s common knowledge amongst dealers that the shady ones use this trick. TRUCK AND SUV SUPERSTORE ARE NOT HONEST.

We bought an SUV there and they said it had been through a maintenance check and everything was fine. Turns out within 1 week we checked the oil and it was almost EMPTY. How can you sell a vehicle without oil and there is not leak. The next week we often had to jump the vehicle. Now we find out they put in an old, substandard battery AND the alternator is bad. They said they replaced the brakes, I can only imagine what tired used brakes they installed. Stick to a reputable dealer… I will definately never go back and will make sure everyone knows to stay away. They are shady!!!

I bought a 2007 Camry back in 2010, the vehicle looked great, but one week later the AC went out. I returned to the dealer and they hassled me about the repair work until finally they agreed to get the work done.
A month after the purchase I get a call from financing asking me to pay an additional $ 500 for licensing and registration. They harassed me for several weeks until I finally walked into the showroom and spoke to one of the managers, which was not too helpful, but after I threatened to take him to small claims he coughed up my tags and registration.
The same day I walked out with my tags another gentlemen was there to return a car he was sold that was overheating… I wish I would have done more research on this company before my purchase!
I recently had work done on my car and they asked me when I was in a car accident, I said never. The mechanic said this car was in a fender bender and the AC unit was damaged. It all makes sense now with the AC unit going out on me after a week of the purchase. Stay away from their TENT Sales!

I had never bought a car before and was finding it to be much more difficult than I had imagined – especially how sleazy used car dealerships are. After receiving something in the mail from CapitalOne about pre-​approved financing at Truck & SUV Superstore, I figured if CapitalOne supports them, they must not be too bad.
I arrived shortly after they opened on a Sunday morning because I wanted to have the dealership to myself and not have to deal with anyone else being interested in the car I wanted. I knew how much I wanted to put down and how much I wanted to spend monthly, so all I needed was to find cars in my price range. There was a language barrier between myself the first man who approached me, so I was really hesitant.
Finally, we found Greg and he is AWESOME! He understood that my biggest priority was to find something in my price range. I wanted to buy a car that day, but would be okay if I didn’t find the right fit because I was firm on what I wanted to spend. Greg showed me some cars, but nothing was calling my name. I’m a teacher and plan on having a family soon, so a little convertible or 2 door coupe was not what I was looking for.
The manager approached us and didn’t have the greatest people skills. He said I needed to be more specific and choose what kind of car I wanted; he also said that I needed to be willing to spend more monthly if I wanted lots of choices. He didn’t seem to understand where I was coming from, and probably thought that he could push me around because I was a younger girl by myself. I could have done without him.
Greg showed me an SUV that I really liked, but was out of my price range. He told me to test drive it and go from there — I didn’t like the idea of driving something out of my price range, because I would fall in love with it even more. During the test drive, I told him that if he could get the car to fit my budget, I would take it in an instant.
After some hmming and haaing, I agreed to raise the amount of my down payment and they were able to lower the price until it was in my price range.
In the end, I had a relatively painless experience and left extremely happy. There is still a significant amount of the manufacturer’s warranty and the dealership included a 30 day warranty. I had the car checked out independently and it is in perfect condition. I would definitely recommend Truck & SUV Superstore to anyone in the market for a car.

I bought a vehicle from here about a year ago and I had a horrible experience. First the SUV I purchased had a lot of mechanical problems when I tried to schedule and appointment the mechanics were never available when they finally go in touch with me my 30 day warranty had expired. Not only that the car sales man (ART) lied to me about a «bank» charge that brought my loan up by almost $ 4,000 dollars. When I found out I called him and he claimed it was the finance guy’s error.
DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER THEY ARE SNEAKY AND THEIR VEHICLES ARE VERY POOR MAINTENANCE.

