While our security personnel do not carry firearms, they are equipped with the latest technology to satisfy your needs.

Our guards log more than 15,000 hours a week serving a diverse customer base representing homebuilders, commercial construction sites, office buildings, light industrial businesses, government facilities, highway construction projects, schools, resorts, retail facilities, gated communities, healthcare facilities, automobile dealerships, shopping malls, warehouses, financial institutions, transportation, parking facilities and other commercial endeavors.

We feature digital cellular phones, motorized transportation, cameras, night vision goggles, body wands and magnetometers. As an added benefit, our security personnel fill out daily activity reports to memorialize daily operations for client records. Incident reports also are provided to clients to record out-​of-​the-​ordinary occurrences.

History

Established in 1993.

Since its founding in 1993, Blackstone Security Services, Inc. has become known as one of the security industry’s premier forces in the Southwest, celebrating 20 years of delivering quality service in 2013. The previous year, Blackstone was awarded the 2012 Business Ethics Award by the Greater Arizona Better Business Bureau, taking the trophy in the largest category in a competition with more than 300 entries, including large national companies. Blackstone is still the only private security company to be so recognized by the BBB. Blackstone added another jewel to its crown when it reached semifinalist status for the prestigious Spirit of Enterprise Award given by the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 2012 and 2013. The only private security companies to reach achieve that honor. A third jewel was added when Blackstone was recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the 5000, fastest-​growing private companies in the nation in 2013 and 2014.

Business Owner

Dan Swindall is the founding President & CEO of Blackstone Security Services, Inc., an award-​winning security guard company headquartered in Phoenix, Ariz., with 8 offices in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Blackstone provides unarmed security services to clients from school districts to government agencies to private business. Dan is Chair of the Arizona Private Security Professionals’ Association and a member of the Arizona Department of Public Safety’s Private Investigator/​Security Guard Review Board. Blackstone became the only security company to win the Arizona Better Business Bureau’s Business Ethics Award in 2012. Blackstone twice was a semifinalist for the Spirit of Enterprise Award from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business and twice made Inc. Magazine’s list of the nation’s 5000 fastest growing companies. Blackstone also received Inc. Magazine’s Hire Power Award as one of the nation’s top job creators. C-​Level Magazine named Dan its 2014 CEO of the Year.
