History

Established in 2011.

Debby Adelman and Christine Haenen met at Otis College of Art & Design. Both were seeking a second career doing what they love: to create beautiful, relaxing living spaces that reflect their client’s personality and lifestyle emerging from the 21^st Century’s concept of contemporary living. Debby, an accountant and Christine, an artist understood that this era is all about creative yet sophisticated solutions that won’t break the bank.

The mesh of their design styles complement each other perfectly: Debby describes herself as more «bling» while Christine’s style is more «organic.» The name of their company announced itself: the concepts of Decorative, Art, Creative and Home all pertain to the services DACH Design offers. Through Interior Design, Color Consulting and Staging they re-​imagine and re-​create your home into a complete transformation. Serendipity-​wise, DACH Design also stands for the first initials of both designers: Debby Adelman and Christine Haenen.

From an artistic family, Debby loves to mix old with new, contemporary with traditional. She creates unique pieces of furniture that best can be described as «rustic glam.» With a sense of humor and splashes of color, Debby’s signature is a space that «feels like a hug at the end of a long day.»

Christine Haenen

Someone once said, that everything Christine touches turns into beauty. A wonderful compliment! Christine has a great eye for what works in a space. With her background in Fine Art and originally from Holland, Christine’s designs showcase European flair and elegance.
