I have been coming to this office for two years now and having lived in LA for 10 years on the west side, its the best dental office I’ve found. The people that work there are friendly and do quality work. That said, I do not have a lot of problems with my teeth, so can’t comment on more than standard preventative care. They clean the teeth gently and unrushed and with the ultrasonic tool and hand tools. I have started to look forward to seeing the dentist again after 10 years of living in LA and finding most dental offices to be fast, rushed, insenstive to pain, and trying to upsell you on everything from teeth whitening to invisalign. It’s great to find a place that doesn’t try to upsell you immediately upon sitting in the chair.

Easy to schedule an appointment, and I have no complaints with the dental work (although I did have a temporary crown crack and fall out despite my being incredibly careful with it), but the receptionists here have been somewhat difficult to work with.
I had some confusion with billing/​insurance coverage and the woman that I spoke with on the phone was very short with me — She spoke to me like I was her child or something, and at one point even told me «don’t push your luck!» She did allow me to setup a payment plan, but not without making it abundantly clear that she wasn’t happy about it.
I was taken aback by this treatment. I’m an east coast transplant and as such don’t have a «family dentist» here, so I will most likely be looking elsewhere for dental work in the future.
