I attended UCLA for both undergraduate and medical school. After medical school I went to Cedars-​Sinai Medical Center to complete my residency in Diagnostic Radiology, and then returned to UCLA for a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

In 1994 I left UCLA to become the first fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist at Kaiser Permanente in all of Southern California. During that time, I became an expert in the treatment of venous disease. I was the first physician at Kaiser Permanente to perform endovenous laser ablation, the Clarivein procedure, and ultrasound guided sclerotherapy for varicose vein disease. Over the years I have trained numerous physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease. In 2013 I left Kaiser Permanente to fulfill my dream of opening a private practice, offering superior vein care to all! As of 2015 we became one of the first centers in all Southern California to offer the VenaSeal treatment.

Dr. Rayman is one of the most caring and attentive doctors I have ever had. I’m so glad I used him for my vein problem. Easy to get to on Sepulveda in El Segundo, & they validate for parking. His staff is THE BEST! Somehow Dr. Rayman has trained them to remember names and faces, so you can’t help but feel welcome!!!

I am a sclerotherapy veteran of more than 20 years and I have a long history with vein specialists. I am now adding Dr. Rayman to my shortlist of favorites along with his excellent staff. My husband also had sclerotherapy here for varicose and spider veins and the results are first-​rate. I am impressed as well, by the up-​to-​date technology available in Dr. Rayman’s office and that the cost of treatment is in line with other cosmetic surgeons. I highly recommend.

What an amazing office! Professional, friendly, efficient and my list of compliments go on and on. I have been suffering from spider and vericose veins for over 25 years. No treatment ever worked. They would always come back and I would spend more and more money getting rid of them. Not to mention the pain factor and wearing those tight compression hose! What I finally found out from Dr. Rayman is there were underlying veins that he saw with an ultrasound that needed to be treated to resolve the problem. All my wasted time and money solved in the first visit! The treatments were the almost painless. The staff was so accomodating and played my favorite music during the proceedure. I am so grateful to be able to wear shorts and skirts again after hiding for so long. Thank you all again for letting me get my legs ready for my honeymoon!!!

I received sclerotherapy on my legs this past summer. They say it takes a while to see compete results so I waited about 6 months to write the review to be fair. The three stars are ultimately for the friendliness of the staff and not the procedure itself – as I had less than desirable results. I am in my 20s and had wanted to seek treatment for awhile – I have a few spider veins but my problem is mostly reticular veins. I first went and did the consultation.
The doctor asked me about my concerns and answered my questions. After the consultation I was ushered into another room to speak with a staff member about scheduling another appointment and was told the costs of the procedure. I did feel rushed and pressured to immediately to make the appointment for the procedure. Nevertheless, I went for my procedure about three weeks later. The doctor and his assistant were friendly and tried to make me comfortable – they play music.
All in all the doctor spent less than 10 minutes on me – which was very disappointing. I felt rushed and frustrated especially since with the amount I paid, the same treatment at other offices for the price typically gets you 20 minutes. I was also skeptical that I didn’t receive foam sclerotherapy on my reticular veins since other doctors I had consulted wanted to use this treatment.
This office had said I would need 2 regular sclerotherapy procedures to get optimum results. I didn’t really understand if this was a business maneuver since getting those two versus just one foam was cheaper. This wasn’t really addressed. After I took my stocking off (week later) I noticed bruising and was also a little sore but that’s normal. I noticed darkness in a couple of the treated veins.
My follow up appointment was moved up. I apparently had a couple blood clots. The doctor discussed my options with me and it was ultimately decided to let them be since treating them could have undesirable aesthetic results. Honestly 6 months later after the procedure, my veins don’t look that much different. I did get a couple more spider veins. Also the injection sites are dark and visible. I wasn’t satisfied with the outcome but ultimately I guess results vary amongst people.

I was very reluctant to seek treatment for a vein that I knew wasn’t functioning properly. But I finally pulled the trigger after finding Dr. Raymond. He is extremely knowledgable in his expertise and as someone who likes to research/​know how things work, he took the time to explain various procedures down to their minutiae. That set the tone and I immediately felt comfortable scheduling my procedure.
The front office staff he curated is the best. From scheduling to insurance approvals, everything was a breeze. Also, it’s clear that everyone genuinely likes working there. They laugh. They smile. There’s a general camaraderie amongst his staff. That says a lot.
The day of my procedure everything went smoothly. I experienced absolutely no pain. Truth be told, it was so relaxing, I nearly took a nap while Dr. Raymond performed his magic. As a side note, the nurse asks you what kind of music you like before your procedure starts. She’ll put whatever Pandora station on for you – so you really feel at ease. If you’re as lucky as I am, you may even get serenaded by Dr. Raymond.
Jokes aside, he really deserves 5 stars. Don’t hesitate to visit his practice. He’s worth all the great reviews!!!

I put this off for a long time as I did not realize how easy and relatively inexpensive the procedures would be. I am extremely satisfied with the results and with the professional and very caring manner every visit I had with Dr. Rayman and his staff.
The ugly very visible veins are completely gone with very little inconvenience or pain.
I had both Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and Sclerotherapy procedures done.
From start to finish it took less than a month to complete everything.
I would definitely highly recommend Dr. Rayman and his staff, if you are considering these procedures.

