Specialties
Since 1998, we have been teaching Swing Dancing, East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, 1920’s Charleston, Balboa, Collegiate Shag, and Lindy Charleston. We also have a monthly workshop.
See Rusty’s Rhythm Club for our Wednesday weekly swing dance to live bands.
History
Established in 1998.
Opening our doors in 1998, «Lindy By The Sea» boasts the biggest Swing Dance program in Los Angeles.
All of our classes are held in the South Bay (just south of LAX) at Rebekah Lodge (406 E. Grand Avenue, El Segundo, CA 90 245).
Our classes are held in 4-week «series»; each series consists of four one-hour classes and are open to all ages.
If you are a beginner, you would join us on Thursday evenings for our intro to East Coast Swing and Lindy Hop classes.
Intermediate-Advanced Lindy Hop (& Balboa, Shag, etc.) classes are held on Tuesday evenings. (If you are not quite sure where you would fit in, give us a jingle 310−606−5606.)
Each series is $ 40/person ($ 36 Student/Senior) — which includes a 10% discount for pre-registration. Additional classes taken on the same day are half price. (If you took Level 1 and Level 2 and pre-registered, it would only be $ 60 for EIGHT hours of classes, or $ 7.50/hour)
