Oh my gosh, only one review??? I’m shocked! These guys are an institution to me. I am so glad that they exist. They’re probably the reason I managed to survive those angsty teenage years. At their old Durant location, I would spend hours there sitting on a cushion lost in a book playing with one of the cats. OCOH tenaciously keeps on hanging on. They’ve yet again, paid off their back rent, and live to see another month. Please come out and get some great science fiction or fantasy or mystery or some horror. There’s stuff for your tweens and teens too. At this point they haven’t even fully unpacked yet, so the marvels are stil yet to come!

I popped by during their «soft» opening today. (4 – 7 PM) Can’t tell you what their regular hours will be once all of the books are unpacked. As I looked around, it knew it was going to be a wonderful addition to the neighborhood… close enough to Del Norte BART to walk over. A parking lot for those who drive. The new Safeway a block away…
