This is the best chipotle location, because of the people who work here. They must see hundreds of people. a day, but they know my order and always make me feel like I’m coming to a neighborhood place. It makes a difference!

I like eating in chipotle because their food is very nutritious and of low calories. Every time I go, I become more satisfied. Thanks Chipotle

I should of left as soon as I heard the loud elevator music playing. My burrito was ice cold. The rice was hard and chewy no lime very little cilantro. Paid over 11 dollars for a nasty ice cold burrito. Go to the taco trucks pay 5 bucks and get a burrito.

I got an unexpected nice surprise from all places: a chain restaurant! The Chipotle manager gave me a free burrito! Made my day :). I didn’t have any complaints and was ready to pay when I got a free one. Besides the nice staff, the food always look fresh.

My husband and I are vegan. We used to come here occasionally to get a sofritas(soy) burrito when we didn’t feel like cooking. Last night my husband worked late and got a burrito on his way home, and ate it without really looking at it. He saved me a small piece, which I started eating this morning until I noticed that Chipotle had also put CHICKEN in the burrito. I am very disappointed in their lack of attention to detail and will not be coming back.

Seriously the worst chipotle Ever!!! I asked the lady that was taking my order of she’d could get another batch of lettuce because the one they had out looked very old and yellow. She was very rude and said no that was all they had. Really! How is that all you have when that batch was almost out!!! The burrito was so gross it didn’t taste nothing like any chipotle I’ve had in the past. The rice was horrible the chicken tasted so wierd that now I’m starting to believe that wasn’t chicken. Fajitas were old and tasted really sour. NEVERAGAIN. If you really want chipotle drive to Pinole location!

There’s nothing really special about this location… just the typical Chipotle experience. Ordered the steak burrito for lunch today and service was quick(the line was short). It’s true that you get more food when ordering a bowl. The person in front of me ordered a bowl and was given two scoops of meat while I was given only one small scoop. The steak and rice were both undercooked which made eating the burrito quite a challenging experience. One of the ladies at the counter was nice enough to cut the burrito in half for me when asked. One of the stars is for the nice shaded outdoor seating area and lots of Tabasco sauce bottles to choose from. Come here only if you’re in a hurry and need a quick bite to eat.

These people don’t know there burrito bowls from their burrito. their job was supposed to give me a flipping burrito bowl when asked for it 3 times… They assured me it was a burrito bowl. But it wasn’t. So much for having faith in the workers attention to detail. I didn’t really have hopes for this place my only hope was that they get my order right but when they didn’t it was like a big«FUCKYOU» to my face. I was nonchalant and took the food that they asked me. They assured me that it was a burrito bowl and I just took it. This situation could’ve been a lot worse if someone had hopes for this place. The moral of this story is to not consider this place and that you can’t always rely on workers sometimes you have to sound harsh to get the food you want… Props to New York for being real. Anti-props for the dumbasses that don’t study there menu

This chipotle is the worst! Can’t believe I was even excited about this location when it first opened near by. The presentation of the ingredients is horrible, not to mention that they’re out of half the stuff. The line is long and by the time I get to the end of the line my food is cold! The staff couldn’t be bothered and they simply don’t care. Much rather drive down to the gilman location. The Payless was better than the chipotle. I’ve given this place a try few times and been very disappointed each time.

I love chipotle but this one is on the bottom of my list. The girls are very stingy with there scooping and they always run out of chicken when I’m there at around 11:30am. 1 out of 5 times I have to wait for them to cook the chicken. And when I ask for a chicken burrito to go, don’t ask me if it’s for here or to go and what meat I want. It gets frustrating when I have to repeat it every time I go to this chipotle. And WRAPBETTER! Please wrap my burrito well just once, I don’t order a ton of crap so there is no excuse.

I want to post this for everyone to be careful of this location. My girlfriend is currently driving me to ER due to red inflamed spots EVERYWHERE which popped up after two hours of eating their not burrito bowl. The guacamole was not green, more like dark brown. I had the chicken bowl but inside that was a chunk of unknown meat. Two hours later my body started itching like crazy. I will figure out what was eaten and contact the corporation,

Unfortunately, this was my first bad Chipotle experience. My wife ordered our food well ahead of time online. When she arrived, they hadn’t followed the instructions and failed to set aside guacamole and salsa. She asked them to do that, which they did, then paid for our meal. Upon arriving home, her double meat(sofritas and chicken) was no where to be found. She had a few pieces of chicken and nothing else. Of course, we were charged full price for a meal we didn’t get. Very frustrating. We’ll be doing business elsewhere in the future.

Don’t frequent this chipotle! Really wish I would’ve made the drive to Pinole because my bowl tonight was super disappointing. Rice was hard, put way too much sour cream but skimped on salsa and chicken. I will not be back here again. Slow service, skimping on ingredients, poorly prepared ingredients(come on hard rice really!), employees that are unfriendly and inattentive, and a small parking lot to top it off. Chipotle, I look forward to a certain product when I enter you stores and this location falls way short of my expectations. Please make sure you have the resources to open up a quality restaurant instead of allowing poor products to cross over into your customers’ hands.

