Can’t say enough about the skill set of Micah’s employees taking down a huge 100 ft eucalyptus tree near hour home and septic tank. The price was very competitive as well. The extra work by taking down a few small trees and some pre-​existing stumps was much appreciated. I’d definitely recommend Tailored trees and will have them back for a few more trees on the property.

Micah and his team (Scot and Josh) were great. Very reasonably priced and super professional. They did a fantastic job. We will definitely use them again. I highly recommend them.

Top Notch. I talked with Micah, texted pictures of my fallen tree, which landed on the second story of my neighbors house and got a quote. They came out the same day and were on time. They did an amazing job by not allowing the tree to cause even more damage on the way down from my neighbors house, including the fence. Then they cleaned everything up. There were very pleasant to deal with and knew what they were doing. They are well priced and I will definitely be using them in the future.

They were the most responsive of anyone we spoke with when it came to estimates. The guy that came out (Scot) was very knowledgeable with an Arborist degree (being an Ohio State fan it was not a plus he got it from Michigan State I believe) :). They were easy to schedule and I hired the whole crew for a whole day. They were organized, effective and cleaned up completely. My only comment might be to define «the day». Normally arriving at 8am (more like 8:30 for me) and kind of packed up at 3:30…but stayed until 4pm because I asked. A minor thing that doesn’t affect my star rating but might for others who are clock watchers. I’d be happy recommending Micah and his team. I found them via JPC Landscaping, Paul Campbell.

I recently used Tailored Tree Service to remove a tree from my property. I called them and they worked me into their schedule within a week and completed the job. They left no mess (brush, saw dust, leaves, etc) on my property.
In addition, Micah honored a $ 50 coupon that Unilocal was advertising for Tailored Tree Service even though Unilocal had posted the coupon without the companies consent.

Tailored tree gave me the best quote out of 4 tree companies on trimming down my tree. Scot and Micah responded my call and arrange the appointment in timely manner. I would definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

Recently I had Tailored Tree perform some pruning work on six queen palms in my backyard. The pruning I required was more difficult due to nearby power wires and the proximity to a swimming pool. The first attempt at the pruning was nice but not exactly how I wanted it. I called Micah and discussed the job and he sent the crew back out to get it exactly the way I wanted. I appreciated that Mike stayed engaged with me until I was satisfied. Also, the foreman for the crew, Felix, is a very professional and he runs an excellent crew. I was very satisfied with the final result and I highly recommend Tailored Tree. Five Stars.

I will start by saying this is one of the only companies that i could get to pick up the phone today (Saturday). When i called and explained my unusual emergency to Micah Smith he was so helpful! My cat (my baby) had somehow gotten out last night and was chased up a tree. He was around 50′ high prior to calling the fire department (the fire department thought maybe trying to spray water at him would make him come down ?? instead he went another 10′ up! Micah first told me that he had a crew in the area that included a climber and that he would see if they could come after they were done with their current job then proceeded to text me the contact information for two other organizations that might be able to assist. Both my husband and i were frantic as we could visibly see the distress in our buddy (sweating and hyperventilating) Tailored Tree Service showed up earlier than expected with a group of just amazing guys. The climber shimmied up the tree like he was walking a straight line all the while talking softly to my cat. The climber was mindful enough to ask his name and used it repetitively through out the climb to keep him from jumping (mind you that my cat is not friendly and hissed at the firefighters). The climber got close enough to secure his spot and talked to my cat and then was able to pick him up, place him in a sack and lower him down to me on a rope! Needless to say I LOVE THIS COMPANY!!! I will be referring them to anyone and everyone! Oh Did I mention they did this for free!!!

I’ve known the owner of Tailored Tree, Micah Smith, for the past eight years and I can honestly tell you, that I’ve never referred anyone to anybody else. He is so personable, so professional, with such reasonable rates, that his company is a fantastic choice for any arboreal need. I’ve personally witnessed his work throughout my community in El Dorado Hills as he and his company do most the work for the local community district and it is nice knowing that Our Trees are in such good hands!