I’m not sure what the other people reviewing Truck and SUV Superstore wanted. As I write that sentence I am reminded of how many people are out there that think the world owes them something. You receive respect from others when you respect yourself.
I was sent to this dealership by M&M Auto Warehouse, a dealership that I will be reviewing positively directly after this one. M&M couldn’t confirm my finances, so they sent me to Truck and SUV.
I pulled up and Paul and Rocky were my contacts. Both were awesome guys and walked me to the finance department first, knowing my credit challenges. We wanted to make sure we were looking at cars in my price range and ones that I would be approved for FIRST before I fell in love with a car and couldn’t afford it. Is that not awesome, you guys?! I’ve personally in the past fallen in love with a Mustang and afterwards couldn’t be approved for it. I don’t like getting excited over a vehicle that can’t ever be mine.
After asking general questions and looking into my credit/​work/​trade in, we figured out an amount for which I would be approved.
I chose the most awesome little black car, my Little vroom vroom, it’s awesome!
All finances were settled in an hour. The car was mine. We switched all my belongings out of my old car and into my new car. As I was doing this, Paul came out with Stone Cold Creamery cupcakes and gave us each one. They were yummy.
It was at this point that I remembered all these terrible reviews. Seriously?! Dude hands me a cupcake from heaven as I’m leaving and you people are all anti? What were you expecting? God himself to come down and personally escort you into a new vehicle?
Car shopping and purchasing sucks. No doubt about it, but these guys did everything the right way from the beginning. They helped me, they didn’t try to pressure me and assured me that I would find the perfect car for me and I did.
The selection is outstanding, the salesmen were amazing and the finance department worked with me on a down payment and my payments per month.
I feel awesome driving around in my car and I would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you’re looking for a truck. They came down on the sticker price for me, they detailed the car for me and they have been amazing afterwards with their follow ups and their financials. Everything was simply easy and uplifting.
Ask for Rocky! You won’t be sorry!

Truck & SUV Superstore Inc., on 327 El Cajon blvd in El Cajon city is bad business, signed a contract for a truck yesterday went back today to pay deposit and they raised the price on us… and he tells me because I have bad attitude and I know it all AND I should have taken the truck yesterday and they are allowed to rescind on the contract if they feel like it… what got me is this was a purchase my fiancé wanted to make and he fought for this Country to be treated like this. REALLY… they have their show room decorated with Military flags but its all a façade and it angers me that people use these tactics and act like they’re proud of our Military and shake their hand and say how thankful they are and then slap him in the face like that and all because I intimidate him and all he had to use against me was his selfishness and ability to go back on his word all on my my fiancé’s expense… Everyone tells me not to waste my time on ignorant s but I can only use the power of social networking to gain my satisfaction of giving them the worse reputation my little fingers will let me type… I hope everyone on here reported them to the BBB they have tons of complaints all ready but the more the better I would say. I wouldn’t by a car from Chuck or Bill if they gave it to me for half the price. I am working on their advertising dept and with the city of El Cajon to let them know what kind of low lifes they have conducting business in their city. Also, starting a complaint with the consumer complaint dept which I have personal contacts working there. Also, trying to work with legal through the military to get them blacked listed. (at least they won’t be able to exploit military families) Called everyone who will listen so we’ll see what happens. The first two people on this page had to either have been paid or work for the company to have wrote what they did because this place is a joke and I warn anyone who wants to purchase a vehicle from these clowns.

All that matters to these people is the sale! I bought a SUV at the tent sale at Qualcomm. After the purchase I was told to go to the their dealership the next day to get the navigation disc and the remote key. When I arrived the next day they sent me to 3 different people before someone finally got me the disc. But they said they had no keys… they insisted the salesperson said they «might» have more keys. They told me «I» misunderstood the salesperson. I just paid a large sum of money for a luxury car and they’re telling me they can not even provide me with the proper keys! I not only argued with the finance lady who we met the previous day, but also the dealership manager… neither of whom seemed to care, their car was sold, that’s all that matters to them. I highly DO NOT recommend buying a vehicle thru these guys! Shady shady shady!
As I was leaving another customer stopped me and informed me that he was trying to return a truck because the frame was bent. They had told him it was in great condition and the carfax was clear. Carfax is easily manipulated and they flat out lied to him. They would know if a frame was bent because they do have a shop on location. He brought it to his own mechanic and found out of the issue. For my vehicle, I asked to put in contract about an inspection from a mechanic. They insisted I use a mechanic they referred me to. Hmmm… yea ok. I brought it to there’s and my own mechanic, luckily mine was ok. I HIGHLY suggest putting a similar clause in any contract when buying a non certified car, especially from here! They just do not care who they screw over!

