Sushi Avenue specializes in Japanese cuisine, offering our best interpretations of traditional Japanese Sushi and Sashimi along with a number of more recent adaptations such as Sushi Rolls, Teriyaki Bowls, Udon and Ramyun Noodle Soups, tantalizing appetizers and side dishes such as Tempura plates, Mochi Ice Cream, Soft Shell Crab, and of course, our locally famous Bento meal boxes!
History
Established in 2004.
We are a local restaurant in the South Bay which has been in continuous operation since being founded in 2004. Our restaurant is family owned and operated, and has been in good standing with the city of El Segundo since the day we opened our doors.
Meet the Business Owner
Katherine M.
Business Owner
Katherine («Katie») has been our restaurant’s co-owner and head manager since our opening day. She is a professionally trained and accredited chef herself, specializing in serving Japanese and Korean fusion cuisine. She makes sure the family’s vision for a great meal and service is realized on a daily basis. When she is not managing her restaurant, she enjoys spending time with her family at home and her friends at church, and indulges in foot massages and watching Asian dramas.
