Kate was super awesome and gave me a great deal on my last minute flowers. I got 16 roses and 4 fillers and a vase! I was extremely happy with the service and will definitely need to come back for all my flower needs. Even coming in last minute they still had an amazing selection and were able to give me the perfect flowers.

I have used Kate and Wild Orchid several times, but the best was the funeral for my daughter. I wanted a casket spray of roses and tulips. It was absolutely beautiful. It was full fresh, and she did not skimp on the quality of the flowers. There were no «filler» flowers and the greenery was in perfect balance with the flowers. It was tall, full, and completely covered the casket and buds trailing down the side of the casket. It was as if it never ended. Yesterday I needed a bouquet for a sick friend, and asked if I could pick it up in 15 minutes, they put together a stunning arrangement for $ 50.00 that looked amazing and should have cost in the hundred dollar range. It was ready for me when I got there. I will alway use Wild Orchid. And my friend loved it.

Kate, who is now an owner at Wild Orchid is simply AMAZING. I am an event planner, and had a huge wedding disaster with another florist back in 2014. She quickly came to the rescue, and did such an incredible job. I have now had the pleasure of working with her several times and I can now say, she’s simply incredible. She always goes above and beyond what I expect, and the flowers are just gorgeous. From the centerpieces to the arch decorations to the STUNNING Bridal Bouquet. I have also had the unfortunate experience of working with her for a dear friends funeral. She is so patient and kind and loving with all of her clients, wether it be for their wedding day with crazy expectations, or to bury their spouse. She pours her heart into her work, and it shines through in her creations.

Two years in a row my husband and I have ordered Mother’s Day flowers for our moms from Wild Orchid — totally easy, online, affordable, and STUNNING! Even better than pictured on the website. I have received several arrangements that were created by Wild Orchid and each of them has been incredibly beautiful, long lasting and truly a statement of the sender’s intended message… Having received arrangements by other local florist, I have to say that a Wild Orchid creation always impresses me with attention to detail and the craftmanship. I wanted to get some flowers for my bf’s mom so I told Katie her fave color (purple), what flower she likes (orchids) & my price range and Katie went off and did her magic — including a trip to her «secret garden». How amazing is it that they grow their own flowers/​plants in the lots surrounding the shop?! I was in & out within 5 minutes. I’m definitely coming back. :)

I went here for my first date to get flowers and the arrangement was so well put together that I ended the day being in a relationship this place has been in business for over 23 years and I am amazed with their treatment they are the best place to go for your loved one on valentines day or anniversary I highly recommend this florist.

I have used Wild Orchid three times now and feel 100% confident giving them 5+ stars!!! I did not use the website as they were a referral from a friend. I simply called and let them know I needed a birthday arrangement for $ 40. My friend loved the arrangement sooo much that she immediately called me to thank me. She sent me a picture text and the flowers even exceeded my own expectations! I used Wild Orchid again a few weeks later to pick up an arrangement for my friend who just gave birth. Of all the flower arrangements in the room, The ones from me stood out and got the most compliments. They were absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t believe it when I was at their house over a week later and the flowers still looked brand new! Wild Orchid has Great Quality and stand-​out arrangements that get remembered.

I know the owner. He has created beautiful designs for weddings and special occasions. He will create custom designs and has done so upon special request, especially for funerals. He is fairly priced, too. I have seen some old posts claiming awful designs, poor service, and ‘yelling.’ I have never seen any of these characteristics from the owner nor any of his employees.

Katherine (one of the designers at the company) is one of the most talented designers I’ve ever met. Her work is beautiful and interesting and she always aims to please! She has made me an arrangement for a friends mother who passed away. I didn’t know flowers could speak but they really seemed to convey my condolences and an appreciation for how precious life is. She also provided arrangements for the rooms at a salon I used to work at. The arrangements were always so modern and interesting and elegant– the clients always commented on them and asked for a business card. She is now making me an arrangement for my room at my current salon and I just can’t wait to see it! I plan on incorporating her work in every area I decorate (I decorate for friends/​family on the side) as they are such pleasant little statements. So thanks Katie and Wild Orchid!

I have organized many large social events with flowers, and I still cannot believe what an amazing job Wld Orchid did for me! I can not tell you how many compliments we received. I even gave his number to about 10 out of town friends so that they could directly send flowers, and not a single person had a complaint, nor did anything get lost. Spectacular work!

Awful. I ordered flowers for a funeral and when I spoke to the family I was told they never received the flowers or the card. When I spoke with the shop they told me they remember delivering them. I said that the family did not get them and it was their responsibility since I hired them to ensure that the family received the flowers.
After 2 phone calls the man I had been speaking with repeatedly yelled at me and told me I didn’t understand business. I told him since they didn’t complete the service I paid $ 75 for I wanted my money back. He said they would but that has been a week, he said this as he was yelling at me. I am now disputing the charge w/​my credit card company.
p. s. He wanted me to give him the name/​number of the family that had a member die so he could call them to prove I wasn’t lying. Wow. Nutty.

This is the best floral service in San Diego. I ordered arrangements from them for work and all I had to do was call them and give them a description of what I wanted over the phone, what price range and they would cook it up and deliver. I never saw anything they made that wasn’t short of gorgeous. As a giver and a recipient of arrangements from them, I was always pleased with their work.
