Goodlife Chiropractic & Massage – El Segundo

Had an enjoyable 1^st time experience. The staff is friendly as well as the chiropractic doctor. The waiting times are minimal and I was seen as soon as I finished my new patient application. The office is clean and the sitting chairs in the lobby are so comfortable you won’t want to stand up. Over all I had a great experience, I do see myself as a long term patient here.

This was my first time coming to a chiropractor. The idea of someone pressing or cracking my back is kinda scary! Don’t get me wrong I love the feeling when it does it naturally on my own, but I have this fear that it’ll crack wrong and hit a nerve and that’s that… Not to scare anyone. And obviously that did not happen.
So anyway, I decided to see a chiropractor because I was rear-​ended recently and although it wasn’t bad I could tell something wasn’t right. I saw my doctor at my university and she said I was having a muscle spasm on the lower right side of my back. I teach yoga so I need back! I started to panic a little bit so I looked on Groupon for any deals (I didn’t want to to spend a lot of money on something that I had no experience with) and of course also looked at Unilocal reviews and Goodlife had awesome feedback.
I made a last minute appointment because I was going out of town for the weekend and really wanted to get this thing looked at. Karina, the receptionist, was super sweet and accommodating to my urgency with wanting to come in. The first time I came in I met with Dr. Amanda. She asked about my pain, why I was here, etc. and then had me do a few simple spine movements.
I can’t remember if we did the adjustments first or the x-​ray but all in all she was great. I was nervous about the adjustment but she just told me to relax and take deep breaths. It’s kinda weird to explain but it’s their job so you just have to trust. I was a little sore after and it felt like spots in my back were warm (which my boyfriend said means circulation was going back to those areas so that’s good).
My next appointment was for a massage, which was nice because she told me I had tight hamstrings lol which I kind of knew but even though I teach yoga I don’t make it a point to really stretch those out. which is probably why they’re tight. So now I really know to work on that. And that can also be the cause of spinal or hip misalignment.
My last appointment was for another adjustment and to go over the x-​rays. Normally this is done at the same time as the massage but for time reasons I had to split it in two. This adjustment was a lot faster! Probably because I wasn’t as «crunched up» as the first time. I had I think Dr. Matt and he was really nice too. He said everything looked good and just recommended I come about every five weeks or so but he wasn’t pushy at all.
Mind you ALL of these came in the one Groupon so keep a look out for it! You can also try to bill through insurance, but I asked and one adjustment is $ 60 per visit, not terrible. I see an acupuncturist for pain so I’ll probably try that first but I wouldn’t mind coming back every once an awhile to just make sure my spine is in good health :)

I was a little hesitant to enter this location due to previous posts that state they treat Groupon customers differently but I am glad I went. Being a broke college student, I’ve been putting off going to the chiropractor for a year but when I saw the Groupon deal I decided to go. On my first visit, I was surprised how fast and professional they were. Dr. Deville did some tests and was able to diagnose me based on my posture. He took some xrays of me and then did some adjustments on my back which felt amazing. Through the whole process he explains everything he does so you don’t feel uncomfortable. Afterwards, he took me to a massage bed for seven minutes and I scheduled a second visit and I was on my way. During they second visit, I had a one hour massage with Kimberly and she was incredible. Very friendly and talkative. I do have to warn you that they do expect you to take off your clothes. After the massage, they placed me in a room where I watched a short video and then Dr. Deville came in and explained my xrays. Afterwards, we did another adjustment and back on the 7 minute massage bed! They quickly emailed me my xrays the same day which is free. This place is awesome and I highly recommend going here. Also, they play good music.

Dr. Matt DeVille has been helping me thru many conditions and his chiropractic treatments is helping me get back on my feet. I cannot express enough gratitude for how he has taken care of me. I HIGHLY recommend this place! Thanks Dr. DeVille and staff for the years of amazing care you provided me.

Staff are friendly. The place looks legit. Dr was really nice. They ask questions that matter and I got a good deal from groupon. despite it having been cheap since its a deal, they did a good with their performance over all. You know when you get a deal and when you are about to get it, either the staff of the company or store are arrogant and really rude, or the person or doctor themselves are just plainly annoying because they make you feel like your cheap. This one, I did not feel any of those at all. They are really nice and friendly. I will be coming back next week for my 2^nd session. Hopefully I can be better. The doctor did some work at my spine and le me tell you I feel sore a little bit but I notice it is not because i am in pain or anything. It is because my back is not used to being align. So I’ll update next week. I will recommend to anyone.

