History

Established in 2007.

After, over the years, having accumalated more tools and painting equipment than I ever planned on accumalating, a miracle happened… I actually reached the end of the «honey-​do» list! One day, I was in the garage, taking stock of all this equipment, and realized that I had little immediate use for it all since the aforementioned miracle took place. Not being prepared to sell it, I decided that I might as well use these tools & equipment to share my various skills with those that were in need of them, (and maybe even make a couple of dollars in the process). That’s when Charlie’s Handyman Services was born.

A couple of years after moving to southern CA from a small town in up-​state, N.Y. Charlie started BEST Pest Control Company in 1984. In 2007, (for reasons stated in the above «history» section), Charlie decided to diversify a bit. Charlie’s Handyman Services was born as a small side business. Charlie has always enjoyed working with tools, especially power tools. He always thought of his tools as his brushes, and a «job» as his pallette. Since he can’t draw or paint worth a darn, he thinks of handyman work as his substitute «art».
