My wife and I were so lucky to have this work done by Lopez in Richmond. When we lived in San Pablo, there was so much illegal and unreasonable obstruction by the city that we ended up doing our work in the evenings and weekends just so the high level of quality could continue and the beautiful work was done. But in both Richmond and with our friends in El Sobrante, things went smoothly and we were so happy with the results. If you’re in San Pablo, weekends and nights make it easy. Anywhere else, smooth sailing, but wherever you are, you’ll love the results.

Lopez landscaping did a great job! Put 100% effort in transforming my side yard into a functional patio. These guys will be called for any future landscaping I need. Don’t hesitate cause they are busy and prices are reasonable.

We had a tough time figuring out what we wanted to do with a large patio area consisting of rubble from a deck/​spa deconstruction, and 5 remaining pillars standing like Stonehedge in England. Miguel was very patient and helped us develop a backyard patio plan in line with our budget and our tastes; the results: a Napa brick-​paved area with a stunning trellis adorning our 5 pillars. Perfect!!! Miguel … you the MAN !!!

I found Lopez Landscaping on Home Advisor. I met Miguel and was so comfortable with him because he was very kind and professional and patient. He explained everything to me very thoroughly and put me at ease. I originally hired hin to install a rock retaining wall around the perimeter of my yard and put in some grass. Because he was so easy to work with I ended up hiring him to also install sprinklers, put in a large redwood vegetable box with irrigation throughout the box and yard, install a new staircase on my deck, reinforce the deck which required a ton of work but he saved me a ton of money not having to rip it down and start from scratch. He repaired cracks in my stucco and cement stairs leading to the front of my house. He fixed my fence which was falling over and put in french drains all arond the back of my house. He installed pavers on my side yard which you can see from the front porch so it looks very nice now when you walk to the front of the house and look into the side and back yard. He repaired a window sill that had a ton of dryrot. He removed an enormous tree stump and tons of roots. He extended my patio and made more space for plants with a nice border. I loved working with him so much I kept asking, «Hey Miguel, can you fix this too?» So what started out as a small project turned into a huge project simply because all the work desperately needed to be done and he was so awesome and pleasant to work with. Anytime I had questions or concerns or problems he was very fast to address them to my satisfaction. And he is very affordable. He had two guys working on his crew that were also super hard working and very nice people. I was so happy at the end of the project I gave each one of them a personal thank you card and a small cash bonus just to show them how much I appreciated their honesty and care with all the work and efficiency. I can not recommend them highly enough and I knew nothing about them when hiring them. Since then I have asked and a couple of people said they knew of them or had worked with him and said the same thing, how great they are. I don’t think you will be sorry if you hire them for your job. They are consistent and will do the job right and not empty your bank account. I had a problem with my sprinkler today, in fact and I left a voicemail for Miguel. It is Saturday. I missed his return call a few minutes later listened to his voicemail and he was on his way over to solve the problem! What a guy!