I have been coming here for just a couple of short months and already stand straighter and walk taller. The front ladies are friendly. Matt is the best. He’s gentle and listens about your day if you care to share.

Great office! Im always able to make appointments at a time thats convenient for me, and the ladies at the front desk are so nice.

I’ve never thought much of chiropractor, so I never went to one. But I’ve getting back pain that won’t go away for last three weeks. So I Unilocaled Goodlife Chiropractor and went for initial session. $ 25 for consultation, x-​ray, and first alignment session. Very friends place, very busy place. Be sure to make an appointment. They cracked my back, I didn’t know by back can Crack (sound) like that. But right away about 99% of my pain disappeared. I walked to my car lightly… :)
I’m a firm believer of good chiropractor after here.

While I haven’t actually been a patient here, I called them on behalf of my gf who was experiencing back pain. They got her in that day just 2 hours later for a consultation, took some x-​rays, made some recommendations, did a correction, and schedueld a follow up appointment.
Since then, Erika has been back a few times and seems to love them. With insurance, you get very cheap massages – which is a cool added bonus.
The doctor was very friendly and the rest of the staff was pretty great too.

Dr Matt was fantastic, I’ve been to several chiropractors and he is my favorite so far. The office staff was organized and timely and most importantly Matt’s adjustments were the best I’ve had. Definitely recommend!

WOW. These guys were awesome. I saw Dr. Amanda and she was nice, listened seemed very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job adjusting me. My back/​neck has never cracked like that before. She was quick but not rushed. I would definitely recommend this company and I will certainly be going back.

I got a regular massage through a Groupon deal. The massage was great, with friendly staff and plenty of parking. I would recommend this place.
Not sure if i could honestly pay the full price of $ 70 for just an hour massage though. Just being honest.

This review is based off my first visit.
I have had on and off back pain, and after having my first kid, I finally decided to do something about it. I decided to look at Living Social for some deals, which brought me to GoodLife.
Reception: Front of office staff was friendly and efficient. I didn’t wait long for the doctor.
Office: The office was clean and peaceful. It didn’t feel sterile like some doctor’s offices can be.
Dr. DeVille: He is stellar! And he’s the reason I give this a 5 star review. He was thorough and gentle (and didn’t judge me that I waited so long to come in for back pain). He explained what he was checking for when he examined me. I felt well-​informed through the whole process.
Highly recommend this place!

Two words. THE BEST!
I’ve had neck pain for over 10 years due to an accident and have gone to numerous chiropractors for relief.
A few years ago scheduled an appointment at my regular chiropractors office (completely separate from Goodlife) and Dr. Deville was filling in for her.
He adjusted me and instantaneously… I felt better. ONE adjustment, worked miracles.
Needless to say, he became my new chiropractor :)
Everyone in the office is very kind, they make you feel very welcomed.
GREAT massage therapists as well. Highly recommended.

Easily one of the Best Chiropractors in the business.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Carry at the Redondo Office for 6 months now but I work near the El Segundo location so I’ve been going back and forth between the 2 locations. I have been to quite a few chiropractors in different cities over the past 4 years due to some minor lower back and hip problems so I have quite a few other doctors to compare against Dr. Carry and Dr. DeVille and they are by far the best in LA.
They are very professional and they always do a full head-​to-​toe adjustment — often finding the source of your pain in somewhere other than you might think!
The waiting room does lack privacy, but for us regulars I like the open dialogue. It’s a bit like a community.
In short: Excellent doctors, very reasonable prices, always a good experience.

Never been to a Chiropractor and found a Groupon so decided to go.
I always have back pain and crack my back so was excited to have it done by a professional.
When I arrived, I began to fill out the paperwork. When the doctor finished with one patient, he went to talk to the receptionist. I heard him say, «Is this another Groupon? What do I have to do with this again?» in a VERY annoyed voice which immediately made me regret my decision to come.
When I went into the patient room to wait — at least 10 – 15 minutes — he came in and instead of smiling, he exhaled (like a huff and puff) which made me feel even worse, like I was a bother for being there.
The actual cracking of my back was good and felt nice but I felt COMPLETELY unwelcome.
What I don’t understand is why this company would be on Groupon if they got mad when Groupon customers came in?
The massage was good but a little too hard. I asked numerous times to go softer and to avoid certain areas where she was working way too hard but she did not comply.
