I contacted Nate Burr of Turn Key Custom is the fall of 2013. He had been referred to me my an electrician whom I had used personally and also had done work for me professionally who I trusted explicitly. When I inquired about a small contractor to do my kitchen remodel, he only gave me one name and that was Nate Burr.
Nate and I met and had instant report. After reviewing my plans, he recommended that I contact a kitchen designer (there was no charge to me) to come and look over the current plans that I had, measure the kitchen and work with me regarding the cabinets.
That recommendation alone was worth its weight is gold. She was a previous graphic design artist, had a great eye for layout and took my previous design and really created a new focal point. She and Nate were both very cognizant of my budget and worked within it.
He accompanied me to the pick out the granite and again, helped me stay within budget when my wandering eye wavered.
We demo’d the second week of January 2014… all the way down to the studs. He has a small group of subs that work with him on a regular basis. Again, something else that made him a good fit for my project as I would not be home most of the time and the less people in and out of my home the better.
All of them were great, very respectful of my space and also very respectful of my time, never entering the house prior to the agreed upon start time. The job site was left clean every day.
Being in a condo complex, all permits were pulled and because of those, we had a few challenges. He found creative ways to solve every one of them, yet stay within code.
I was back operational February 21, 2014. There were still punch list items, but he kept his team on schedule and we completed the project on time and on budget. 5 weeks from demo to being able to use the kitchen again.
Would I hire him again? You bet. I have additional projects (bathrooms, etc.) that I will tackle over the next coming years and the good news is I won’t have to look for a great contractor, I have one.

Nathan Burr from Turn Key Custom did an excellent job grinding down uneven concrete to tile my Arts and Crafts front porch with gorgeous Italian stone, adding matching windows to the original ones, and framing a new custom front door to make a beautiful enclosed sun room.
He helped me every step of the way selecting quality materials, cleaning up after himself daily, completing each task in a timely manor, and communicating well throughout the project. I would highly recommend this company for your remodeling projects. Julie M.

I turned to Nate when I needed some work done on my stairs and under my house. I am VERY particular about work done and I make my expectations clear from the outset. More than once, with other contractors, my expectations have not been met. Not so with Nate and his employees. Nate’s work was within expected budget, on time and was exceptional in quality. His peeps could not have been more pleasant, and the outcome could not have been better.

I contracted with Turn Key Custom to do some major dry rot repair on my property. Nate, the owner, came to my house to check it out, provided a timely quote and was responsive to my calls & questions. The workers arrived on time, kept the work area safe and alerted me to anything unusual or that might need more work than we originally anticipated. The work area was at the front of my house and I was pleased to find they took great effort to leave it clean at the end of each day. All work was done professionally with highly skilled workers. Communication with the Turn Key crew was very easy and upon completion, Turnkey Construction provided a well-​organized final invoice that needed no guesswork on my part. I was very happy with the work and would hire Turn Key for future projects of any size.

I have employed Nate of Turn Key Custom on two occasions and been extremely pleased with his work. He remodeled my kitchen and it is beautiful, just what I wanted. His attention to detail is what really stands out and the fact that he listens to your concerns and then addresses them. He also built a deck for me that was wonderful. His prices are very reasonable, esp. considering all the years of experience he has had! He is always dependable and on time and both projects were finished when he estimated they would be! That is unheard of!

Nate is really a great contractor. He remodeled our decks and will be doing more on our house (painting contractor, bathroom remodel etc) he has been extremely involved in all aspects, helping us along the way and has been totally honest about all costs and problems.
I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone and look to him for any referrals. His immediate crew is very courteous as well and are always on time and polite which is important when someone is remodeling your home, right? You always know when someone is outside your window hammering but they made it as painless as possible.
