Rubens Distilling & Brewing is a Los Angeles based craft distillery & brewery, making hand made spirits and brews. Everything we do is from farm to bottle with unfailing attention to detail.

History

Established in 2015.

Our craft distillery and brewery is the first combination distillery-​brewery in Los Angeles since prohibition. Both the Founder /​Master Distiller and Head Brewer are extremely passionate and experienced in the craft world.

Rob Rubens has studied both the craft and the business under masters in the great North West and Midwest, as well as developing formulation processes independently.

Rob knew it was time for a change in careers after his very first distillery tour. Fast forward a few years… after scraping together enough savings, a number of distillery and brewery visits, and plenty of «R & D,» it was time to start another great wave. Coupling his experience with the desire to bring quality spirits and beer to Los Angeles, all under one roof, Rob decided to open Rubens Distilling & Brewing.

Rob’s extensive training and collaboration with over a dozen distillers and brewers has allowed the production of this kick-​ass line of spirits and beer in Los Angeles.