I’ve not had a bad experience here yet so I don’t know where all the bad reviews are coming from. I just don’t like to come here during the lunch rush hour because of the line. But I usually eat late anyway so by the time 2 pm rolls around for my lunch hour, things have died down.

The worst Chipotle i’ve ever tried to frequent. Been twice and had to leave both times after waiting in line. First time, they were out of chicken. This time, out of white rice. They provide no notice and try to rush you through the line. It’s not OK that the other part of my order gets cold because you are out of an ingredient — not for a $ 10 burrito. Though I live 6 blocks from this location I will get in car and drive to Gilman. They need to bring that manager over to retrain the staff.

This place is not your average chipotle. Let me tell you why. Normally everyone and their mom can be found at any chipotle location at lunch and during the weekends so if you want to avoid the lines, I would highly recommend ordering online! I almost always do and it is so much easier and quicker. I placed my order online and it was ready in 15 minutes. Keep in mind that this was my first time at this specific location and the only thing that was terrible was the parking! There is parking behind chipotle but sort of a drag when you are there to just quickly pick up your order which takes less than 5 minutes to do so. Anyway, I walked up straight to the register and told me that my order was on its way up. The lady(who was not the cashier) handed me my order and my water. She greeted me with a smile and wished me a good day. 5 stars for customer service! Anyway, I paid for my order and was on my marry way. The food was BOMB(as always) and the taste was fresh. Loved every bite of it! Here is the best and unexpected part: I later got a missed called(about an hour or so) from chipotle and they even left me a voicemail! It was the same lady who gave me my food. The voicemail said, «my name is Maria and I am calling from chipotle and I just wanted to see how your lunch was today, I see that you are unavailable but am leaving you a voicemail. If you would like to call us back with your opinions or comments please do and thanks for choosing chipotle.» Holy cow! Never had ANY restaurant, much less a fast food place call me to ask how MY food was! Now that’s why I call customer service. I was very impressed because I have ordered plenty times before and never once did I get a call. Maybe it was a one time thing who knows but it really made my day. Thanks again Maria! :)

Dear El Cerrito Chipotle, Two years ago I had a terrifying experience with both the food and one of your employees. I avoided you like the plague thereafter. I started going back a couple weeks ago, and it seems like things got a lot better! …until TODAY. oh how I wanted to grow our rekindled relationship! When I was at the start of your burrito-licious assembly line, I had 3 people behind me, so let’s not pretend you were packed or in chaos. First step, I received about half a cup of white rice… really?! but no worries… Then you broke our relationship(to be fair, one of your less than pleasant employees did) — I asked if there was any steak left. Your employee of the month decided for me that I wanted steak. I love steak and that would’ve been fine… if your employee didn’t try to starve me. You know there’s not enough meat if you automatically see that there’s about 7 tiny PIECESOFSTEAK in your bowl. I assumed there wasn’t much left, so I asked if I could have some chicken then. I’d gladly pay the steak price to get the same amount of meat as everyone else had gotten. But no… your employee told me that I’d have to pay extra. I told her that that didn’t seem like I had much meat in my bowl. I tip-toed(short people problems) to see how much was left of the steak. I saw less than 8 pieces left… she then gave me a couple more and left about 3 pieces in the container… AREYOUKIDDINGME?! what were you going to do with those 3 pieces? throw them away?(wasteful!) recook them?(yes, so fresh!) offer them as the«steak» option at full price for the next unsuspecting victim?(ugh! just ugh!) I’m sorry, but the only time I will come back is when this employee is not working. But, realistically… I don’t think I’ll be coming back to you anytime soon.

Thursday night into Chipotle with my friend. Parking here is a bit tough though, so we parked in another parking lot not too far away. Chipotle is the same everywhere as any other one. Guacamole is always a win though. I do find the food okay. Clean on the inside with good seating. There is also bike parking in front of the place too!

This used to be a payless shoes. When they announced chipotle was coming i thought«Finally a chipotle that’s within walking distance of where I live!». It gets pretty busy during dinner time so if you’re driving you may have to park outside of the lot. The parking lot is tiny. holds about 15 cars only. A good idea is to park in the plaza across the street and walk over. 3 stars because its pretty small and parking is horrendous. Lines are always long and sometimes you have to wait for them to refill certain items.

I’ve now patronized twice, with the most recent visit being this afternoon. Clean, very modern and comforting space that takes over the former Payless Shoe Source space. moves by fast, and pretty well managed location. I’d much rather come here than the much busier, much longer lined one on Gilman near Walgreen’s. Outside seating available as well! across the street from EC Plaza. Love getting Peets, Chipotle’s, and my nails done, all on the same block.
