Canine Luv

Susie and Canine Luv have been amazing! Susie started walking Hurley as a puppy and he loves her like family. They are extremely flexible and always available for our little boy! They are great with the text updates and pictures… love getting those messages when we’re at work!

My dogs have never been boarded and usually I have a family member sit on my trips but for this last trip I was in a bind. Luckily I found Susan and her team at Canine Luv. I left for a 10 day trip overseas and opted for her semi pet sitting services. ABSOLUTELY the best decision I ever made. Since I travel alot I was considering on moving closer to family so I can have them watch my Yorkipoo and Maltese but move no more. Susan and her team were given a key to my home and they were trustworthy, neat and very attentive to my dogs.
They walked my dogs twice to three times per day for at least 25 minutes each time. They spent three hours a night with my dogs playing with them and even brushing their coats. All for less than many other boarding/​doggie hotels. I received a report via email every night with pictures and a detail itinerary of their daily activities.
I can now travel without the worries we usually have as pet owners. Furthermore, Susan and her team are a phone call away and are accommodating to any schedule changes or additional requests.
Canine Luv gets my thumbs up!!!

I am so happy right now. We just left our new rescue doggie alone for the first time since we adopted her only a couple months ago. She is nervous with new people, even growls when they come to try and take her out. But we were going away for the weekend and being new to the area, didn’t have anyone familiar to come stay with her. So we heard around the neighborhood that Canine Luv is awesome,. and to give them a try. Best decision we ever made. Susie was amazing with our little Sofie. She even spent extra time with her at no charge just to get her comfortable so she would eat and go for walks with her. By day 2, Sofie was excited to go with her. We got amazing updates at the end of each day about their time together during the day, complete with tons of cute pictures. Even found out what dogs she met in the neighborhood, and if she was good or not so good with them. Overall a wonderful experience and we will be certainly utilizing their services again!

Susie of Canine Love stayed with my dog Katy Rose and my cat Moses for four days while I was away. She had been recommended by neighbors and WOW did she live up to what I had been told — and way exceeded it! Every day while I was away I received a detailed text of the day’s events with my «babies» and also many photos of their activities. Knowing how well they were being cared for gave me so much peace of mind. When I came home Katy Rose and Moses were very glad to see me but I could tell that they had been well taken care of and were content. Also, my place was spotless — a big plus! I feel so fortunate to have found Canine Love and will definitely use them in the future. I have used other sitters in the past but Canine Love is the BEST!

I love Canine Love! Susie has been helping me every week since we got our puppy Woody at 8weeks old. Since he was my first puppy (and I was a nervous wreck) she has been an incredible help and and a wealth of knowledge. She helped me get over the hump of the difficult first two months even spending extra time whenever she could. I am forever grateful.

Susie is the absolute best! I thought I was going to lose my mind when my husband was out of town and I was left to wrangle my baby Bernese/​Collie mix on my own (aka giant ball of energy and spazz). She came over for the initial consultation and started the very next day. Her daily walk updates are not only super thorough but maybe the highlight of my day. She is so patient and calm with my pup and having an extra set of hands/​eyes training him is just so helpful. We have already started to see behavioral changes in him — I’m so grateful for Susie and Canine Love!

This was our first time we used Canine Love for our little dog Dijon. Susie came over for consultation and we liked her right-​away. Susie is super professional and very organized. She updated us in detail of Dijon’s activities everyday with pictures and Email. The flexible rate she offered was very reasonable and straight forward. We were very happy and relaxed on our vacation knowing Dijon was in good hands. We will definitely use Canine Love in future.

I’ve been using Canine Love for a few months now and I absolutely LOVE them!!!
I first had Susie come over for a consultation and to meet my dog Pickles. From the very beginning she was super professional, organized, prompt and above all you could tell that she genuinely loves animals. Since then we’ve decided to use her to watch after our dog when we go on short vacations. All in all I could not be happier with it!
1) She is super responsive both via email and text message
2) She works with you to come up with the right balance of service and costs. She doesn’t just jump on the first opportunity to up-​sell or charge more. She really considerers your dogs needs first and foremost.
3) She is so communicative! I get the most detailed and thorough text updates (with pictures) when she is watching my dog. I absolutely love them. They really put me at ease when I’m out of town.
4) She takes Paypal — it’s just super convenient

Canine Love is the best! Anytime we have to leave our dog with someone we don’t doubt to leave him with Susi, and our dog feels so happy to stay with her that sometimes we are scared that he wants to move out, but this only confirm to us that She is not only taking care of him, she is giving him Love! Thank you so much!

OMG… Susie is so awesome and Ender my pup loves her. I do not know what I would have done without her this past month. Last month was busy and I know if my little Aussie did not get his exercise, we would have seen more destruction around the house than a calm tired dog when we got home. Susie is always on time and after every walk, she updates me what happened and sends me a photo. She walks Ender one on one, talks to us asking for our needs and standards on walks and is very consistent with what we do everyday with him. We can definitely tell a difference between when he is walked and not walked. I think what makes this company stand out is not only is it super local, but Susie really knows how to work with the dogs and owners to make sure both needs are met. I would highly recommend her and the company to anyone.

Canine Love is a life saver! I work long hours and was left without a dog walker one day. I contacted Susie that morning and she was able to fit my pup in even though was last minute. I really appreciate the updates and pictures she sends. It’s nice when your at work to see that your dog is having fun being taken care of. Without even having to tell Susie, she was also well aware of making sure my Rottweiler got enough water and rest when it was warm. She has a black coat and can get sensitive to the heat! After a 12-​hour shift it was a relief to come home and see my dog still pooped out.
I do wish they had the option to go to the dog park so that she could run off-​leash. However, having a Rottweiler I can understand her reservation with it. Overall, I would definitely recommend Canine Love and use them again!

Ok, so here’s my breakdown for Canine Love.
I was visiting a friend in SoCal when I was asked to take care of her dog. I can’t even take care of babies, how am I supposed to take care of a dog?! So, I thought… this shouldn’t be so bad, right?
Well, as I was «taking care» of her dog, something came up and I had to drive to UCLA medical center (and I was staying in El Segundo in the new 360 community) so imagine the loooooong drive there and the loooong drive back not including the time spent in Westwood. I felt SUPER guilty so I looked for a dog walker to just check on the dog. At first, because I swear by Unilocal reviews, I called up a popular sitter, but she didn’t «serve the southbay», so I narrowed my search to «the southbay», a few of them popped up. I normally X out the ones that don’t have any Unilocal reviews but I sent out a mass email to the three that I found, including Canine Love, and they were the first one to respond back to me — PLUS THE CHEAPEST — I think it’s a promotional price or something, so I took advantage of it. They were super polite and efficient. I told them no time for meet and greet here’s the address and go check on the dog!
Within the hour I got a text of how the little monster was doing! What the what!?! How the hell did they do that so fast here in SoCal with all the traffic? Regardsless, it was done and I was SOOOOO happy!
Here’s a little secret, they don’t tell you to like their Facebook profile or review them on Unilocal,but I liked their Facebook profile and sent them a PM and now I’m writing them a review but they texted me (after the Facebook like) that the next walk is on them! Not a discount or anything but a FREE freakin’ walk! Whaaaaaaat?! I really wish they served NorCal expect I don’t have a dog. Their services make me less anxious about considering getting a dog for the future.
ALSOOOO, if you’re anything like me and you HATE talking to people on the phone, they’re REALLLLLLY good with text replies and emails. Puts me to shame!
