I will not go into details, but do yourself a favor and stay very far away from this jewelry store. I had a terrible experience. I left jewelry to be reworked. The lady wanted to do too much on verbal agreements, not written receipts. I wanted it in writing. She was «insulted». This is a place where the help is more important than the client. It was a nightmare. There were lots of mistakes made and not one apology. I would never go there again.
Allow me to add that I am not a disgruntled employee, have never had dealings with you other than unfortunate experiences in your store and by telephone. This is an honest, truthful review without motive other than to let people know I was very unhappy with our business dealings. The issue was concerning thousands of dollars of jewelry, not a $ 20 repair.

Cindy at The Jewelry Source is phenomenal! She worked one-​on-​one with my now husband to pick out my engagement ring. Without ever having met me, she used my husband’s description of my taste to help him select the exact engagement ring that I would have picked out for myself. Once my husband and I became engaged, we worked closely with Cindy to pick out our wedding bands. Cindy was professional, yet warm, and she did an excellent job staying in touch with us as we had our rings sized and engraved. We loved The Jewelry Source so much that we have already referred two friends to it, and they had an equally exceptional experience. A true gem, pun intended!

Took two antique brooches here to be cleaned, the price was reasonable for both items. The ladies here seem very knowledgeable and friendly customer service. I’d definitely go here again if I needed a repair or cleaning.

I’ve been here twice before and the people are very nice, but don’t be dumb like me to get small watch fixes done here. I brought in my watch to get a couple links removed and they charged $ 15 for the 5 minute work that was done. I don’t know why I didn’t say anything then, but once I got to my car I thought to myself «did I just pay $ 15 to remove two links». A link removing kit on amazon is less than 7 bucks…
However, still very nice people, so stars for that.

I came here to get a ring resized. ($ 99)
They said it would take a few days since they were short staffed but they were able to have it ready by the next day or two.
When I came in, the ring was still a little too big, so they resized it again. It took another two or three days.
Each time I went in, they were friendly. Also, they have three parking spots in the back of their store.
I would come back here.

Brenda was amazing. She helped me pick out a great piece for my wife. I had a negative experience at another jeweler close by and walked over to this store. Night and day difference! She was patient and showed me a lot of product, many of which were tempting. I found the perfect one and was on my way after she gift wrapped it. The customer service here blew me away. We’ll be back this year to upgrade my wife’s wedding ring.

I went to The Jewelry Source to get the engagement ring for my soon to be fiancée re-​sized. They did a fantastic job. Cindy the sales associate I worked with was very friendly and helpful. I messed up and sized the ring half a size too large. I was not 100% positive about the ring size and didn’t want to ruin the surprise. We returned shortly after I proposed, they were cool about it and made the fix free of charge even though it was all my fault. I will definitely be back in the future for any of our jewelry needs.

Cute store in «Downtown» El Segundo (who knew). The owner was super sweet and helped us reset my engagement ring that had become loose. We had actually been to a couple other jewelers who refused to do the work, because our 4 prong basket setting was «a liability.» But no problems with The Jewelry Source! And now, almost 2 years later, my ring is still intact!

I’ve been coming to Brenda for all of my jewelry needs for over 22 years. While I am on a teacher’s budget, most of my business has been reworking or enhancing family pieces I have inherited over the years. Brenda remade my husband’s wedding ring when we realized the design was less than well made. She restrung vintage pearls I inherited from a great grandmother. She helped me pick out and made a beautiful pendant out of my mother’s diamond from her wedding band when she passed away so that I can wear it close to my heart. She mounted another diamond from my grandmother into an earring I wear in a second hole on one ear. She reworked my original wedding ring (that one didn’t work out) into one piece, white gold with an oval canary diamond in the center and marquise all around it (it looks like a daisy!). Brenda is now currently resizing my Grannie’s ring (she was tiny and I am an amazon) that I inherited when she passed away last year. I can’t wait to see it next week!
I’ve also purchased several stunning, one of a kind pieces for myself and as gifts. If they don’t have it, they can get it for you! Brenda is very knowledgable about jewelry, has tons of books to look at and always has unique and trend setting items in the shop. If they wouldn’t think I was weird, I’d go in once a week, just to look… and drool! The staff is always very friendly and Gemma (the resident Labradoodle and security manager) is a sweetheart! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
11÷13÷14 just picked up my Grannie’s ring that has been resized. It is AMAZING!!! I made the comment that it is probably not a daily ring but Brenda assured me that I «could pull it off.» Love this place and they will put items on your wish list which I did today… hint hint husband! ;-)

I went in to have a ring cleaned, and they informed me that my diamond was loose. Their in-​house jeweler was able to fix it the same day – they also re-​rhodiumed my ring, and it looks amazing! I highly recommend this place. The staff was accommodating and knowledgeable.