I wanted to look into purchasing this Cadillac. I came to the dealership and was immediately profiled by «Chico» (who claimed to be a manager) as a 20 something male just browsing. He pretty much refused to show me this car after not knowing anything about the other cars I had seen online. I want to trade my 04 Cobra on a car that gets better gas mileage. My credit is strong enough that I could buy this car on one of my credit cards alone. My tax return was almost half of the asking price of this car but Chico just made one wild assumption after another so I walked away. I will be purchasing a similar vehicle but it will not be from this dealership.

This place is a JOKE. Talk about being nice until they get what they want. Then acting like they don’t effing know you. I was looking for a car for about a month and I went out to the store because I found they had something very similar to what I wanted online. After tuning up on a Saturday afternoon and 3 hours of negotiations, I finally brought my car. Missing was the spare key and manual. Plus there was a little damage to one of the wheels, which they obviously told me they could fix at a later date ‘no problem’. I took the car home on the Saturday night with the promise of having the key and manual ready to collect Monday, bulls##t! These guys simply shut me off and didn’t give a shit after the sale went through. I called the sales guy 3 times on the Monday and texted him twice, to hear nothing. Then I finally get through to the office to find out there wasn’t a spare key or manual. Then (the stupid effing d##ks) they sent me the number plates without the registration stickers. Then I call to speak to someone to ask about the stickers and some manager answered the phone. When I asked about my stickers he said he’ll transfer me. After being on hold for 4 minutes the same stupid guy comes back on the phone and answers it like I’m a new phone call! Then I tell him you just put me on hold, he laughed. Very bad customer service. I don’t recommend anyone to buy from this place. These guys are simple vultures who do not care about anything else apart from you driving away leaving your money in there pockets. Spend your money else where!

Bought a 4runner from these guys at Qualcomm’s Huge tent sale. Worst decision of my life! They use the old good cop, bad cop routine. These guys are shady. Right when I drive home, there’s this weird noise coming from the back of the truck. To this day, I have no idea what it is. Even took it to a mechanic to figure out what the noise was but with no luck. I tried calling them and telling them about it, but they said they couldn’t do anything about it because I didn’t mention it before I bought the truck. Also they advised me that they bought the car from an auction and the auction paper said unibody damage. They tell me the unibody damage could be ding on the fender and they would say unibody damage. I believe that the noise from the back is due to the unibody damage somewhere.
Also, there was only 1 key that came with the truck, wtf!?? I had to go call Toyota to find out if the car came with a remote key. It did, so I had to purchase it on my own. So I had to buy 2 remote keys (one extra just in case) and I bought another key because if I lose the only one they gave me, it would cost hundreds to get a new one because they have to reprogram the car due to it needing new transponder keys.
Also, they sold me a shady 100k warranty for the truck. They told me that I could take it to any toyota dealership to have repairs done and the warranty will cover it. Called Toyota the next day, they said they never heard of that warranty company. Looked up the warranty company online and they did not have a very good track record with honoring their warranties. The BBB had a lot of complaints against them.
Also, they tried to slip in lojack in the contract. First they advised me that the lojack came with the car and it was free. Then when it was time to sign the contact, it had the lojack in there for $ 600 bucks. When i tried to question them about it, they said that they did tell me it cost $ 600 and it was a great deal. BS! I should’ve known right there to walk away. *Sigh* Wish I could go back in time.
I’m warning you people, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHADY DEALERSHIP!

