Meet the Business Owner

Matt B.

Business Owner

My name is Matt Bowen. I own and operate Prep Concrete and Construction. My life in construction first started at a very young age, learning from my dad and grandpa in their woodworking shops. I learned the art of fine woodworking skills and attention to detail. I have always had a passion for artistic works of art, whether it was making a piece of furniture or creating a custom design. In 2003, I started a small construction company serving Sacramento and El Dorado counties with general construction and decorative concrete. In 2007, I knew that there was so much more that I could do with concrete. Since starting Prep, I have been committed to finding new ways of transforming plain grey concrete into something one of a kind and custom. My passion for restoration, has been my perfect recipe for success in my business. I love seeing something old or plain transform into something eye catching yet functional. –Matt
