History
Established in 2013.
Hello Day Café opened it’s doors on February 14, 2013. Begun as an eatery for bands and concert-goers in the Tricky Falls /Bowie Feathers building, it quickly expanded to include breakfast and lunch hours for the downtown community. A collaboration between musician Jim Ward, audio engineer turned chef, Jose Cazares, and videographer turned chef, Hector Saenz, this shoebox restaurant embodies the results of their world travels & experiences. This is evident from the cuisine to the décor to the vibe.
With a seasonally changing menu, chef Jose is able to utilize local produce, dairy & proteins in a farm-to-table philosophy. From the Mountain View Co-op to Tucumcari cheeses to 4 Daughters Ranch, regional products make their way to your plate. Hello Day’s hope is to collaborate with more and more local farmers to expand the possibilities for everyone involved.
You’ll find HDC in downtown El Paso, just south of the Camino Real & Plaza Theater. Located in the same building as Tricky Falls.