I had the worse varicose veins that bulged so badly they could be seen through my leggings. I saw an ad for a free consultation and decided to make an appointment. I arrived to a very lovely office with a pleasant young lady named Alex. Every aspect of my initial visit was professional and performed by a knowledgeable and caring staff. Then I met Dr. Rayman. What a wonderful doctor. He took the time to explain all of my options and made his recommendations. I decided to have him do my vein procedures. It took a while to complete all my procedures I had such horrible varicose veins. My insurance covered the main ones. What is left now is purely cosmetic. After the first procedure, the worst vein was no longer bulging through my leggings. It has been several months now and except for some bruising that is slowing going away, my legs look remarkably better. During the procedure, Dr. Rayman plays your favorite music so that you can relax. Then he had his team go to work. He explains what he is doing and the next thing you know you are done. I was so pleased with Dr. Rayman and his staff that I told another friend who is getting a lot or work done too. Dr. Rayman is a surgeon with years of experience dealing with veins. So he is a master and a teacher of these vein procedures. Truly a master and one that I will return to for my cosmetic vein work. Thank you to Dr. Rayman and his staff. BTW, his office manager is pretty amazing too What a great team of people.

My wife saw Dr. Rayman for some small spider veins that had been bothering her. I really didn’t see anything wrong with my wife’s legs, I think she has beautiful legs and you can’t even see any of the veins that she is complaining about, but my wife has microscopic eyes. First, the office is beautiful and the staff are super friendly. After consulting with Dr. Rayman, he informed my wife that she didn’t need anything done on her legs and if he did it would not be morally correct. Then when I was going to pay for the office visit, Dr. Rayman refused to accept the consultation fee. He said I did not do anything so I can’t take any money from you. It’s really not about the money, it’s about the principal of the matter. In Los Angeles, you can find many physicians who would love to take your money and do whatever you wish cosmetically whether it’s right or wrong. I appreciate Dr’ Rayman’s honesty. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an honest Vascular surgeon.

Dr. Rayman and his entire staff are caring and professional. Every care was taken to ensure my comfort, and every single person there was kind, caring and wonderful to be around. If I could give Dr. Rayman and his staff 10 stars if I could. i came here for my unsightly spider veins. I have received treatments from two doctors previously, which yielded zero results. I found Dr. Raman on Unilocal and this is why I’m writing my review – my first review ever. First, his staff is absolutely lovely. They are attentive and accommodating. Dr. Rayman himself is wonderful. He listens attentively to your concerns, takes his time to answer question and set up realistic expectations, and then modifies the treatment to fit your needs. After two (!) treatments, my spider veins are gone and I can wear a skirt for the first time in 8 years. I can’t recommend Dr. Rayman enough!

This was the best sclerotherapy treatment I ever had — and sadly for me, I’ve had lots of them. Ever since my 20s my legs have been prone to spider veins, and I have sclerotherapy every few years to keep them at bay. Dr. Rayman was great because he really took his time and seemed to care about doing a thorough job. And what really impressed me is how great my legs looked immediately afterwards. Usually they look bruised and kinda scary for several weeks afterwards, but honestly this time I could have worn shorts the next day and looked fine (except that the doc insists you wear compression stockings for a week, which supposedly helps with the results). Now my legs look better than they’ve looked since I was in college and I’m very happy!

YOUR SEARCH IS OVER! This review will be helpful to those who have delayed doing something about their varicose veins because of fear. If you are scared of needles, traumatized from past surgical procedures, and burdened by years of daily reminders of having painful, bothersome, and tired legs due to varicose veins, you do not need to worry anymore, nor do you need to suffer any longer from the physical and emotional pains that come with varicose veins thanks to Dr. Rayman and his exceptional medical practice.
A bit of background: I had surgery 8 years ago by a surgeon to address varicose veins in my right leg — a «real» surgery in a hospital operating room, with full general anesthesia. Not only were the surgery and its after effects painful and long lasting (including nerve damage), even more varicose veins started popping up about a couple years later. Due to that bad experience, I decided I would NEVER do anything about my varicose veins again, and that I was destined to live with the pain, discomfort, and ugliness.
Fast forward 8 years, and the discomfort/​pain, heaviness/​throbbing, etc. were really getting to be a daily issue. Even people were coming up to me asking if my legs were hurting, because they looked like they felt! So I decided to do my due diligence and started to do a lot of research online (medical conditions, procedures, and various doctors). Thanks to Unilocal,I found Dr. Rayman!
Being a bit gun shy, I called his office twice with tons of questions, and then proceeded to see him for TWO consultations (with my notepad full of questions). Each time, and with every interaction I had with him and his staff, I felt more and more at ease. Dr. Rayman showed me with the ultrasound exactly what my veins were doing and not doing. (And low and behold, the vein that was supposedly tied off 8 years ago was still there, bad as ever.) He and each one of his staff received me and my zillion questions with such respect, patience, compassion, and professionalism.
Three weeks after my consultations, I had my radiofrequency ablation (RFA) done! Dr. Rayman and his staff are great, but I think they are able to show their personal best when actually performing the procedure — during the procedure, there was wonderful bedside manner, nice music playing, excellent communication between doctor and patient and assistants, and obvious skill and confidence. Being embarrassingly afraid of needles, I must say it was really fine! I wanted to hug him when it was over, he was that great and showed that much care! I also appreciate his practical tips on how to distract myself when he was administering the numbing medication!
And considering it’s just 3 days after my procedure and I’ve already made my appointment for Dr. Rayman to do my left leg (same condition), you’ve got to know that I’m completely satisfied, comfortable, and grateful. I told him, «Dr. Rayman, thank you for doing what you do!!!»

