Albert’s Towing Service

I have known Joe Albert for the last three years and prior to Albert’s tow moving to their present location on Exline which was a crime infested area, prostitution, drugs and tagging. Joe and his employees cleaned the area up and made it safe again for the local residences to enjoy for the first time in many years.
I have read these comments from other people on this site and know them to be made up and false. Joe Albert and his employees are god fearing hard working people that have contributed to the betterment of the community.
The ones here complaining refuse to tell the truth of what really happened.
Albert’s Tow was contracted to tow cars that were using Auto Zone’s and 99 cents parking lots illegally. To avoid paying five dollars for parking at the courthouse while conducting court’s business they would rather park for free and disrupt the local business’s ability to furnish parking for their customers. Albert’s Tow would only respond if called about a selfish self serving person would park illegally.
In the video the employee did lose his cool and he regrets that, in his thirty years in the tow business he has only been helpful to those in need and has gone out of his way to help people out.
I know these gentlemen personally and also am a business owner in El Monte and I am extremely concerned how people that have no idea what they are talking about can go online and make any lie that’s suits them and then can hide behind the internet.
My business has been broken into numerous times, trucks stolen and even my security cameras were stolen. All of my trucks have been tagged numerous time and I continue to stay here and try to make the community better and one of the main reasons is people like Joe Albert that have been putting up a good fight for many years to make the community a safer place.
The people that have posted about Albert’s Tow have an agenda and seem willing to make up lies to move their personal agenda forward. You drive out people like Joe Albert and myself and you might as well let the gangs come and take over.
We fight for a better city everyday while the activist just don’t want any rules and to be able to do as they please.

Albert’s Towing tows cars illegally.
The owner, Joe Albert, is a racist. When approached about his fallacious and illegal towing, he simply yells racial slurs. The workers and drivers are active dope users and felons.
The workers are felons, active dope fiends, and active criminals, stealing cars in El Monte, illegally.
–One of the thugs stole my phone while I was filming him unlawfully towing cars. (AKA stealing cars). He also hit, and pushed me. He now faces charges in criminal court.
They do not follow the regulations and codes set forth in the vehicle codes:
You can’t just go around towing cars away. There are laws that protect people from getting their car towed illegally. These ignorant, reckless people are only profit and money driven, and will fail.
They are in direct VIOLATION of so many vehicle codes.
For starters:
–They only accept cash (illegal).
–Their sign postage is insufficient, based on the vehicle codes. They do not post them at each entrance, do not post their number or towing agency information on signs (illegal).
–They tow cars, like bullies, while the registered owner of the vehicle is present.
They open whenever they feel like it. (illegal) And charge whatever they want (illegal).
THEY VIOLATE SO MANY VIOLATIONS, AND WILL SOON SHUT DOWN IF THEY CONTINUE.
They are contracted with the city. The city has recognizes some of these fallacies and have taken some action. The will be shut down if they continue their illegal practices.

Doesn’t he know its ILLEGAL to do that? California has tough laws to protect consumers from unfair practices by towing companies.
[Towing without authorization] It’s illegal to tow a car from any private property without the written authorization of the property owner (or representative), who must also be present at the time of the towing. This means that even if someone parks in a «tow away» zone, their car can’t be towed unless an employee of the business specifically requests the tow and is present at the time. So, for example, during off-​hours a car cannot be towed from a private business lot unless someone from the business is there and asks for the tow. (Calif. Vehicle Code § 22658(L)(1).)
They need to report him to the Department of Consumer Affairs.

This piece of dog S**** Company is the most corrupt company in this city along with the Police Department. They have always been corrupt and always will be. El Monte Residents should be scared to park anywhere. This is how the city makes their money. Innocent victims are always the first they get. Albert’s Towing is serioulsy a no good place.