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! I purchased an Audi TT 01′ from Cars, Trucks, & SUV Superstore in El Cajon in August of 2008. I am trying to trade the car in or perhaps sell it privately myself. However, I have run into some problems with the history of the vehicle. Kearney Mesa Toyota has shown me the Carfax which states in 2006 the Odometer mileage reported to the DMV as fraudulent. I have the paperwork I signed with Cars, Trucks, & SUV Superstore. It was not disclosed to me in the paperwork what had previously been reported to the DMV. I proceeded to go to Cars, Trucks, & SUV Superstore and speak with the manager (Paul) on January 6, 2011. I showed him the Carfax documents and he said he would call Carfax and have them fix the «error» and also take care of calling the DMV to report the error. I spoke with Paul the following day and he said that the auction they had bought the car from did not disclose the same mileage fraud information to them. Paul said that Cars, Trucks, & SUV Superstore would have a lawsuit with the auction company they originally bought the car from and I could come in and trade my car in and purchase a different vehicle from him. He said the owner gave him permission to trade my car in for a higher price than what other dealers were offering. I explained to Paul again, the reason no one would buy the car for the highest value, is because the Carfax report had shown fraudulent mileage reported to the DMV. He asked me to come in and look around and go from there. I brought my father with me to speak with Paul. When we walked into Cars, Trucks, & SUV Superstore office, a different manager (Carl) had reassured me that I would get $ 15,000+ due to the Carfax report, documents, etc. My father and I found a different vehicle on their lot that I was interested in and proceeded to do the paperwork. Carl then asked me how much Kearney Mesa Dealer was originally going to buy the car. I said Kearney Mesa Toyota did not give me an original quote. The only quote they gave me was $ 3,000, due to fraudulent mileage on the Carfax. Carl then said he would buy the car from Kearney Mesa Toyota for $ 6,000 and «absorb» the additional $ 3,000.00 into the new vehicle. This did not make sense to me given that I never said I would sell my car for less than $ 10,000. (This is what the car is still worth). Now that I know I can not sell the car for more than $ 3,000 due to the Carfax report and DMV records, I would like reimbursement for what I originally paid for the vehicle or the current Suggested Retail Value in Kelly Blue Book.
To top it off, the salesman broke out in a fist fight in the main office and my Dad had to break them up!!!
If your smart you Will NOT do business with this dealership!

OK so I hate buying a car but I need one in the next day or two. I go past Truck and SUV everyday on my way home so thought I’d drop by.
I was greeted by Gregg R., nice guy, asked me what I was looking for and he showed me to a nice 08 Matrix. Took it for a spin, very nice, now down to the numbers.
I was thinking of trading in my Motorbike, but the numbers weren’t right, the price of the Matrix was lowered nicely though. Unfortunately, conferring with my better half, the deal was still too high even though Chuck was willing to help.
Would not hesitate to visit them again for another car.

Shady salespeople. I was both deceived and flat out lied to during the purchase of a vehicle from these guys. After I figured out what they’d done, I spent weeks trying to track someone down to admit they had intentionally lied, but of course no one would even so much as return me a phone call.
I tried for a few months to get a statement of work for the lift and tires out of them. I must have called over 10 times, each time «oh yes, we’ll get right on it and fax it over. What was your fax number again». Trick Trucks was the name of the shop that did the lift. The truck was out of alignment when I got it, I took it to these guys 3 times and they couldn’t get the alignment right. I finally just ended up taking it to ORW to pay to have it done right and now it’s perfect.
They also never filed the proper DMV paperwork for the release of liability on my trade in vehicle (which they told me they wanted to handle themselves). Over the following months, I received 2 «registration suspension» notices from the DMV, I called the dealer both times to have them resolve it. Both times, they told me they’d take care of it and STILL, 6 months later the DMV is sending me a registration bill. So I filled it out the release of liability online myself, hopefully that solves it.
Anyhow, I just want to warn people about this place. They often sell trucks at the Qualcomm Tent Sales also. Beware — «Shady used car dealers»
