Okey but they we 45 min late even thought I had an appointment. The pedicure person cut my toe and it still hurts 3 days later.

One of the worst manicures I have ever received. I asked to come in on my lunch on a wednesday and made an appointment. I came in and they couldn’t accommodate me. I left, returned right at 12 and they accommodated me, but proceeded to give me the worst manicure ever.(see picture) — this manicure is less than an hour old. I didn’t have time to inspect closely until I returned to work. 40 dollars down the drain. So disappointed.

The ladies were really nice but my acrylic nails looked horrendous. Definitely not worth $ 45

The ladies here are very sweet and professional. Best chairs ever! And definitely not a sweat shop atmosphere; all of the employees seem happy to be here. Tina made some great suggestions and my nails look fantastic!

Tina was my go-to nail tech for my acrylics for about a year. I was referred to her through a friend and started to meet with her every 2 weeks when she opened her own salon. At first she was great but then she started to hire family and friends to work in her salon and all she did was gossip with them. She started to make me wait almost 30 minutes to be serviced, even though I made an appointment in advance. She would take her sweet old time, I think every visit was taking longer and longer to finish my nails. Tina would stop doing my nails and just start talking to her friends that were sitting in the salon. Sometimes her friends would hover over me while I was getting my nails done and lean on my chair to talk with Tina. After a couple months, I had enough. I have since gone to different salon that is actually more expensive but has WAY better service. Plus I would always leave an appointment from her with swollen fingers! She would be too harsh on my skin with the sander or make me bleed. She has gotten very sloppy. Since I moved to a new salon, I haven’t experienced this at all.

I think I’ve found my new spot. This place doesn’t have the fancy built in spa chairs but they still have the massaging chair. I don’t think it’s the cheapest spot either. BUT they are real friendly and do a good job. EVERY salon I’ve been to, you can clearly tell they are talking/gossiping about you or other clients. They never talk to you except each other. It’s really annoying and rude. This salon they actually speak to you. Just for that alone I’m giving them a higher rating.

Tina was awesome! With a day notice she fit in myself and my whole team from work in for mani’s and pedi’s. Everyone loved their nails and the employees were really fun and even played music for us while we had the whole place to our self. Highly recommend! We will be returning!

Currently my go to spot. Clean and friendly. Everyone speaks well English which important to me because I’m meticulous about my nails. The color selection didn’t wow me, but they do have a selection. It’s small, 8 chairs at max, but very cozy. I’ve had work done by 3 of the 4 technicians and I’ve been pleased.

I’ve been going to Tina’s for about 5 months and could not be more pleased or recommend the ladies there enough. Nice relaxed atmosphere, lots if colors to choose from and quality work. You can tell a place is good when the staff is having fun and they are always busy.

«Please sit down» «Heres a pillow» «Would you like to lay down» This is what you’ll hear at Tinas! Politeness from the moment you walk in. Tina is known for her natural acrylic & I can vouch for that! Her attention to detail is superb & I know– us ladies can agree — hard to find when it comes to a nail artist! I can also attest to the exceptional pedicures — simply flawless!

I just discovered this place as i was at the 99c store across the street. Decided to get my Gel Mani($ 30). It was quick and good service. Small place(2 mani stations, 4 pedi stations, and a room for facial, waxing, and other misc services), but nice to get in and out quick without the hassle of a BIG crowd(especially on my lunch break). Will definitely return.

So I didn’t end up getting any services done here. After being seated I was given their swath of extremely limited gel colors(strike 1). I was told they don’t have ‘Perfect Match’ so i’d have to pick out a similar color from their choices on the wall(strike 2). As they were trying to ascertain how to work their credit card machine in the owner’s absence, I noticed a long brown hair on the towel my feet were propped on(exhibit a below)(strike 3). Frustrated, I patted my feet dry and went down the street to queen nails. Never again. Too annoying an experience.

Super happy that Tina’s Nails is in El Segundo. We needed a good nail spot. Very clean, friendly and cozy place. TINAISTHEBEST for acrylic. She does a great job everytime. My nails are very natural looking, thin, they never ever lift and they don’t chip. I went somewhere else for a quick fill because I could not make in to see Tina, and was really disappointed. I just won’t be able to go anywhere else. Whats even better now is that she has more people working for her.

11⁄15UPDATE — Still going to Tina on the regular and super happy with the quality of work. Not one lifted crooked nail yet. If you read most of my Unilocal reviews, they’ve been about nail salons. I think I can finally move on to a new topic! ORIGINALREVIEW6⁄15 Nice to have a local spot to patronize. I’ve tried all the other salons in the Gundo and they just fail to deliver in some way(poor service and/or poor quality products). Tina’s so far has been great! It’s a REALLY tiny spot so make an appointment. I’ve been there with only 2 technicians and had t o wait much longer than I desired(a little frustrating), but she will turn people away where a lot of other salons just keep accepting appts and that messes everything up. When she’s fully staffed, it seems to flow much better. I’ve recently switched back to acrylics — no lifting at all which before was a huge problem. A friend had a regular manicure and the polish lasted her for two weeks! There’s a fairly good selection of polishes, so you’ll easily find a color you like. Definitely worth trying out — I just hope the quality and service remains high.
