Travelscene

First off, I thought it was important to not only provide an updated review for Travelscene but to point about an amazing rep, Samantha.
I came across such an amazing deal on Travelzoo for only 1498.00 per person my spouse and I can travel to Tahiti non-​stop from LAX and stay at a 4 star hotel (including airport transfers) for just under 3K total! Talk about a DEAL!
Samantha was there to assist and answer my questions every step of the way. She made hotel recommendations as there were several hotel options to choose from. She also sent excursions /​activity descriptions and pricing for my island as well as a nearby island.
Even after booking she continues to be a great resource and I cant say enough good things about her level of service and detail. So far I would definitely book travel with Travelscene again. I will leave another review after my trip in May!

I have been looking for a year and a half to review this travel agency. This is the worst travel agency that I have had the misfortune to deal with. We had got a really good deal for 5 nights with flights to Fiji with Groupon. I was really excited It. From the start we had problems with them due to the travel agent that we got (Yuri). She could not have been any less helpful. Did not seem like she wanted to help us at all from the start. We had a really good time in Fiji don’t get me wrong but I will never deal with this agency again no matter how cheap it will be.

We booked and enjoyed a wonderful vacation in Fiji through TravelScene. I would recommend them for Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti and Fiji travel planning.
With the help of Frommer’s and TravelScene agent Olga Demchesen we arranged for a delightful 8 day vacation in Fiji. The airline trip, resort bookings and travel connection bookings worked without a problem although we had a few anxieties along the way. Olga was knowledgeable and helpful although she made a few minor errors in preparing the itineraries which took several calls to correct.
Our biggest concern was that there were no printed tickets or vouchers for the air fare, resort stays or connecting travel. Olga assured us that all we had to do was show the final itinerary prepared as an email attachment and she was right.
Another concern was that we still didn’t have final tickets/​vouchers or itinerary five days prior to departure. A flurry of calls to Olga, and a re-​send of documents she had record of sending 10 days earlier (but never received by us) resulted getting the final itinerary with a sigh of relief.
If you use TravelScene be sure to:
1. Check your paperwork carefully to be sure there are no errors.
2. Follow up with phone calls and emails to be sure the errors are fixed.
3. Stay on top of the final payment date — you may not be reminded.
4. Be sure you have the final documents well before departure.