This is truly as good as it gets! This beautiful jewelry store in El Segundo not only has incredible jewelry, but the service is over the top! Every single person working here knows their stuff! What a team of knowledgeable people! A friend, who had numerous jewelry items custom made here, introduced me to this store. I trusted her, so I trusted this store. Right away, their professionalism stood out! Items that needed repair were photographed right there at the counter and the photo was on my receipt! Wow! When my insurance company needed more information for insurance purposes, Brenda was right there, doing whatever they needed. She called, emailed, and did what they required. I couldn’t be more satisfied and delighted with a local business! I give them an unqualified exceptional rating!

I had only several days to build an engagement ring as I was traveling to Dublin Ireland to propose to my girlfriend. Brenda and her amazing team were engaging, courteous and knowledgeable which made me feel comfortable in an otherwise anxious setting. Brenda catered to my every need and produced a stunning ring which my wife still brags about. We went back to Brenda to have two custom bands made that we chose from the internet and of course they came back flawless.

Incredibly friendly. Knowledgeable. I didn’t price shop, so I don’t know if their prices are low or high, but I was very impressed with their service and patience. I traded in a bunch of gold jewelry I’d accumulated over the years and they’re making a custom piece for me. They’re also sizing and repairing a bunch of things for me. No more saving my jewelry for «something special.» Time to wear it every day!

I took a pair of my great grandmothers earrings here for repair and four watches. They were so helpful. I had two different women helping me at once. My watches were sent out and had to have a new band ordered. It was less than a week before everything was back. all my watches work great and I love the new band. My great grandmothers earrings were also repaired quickly and look like they will withstand another 85 years. I can’t wait to go clean out my jewelry box and bring them more things to make look brand new!

My mother gave me my grandmother’s ring to use as my engagement ring. My grandmother was a tiny woman, while I am an Amazon. I needed to get the ring sized and my best friend recommended the Jewelry Source. My mom and I needed to find a store we could trust and not some two bit operation.
My mother was very nervous about giving me this ring. She was very close to her mother and is a sentimental person. We went to the Jewelry Source together and were helped by Cindy. Cindy is 110% professional and knows exactly how to put people at ease. She sensed my mother’s nervousness and spoke directly to my mom’s fears while making me feel cared for. We found out that my ring is from the late 1800’s and was handcrafted! We had no idea! Cindy gave us many opportunities to walk away and think about it. The lack of a sales push was exactly what my mom and I needed to put our trust in this place.
The ring was size and cleaned beautifully. Cindy and her colleagues did a fantastic job with the ring. I hardly recognize it because it is so shiny and lovely. I cannot stress how much I love the folks at the Jewelry Source. I would trust them with everything I own.

Amazing, fast service. I was in a pinch to get my wedding band repaired 2 days before my wedding. Normally they said repair would take a week, but they rushed the fix and turned it around the same day. I couldn’t believe they were able to help so quickly!

This place was great from the moment I called until the moment I got my ring back.
I had an emergency situation (well, a jewelry emergency). My Fiancé and I had gotten engaged and within a week and half we were leaving for the UK to see his family, but my ring was a little tight.
I called up Brenda on a Saturday and came in about 10 minutes before closing and she had the ring back to us with a day to spare so I could wear it (comfortably) when we went to the UK.
The sizing was done beautifully and I am definately going to be going back there for my jewelry needs.

Their loose gems selection is incredible and Brenda, the owner, even travels internationally to hand pick exquisite quality gems (you can even custom order the stones) which cuts out the middle man thus giving you an incredible gem at an affordable price. They can custom design anything you can imagine at any price point, and will go the extra mile to make sure you are completely thrilled with your jewelry. I have had precious stones added to a cross which turned out to be so incredibly well done to the point that you wouldn’t know the stones weren’t original to the piece.
The store has a vast array of custom pieces and also has major designer labels as well. The selection is always changing so it is worth stopping in often to see the «new arrivals». The jewelry pieces are top notch and you can assure you are getting an investment piece of art and not just a piece that everyone else has from any mall store.
As far as jewelry repair goes you can’t find a better place to take care of your precious items. They can do everything from small repairs like polishing out scratches, putting in new watch batteries, reconnecting broken chains (like I had done to my 100 year old rosary), etc. and major repairs like refurbishing pieces to put them back to their former glory. My mom has an antique 2 carat sapphire and platinum ring from the 1930’s which needs to have the band rebuilt. She has been waiting to find a jewelry store she trusts with her heirloom, and after meeting Brenda she has decided to trust her and her staff to make the repairs.
Finally, you can’t ask for a better and more caring group of people than the folks at The Jewelry Source. Be prepared for them to want to get to know you and really understand what you are looking for. Don’t worry about someone trying to «up-​sell» you something more than you want or need. Friendly, knowledgeable and understanding is the best way to describe Brenda and her team.