I’ve been healthy for most of life. So, when it came to health care, I’ve heard too many stories of how impersonal the medical experience can be. Not here. When it came time to address the problems with my venal stasis ulcer and varicose veins,
I was filled with fear. But I had to face this challenge, and fate brought me here.
I was met with warmth and deep personal attention. Priceless. Thank you Dee Dee, Alex, and staff. And it got better from there. Dr. Rayman was a breath of fresh air.
His attention to addressing my physical ailment and mindfulness to soothing my mental concern was beyond being just professional: he spoke to me. Me.
He gave me his time to include me in knowing what was going on with my veins and
explaining how he could fix that.
His treatment was painless and full of care all the way through the procedure.
Oh, what did I say a little while ago? Yeah: priceless.

Dr Rayman is a caring, honest and highly trained, experienced professional who will take the time to explain the procedures and will follow up on every word he says. I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Mark Rayman. Following a procedure at another doctor’s office, I was in a great deal of pain. At this time, I was referred to the Vein & Laser Center. Even though this was a last minute call, Dr. Rayman made time to see me. He is an expert in the field of vein care, and he was able to determine that the pain was caused by a blood clot. He began treatment immediately. I was extremely apprehensive, but the doctor took time to answer all my questions, and keep me informed of each step of the treatment plan. The doctor and his staff are an incredible team of efficient, knowledgeable, and compassionate people. After my initial office visit, both Dr. Rayman and his clinical coordinator, Alex, called to check on me. This type of care and follow through is rarely found anywhere. I am deeply grateful to have Dr. Rayman treating me for this medical problem.

DR. RAYMAN IS THE MAN!!! I went in to meet Dr Rayman last December when his office had just opened. He spent so much time with me, explaining what led to the development varicose veins in my leg. He used incredible high-​tech equipment and went over all of my treatment options. On the day of my procedure he helped me remain calm and he had just the greatest bedside manner. His office staff is so friendly and they spent time reviewing all of my post-​treatment care. They also checked up on me later that day as well as the following day. My follow-​up appointments have been terrific and I’m so pleased with my results, especially since the cause of the veins has been fixed. Highly recommend Dr. Rayman for any and all vein related issues. Would definitely come back if needed.

It is so refreshing to go to a new doctor’s office and immediately feel like you are appreciated and welcomed. The office is immaculate, modern, and inviting. The staff are phenomenal. I’m in sales, and I believe everything boils down to your reputation, follow up, and delivering value.
Dr Rayman and his entire team excel at all of these attributes — and more. I was a little nervous about going in for my first visit, but Dr. Rayman spent a lot of time with me explaining the various options (and did NOT try to up-​sell me like so many try to do).

I highly recommend Dr. Rayman’s office. After my consultation with Dr. Rayman on how to treat my legs full of spider veins, I knew I would be in good hands. Dr. Rayman is very knowledgeable and makes you feel immediately comfortable. I had my first treatment of sclerotherapy and was expecting a lot of pain but that wasn’t the case. Dr. Rayman was very gentle and informative when he was going to make the next poke. Most importantly, I felt completely relaxed during the procedure because I could trust Dr. Rayman’s work. I’ve been suffering with varicose veins are going on 11 years now. At first they were just ugly little things on my leg. But then nearing the end of last year I started feeling pains and twitches in my leg. I just thought it was because I was getting older and I’ve been working on my feet the past 13 years. But then the pain got so bad I couldn’t go to work I couldn’t stand up I couldn’t sit down. So I went online. And I found this what seem to be too good to be true doctors office. Then I’m call I sent next I sent an email. Asking for a consultation. Turns out the consultation was completely and utterly free. And that just sparked my interest. I went down there. And walked into this beautiful, Just overall beautiful office. The people you were had Dr. Rayman has working in his office are as beautiful and wonderful as the office makes them seem. As I walked in I was greeted with a beautiful good morning. I understand that doctors offices usually don’t say good morning. Of all the offices I’ve been to. I was very delighted to see at Miss Alex there she offered my sister and I a beautiful cup of coffee and I was very very good coffee. I was a little bit nervous and hesitant to have somebody look at my legs barring my size. But they made me feel very comfortable and they understood that I was very concerned about the pain in my leg. Two weeks later I was scheduled for a procedure. Procedure went off without a hitch and now I can bend my leg I can sleep through the night without the numbing sensation through my whole entire left side. Dr. Rayman is just a miracle worker.
