Goodbye Washington Market. I am so sad. Sam and his crew had the best little store in East County. I would pick up my foods staples at a chain grocery store but always went to Washington Market for their reasonably priced, quality meats. Well, the store has been sold, and in the last few months I’ve seen the selection and customer service diminish to sub standards. First, aisles of items began to disappear. Yesterday, I went in there and the whole meat counter was gone.
The butcher is the nicest guy. I hope someone recognizes his talents and he’s able to realize new employment. Now the store seems a bit shady. Without product, the store has to be sustained by some other revenue source. I’m going to miss them.

My local one stop shop for all my Hispanic cravings. Some coronas, michalada cups, Mexican candy, tortilla chips and some BOMB guacamole and BOMB ceviche. I always hit them up before a charger game. Customer service is on point! They even have a raffle give away once every month when you purchase $ 20 worth of groceries. The prizes are pretty awesome too. They also cash checks, do western union, money orders, and gift cards. Thank you for being so convenient Washington market!

Love this place! It has everything I need… I came in the other day for some carne Asada and remembered I forgot to buy onion powder at the store and the butcher offered to season the meat for me! Picked up my chips and fresh guacamole and salsa! Dinner couldn’t come any sooner!

Love their produce sounds weird but avocados the size of your head. Crazy selection of everything else. Meat packs. Smells good. 20Lb bags of ice Just dropped my debit card in there carrying the ice and an employee ran out to give it to me. Very nice and HONEST employees. Thank you so much for being honest!

Stopped by here to get a few things before I went to a friends house. Service is very friendly. Nice people all around! Had everything I needed and the prices were good. Stop by the Mexican resteraunt next door if you get a chance, they have the best Mexican food!

I went to the Market to cash a Western Union check, the gentleman at the counter was very helpful and courteous, this is after 4 other places which said they had westen union but were either rude or said their machines were not working. He was very polite and very helpful, he told me exactly what steps I needed to follow to get the money sent to me.

Not only are they working with our school in order to boost our attendance rate by donating vouchers every quarter, but they also donated a Christmas tree for our Winter Wonderland event. We are so grateful to find a local business that is willing to help a nearby school.

One of my favorite places to purchase meat and vegetables. I’ve introduced several people to it and they all have thanked me. And when I have a barbecue with my daughter and her foster kids, I always bring the chicken because she said it is one of the few times they don’t complain about the food and just eat :-). Ask for Sebastian, he is very helpful.

Stopped by this place other day after not having been here in a while & WOW there has been some great changes around here! They have every type of snack you can think of from all your regular items to Mexican candy I haven’t seen since I was a child!!! They already have a wide selection of craft beer and I asked the cashier about a few of my personal favorites and he assured me there selection was going to get even BROADER within the next month. I took a look at the meat selection they had and this is where I will be coming before my BBQ’s! excellent product and way less pricey then your typical vons/​albertsons etc. The employees are real nice people and answered all of my 21 questions lol! Ill def be back again soon! New fav market!

Best quick in & out on the go market in El Cajon. Great customer services, and one beautiful cashier. so if you just wanna drop-​in and say hello to the cashier your already a winner. So, go grab a fresh iced cold beer, pork skin chips.

Hit this place up this afternoon for some pollo asada… you can get 3 lbs for 6 bucks and it’s pretty damn good. Place is kinda cramped but that’s ok, seems like they’ve got a solid selection of meats. I’m only giving em 3 stars right now cause it was my first time there, but I plan on going back to try the adobada.

if youre ever driving down washington just as you pass magnolia you look to the left and see a little caesars pizza place and this store. its next to where the old vet place was a while. anyways pull into the parking lot one of these days and check it out. has the essential groceries, produce, meat, etc… its NOT a liquor store, its more of a nieghborhood market that has been there for over 20 years run by the same family.
i really dont think you will be dissapointed. they pretty much do everything from western union, money orders, check cashing, well you get what im saying. im not going to lie, you will see the occasional poser or wannabe out front, they are harmless.
the taco shop next door is really good too :)

I love this store! it is just right for me and they have almost all I need plus a taco shop with great food and prices, the staff is super friendly and go out of there way to make sure you are well accommodated! I cashed my check there after a friend recommended them on a Sunday when the banks were closed and been going there ever since. keep the good work guys.
