I came to this salon for the first time this past November while in town for Thanksgiving. I specifically asked for highlights and showed a picture, but ended up with an awkward golden brown color and the stylist did not even do highlights. I called back and respectfully asked if we could work something out but they were very uncooperative to say the least.

First time client and let’s just say I was impressed! I was impressed with the setting, the cleanliness of the environment, the prices, and the staff. I came in for a neck length angled bob and it came out even better than what I expected. I was concerned because I had a previous undercut that I had been growing out but she blended it so neatly it looks impressive. My hair stylists name is Beth, she did an excellent job taking care of me and my mom. Although I will say they were busy, but she definitely took her time and was very friendly. She asked questions about how we wanted our hair and took into account what we wanted. ALL I can say is thank you so much BETH it was worth the wait, we had an awesome experience at SELAH and we definitely will be back!

Came in for wax today was very pleased with Carla! This is my 2^nd visit with her and she is awesome hand’s down. She is very professional, clean, and knowledgeable. Friendly environment. will definitely continue to see her. Now to find a stylist there! :-)

Negatives: the sketchy location and that all other services seem to be booked kinda far in advance (does not allow for the spontaneous, the «hey, this would be the perfect day for a ____(massage, body wrap, hair cut)».

I wanted to do something nice for my daughter so a friend recommend me here. I looked on Unilocal but wasn’t to many reviews. Their Facebook page has a lot more. So I met with Nate, he introduce him self and showed my daughter and I around. They do massages, nails, highlights, waxing, and hair styling. Also have a area to take pics. He asked what we wanted done on my daughters hair and it came out great. The staff is so friendly. They offer me free tea peach and raspberry. Multiple times, and was just very polite. Other customers are chatting with the workers. It feels like a nice atmosphere. Now I know women have this thing about where they go so if you need a change to you hair or nails I recommend you check them out. Ask for Nate or Yesenia! She’s awesome

I decided to suck it up and get my hair cut and styled by a professional. I will no longer settle for a $ 10 haircut with blunt ends and uneven layers. Here at Selah I was treated like a valued client, I was given a full tour upon my arrival. I’m amazed by how much they offer in this small facility and I noticed the massage area is secluded so it’s nice and quiet. My hair stylist was great, we had friendly casual conversation while she was cutting my hair (I hate going to get my haircut and the hair stylist is completely silent and awkward) and she did a beautiful job. She gave me gorgeous layers and blow dried it so it was silky and smooth with beautiful waves and it felt so much lighter. Perhaps next time I will ask about having my hair cut and colored, but I am picky so it’s baby steps for me. Pricing isn’t bad at all, it was $ 40 plus a tip which felt well worth it.
