Nice local joint in El Monte that serves Chicago deep dish AND Hawaiian BBQ. What a combo. Can’t think any other places like this. And this place actually is really good… Giving it 5 stars since they were so generous with their cheese portions and toppings. Excellent. Give it a try… You’ll be pleasantly surprised like I was.

I ordered spam musubi and all I got was a sliver of spam and all rice. Really? You might as well call it rice musubi. I guess I’m just used to actually having a spam in my musubi.

Ordered delivery which consisted of Chicago style pizza with pepperoni, beef BBQ plate, and a strawberry banana smoothie with jelly. Everything was delicious and they got here in less than the advertised time. Definitely will be ordering again.

I’m hooked on their pizza. It was seriously delicious. I’ve lived down the street from this place for a very long time and I’ve never set foot inside. The place itself could use some re-decorating and they could stand to lower their prices a little but whatever — I will definitely be coming back for more :)

This place is just down the street and I’ve been wanting to eat in instead of having take out brought home. I thought it was just a pizza place but their front counter had so much Hawaiian food posters displayed and all looked very good. I got their Atkin’s combo platter and it was just $ 7.95! It came with bbq shredded pork, 2 large pieces of chicken, thin sliced beef and a small order of a garden salad. It was stacked and plate was packed with food. Such a good deal. It was a bit on the saltier side for my taste buds so next time I will ask them to take the sauces a few notches down. Interior is not fancy nor is it appealing, but who cares? I’m not sure what it was before, but it looked like a donut shop prior to this. Parking isn’t bad. They also have a wide variety of drinks. We ordered boba milk tea and it wasn’t bad at all. They also have slushes and tea drinks as well(a smaller bubble tea menu). I haven’t tried their bowls yet but they are just $ 3.95! Staff was great and nice. Close to home and good on the wallet!

Normally don’t review much but the house special chicken and bbq beef was better than L&L, Ono, etc. the ingredients were fresh and I was impressed with the quality. Great spot. Can’t wait to try the pizza.

I am reviewing this place based on my overall experience the day I went. To start off, the place is very tiny, but big enough to fit in at least two more tables. They only have four tables for four people each, two of those tables can be rearranged to form a longer table to sit 8 people. I went with a party of 7. We were welcomed by a loud burp from a group of kids(ages 10 to 14 max) who had already taken those two tables that can be joined together, so we had to sit separately. I can deal with that, they got there first. What I can’t deal with is that about halfway through waiting for our order, those kids started fighting in there, literally wrestling! In a playful way, but it was very annoying to see them run around, pulling chairs, pushing tables, dropping on the floor and screaming their lungs out. In other words, WWE has nothing on these kids. I get it, I was a kid once too, but to see that the employees saw this and did nothing about it, was too much. We got our food about 20 minutes after ordering, we ordered chicken wings(12 for $ 10), potatoes(mojo style but not as good) and Chicago style pizza, which was actually good. Our total was around $ 45. It was enough food for all 7 of us(3 kids, 4 adults). Besides the wrestling match, the other thing I didn’t like was that they didn’t have many options other than what we ordered for a family to share, everything else was individual servings based on what the guy told me. There are no family packs. Also, tables were not clean, we had to go get some napkins(yeah, napkins are in the front counter) and clean it ourselves. Ah! One more thing, there was only one crushed pepper and one cheese container for ALL tables to share. I guess I would give this place 4 stars based on the pizza and only the pizza(potatoes and chicken wings were like whatever) if I would have ordered to go, and that’s the only way I would recommend this place. Definitely do not eat inside.

I ordered food from here for our luncheon. It did not disappoint, given that I’ve never had food here before! We ordered a large pizza, spam musubi tray, salad, antipasto salad, mix plates and drinks. The food portions were generous, and everything tasted delicious. We kept raving about the pizza! It’s sort of a stuffed pizza; we had mushrooms and sausage, and wouldn’t hesitate to order it again. Their drinks were good, too. I had a pistachio milk tea. Michael was very helpful over the phone and told me that he would let the manager know about my order and pick-up. I would recommend this place.

The service here is absolutely great, staff is friendly and service is quick. We got a deep dish pizza, which was very cheese and tasty. We also got the wings and antipasto salad. The wings have great flavor and salad is loaded. Can’t wait to try the other goodies on their menu.

Don’t judge this place for how it looks, or what area it is in, or who makes your food. This place is pure gold for the type of area it is in. Being skeptical about the hidden agenda of foods, I’ve only tried a few items and have been damn pleased.

Amazing food. Amazing service. Everything is so so good. Musabi, jalapeño shrimp, Chicago pizza, Thai ice tea, everything was just great. Highly recommend!

Yum! I ordered take-out last night and I was 100% satisfied. I order a small Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza with spinach, sausage, onions and mushrooms to-go. I also ordered a mango smoothie for me and an almond smoothie for my fiancé. Although a small, the pizza was more than enough for both of us. I even had 1 slice left over to bring for lunch today. The restaurant itself is pretty small. They have about 3 – 4 tables inside with 1 large flat screen TV. Their menu on the other hand is quite extensive ranging from Deep Dish Pizza to Hawaiian BBQ. They also have a variety of smoothies to choose from with and without boba. I’m not going to lie, I was a bit skeptical about the vast menu, but so far so good. I strongly recommend the Deep Dish Pizza. I will return in the near future to try some of their other items.

I really enjoy this hole in the wall place. It’s under new ownership now. They serve Italian food, Hawaiian food, and some other Asian influence type of food. You definitely cannot beat the price and how much food they give you. I work down the street and we order from here at least once a week. They also have good drink like honey green tea and what not.

Get ready for an amazing pizza and Hawaiian food place! We came here for a deep dish pizza and we got some spam on the side. Pizza was amazing super cheesy ! As soon as you pull the pizza you have 12 inches of stretch before you get it off tastes amazing For the spam mmmmmmusubi it had the spam then rice layers(i am used to rice spam rice) and it had this awesome sauce i usually like the spam from Shakas but this spam was delicious too!!! Nom nom nom. Staff was amazing very kind, probably college students Only thing that threw me off was the name. On a new sign sticking off the building it says The One and on the end of the building it says Mr Pizza and Pasta so i am not sure what their name is.(i will also leave this same review under that Unilocal name.) If you are looking for a nice place for take out in El monte come here We will definitely come back.

I was craving a bit of pizza when I heard that this place had Chicago style pizza. Not having ordered from here in a very long while I decided to go a little hard in the paint with one medium Chicago style pizza, a normal medium pizza and some buffalo wings just for myself. After calming down my inner fat kid and ignoring any of the specials they had and spending around $ 40, I waited patiently for the pizza to arrive. Didn’t take as long as I expected, they estimated around 30 – 40 minutes but it felt less than that. I always have a preference to supporting more local businesses and this place is a great spot for local pizza. The cheese on the Chicago pizza had that attractive pull and stretch that you often see in television or cartoons that I haven’t really seen in a long time. The cheese in the crust as well was amazing. The normal medium sized pizza didn’t have that impressiveness as the other pizza but was good nonetheless, though maybe it’s due to being compared to the super cheesy Chicago pizza, but it felt a little bland. The wings were surprisingly large and had lots of meat on it. The spicy hot wings weren’t really all that hot but quite good buffalo wings. All in all I like this place and will likely order from them again when I feel like being a glutton.

The pizza and buffalo wings are the best in town! Better than petrillos and any other pizzas I have tried in LA. Should definitely try out the spam musubi and boba milk tea(bogo)too. Definitely will come back, thanks THEONE
