OCD Moving Services

I emailed and spoke to Daniel two days before I wanted to move and luckily his team was available to help me move out of my useless storage unit. Everyone else I contacted either didn’t respond back or didn’t have openings and I’m glad they didn’t because OCD moving services did an OUTSTANDING AMAZING job!
The two man team that came on time and ready were Anthony and Joel. I got along with them right away. They have a great system for moving. I wanted to move some of my stuff to recycling, the other to trash, and some in my car to take home with me. They helped put my stuff into 3 piles– recycling, trash, and car. This made the move so much easier and faster.
Daniel showed up close to when we were getting ready to leave to introduce himself and see how things were going. He was very nice and professional.
The move out process took about 1 hour since I didn’t need anything wrapped or moved carefully, then we headed to Berkeley Recycling center and Trash. They helped place the recycling things into different bins at the recycling center. Total I had them for 3 hours since the min to book is 3 hours– which was perfect since the line to get in to dump trash was long.
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this moving company and I will be using them again for any future moves. Anthony and Joel are a great team and I hope you get to experience their friendly and professional service as well!

Daniel and team are AWESOME! I am an Interior Designer in the Bay Area and have used their services for both commercial and residential projects. Daniel and his crew are at my home now, and I decided to write this review on the spot because I was so impressed by them. I have had multiple professional movers over the years. First they showed up early and communicated clearly.
Daniel is indeed meticulous/​OCD about furniture and will point out markings (pre-​existing) on furniture and tell you how he will wrap things carefully. He also tackled a challenging coffee table that was hard to disassemble (assembled by previous movers). He tells you if a piece of furniture is unstable and is concerned it will get damaged on the ride and what plans are to minimize that
Pasquale (Italian descent) is a delightful crew member who has a great attitude and is friendly. He went out of his way to arrange replacement pads for furniture legs that cam unstuck while moving. Brandon is also very hard worker and very pleasant, also showed his Irish accent impersonation. I had not taped all my boxes and these guys helped with finishing touches.

Though I have not had the priviledge to use thier services. This is based on communication and customer service. I was scheduled to use thier services but Murphy’s law came into affect so we had to cancell. However I will say that they are quick to respond and I did not feel pressured into trying to keep the schedule. Just for that reason alone if I am ever in need of moving I will call this company again. Kudos to your customer service skills.

I wish that I could give OCD Moving Services more than five stars; this is a fantastic company — they moved me on April 26/​27, 2016, from Los Altos to downtown San Jose, and the entire crew — Joel, Pasquale, Anthony and Ryan — was extremely helpful, efficient — and honest; there was one small item broken and they showed integrity and honesty by calling it to my attention rather than hiding it. We had this crew for our move in April of 2015. They were very hard working, and dedicated. Very nice, honest people who made sure your move was as easy as possible. My only thing that was less pleasant was that when they helped up pack, some of the Packers just threw stuff into boxes and so it made unpacking a little more challenging. But nevertheless they were so helpful, in the end it didn’t really matter.

This was the most smooth, hassle free move I’ve ever had. All four of the movers who helped us were courteous, on time, professional, polite, and careful. Not one item was damaged, not one wall was scratched. And on top of all of that they were friendly and easy to get along with. Hands down, if we ever move again, this is who I’m calling. They knew what they were doing and went out of their way to make the move easy for us.

We used OCD Moving Services for a cross-​country move and couldn’t be happier. I was dreading trying to find a nationwide moving service. It’s usually the luck of the draw whether you get someone good or someone who grumbles and throws your stuff around. After a lot of research, I found this company which primarily does local moves in the Bay Area, but they can also do longer moves.
Throughout the entire process, Daniel (the owner) was responsive, polite, and expert. Daniel set expectations well beforehand, showed up on time for an estimate, and helped us decide what should stay or go.
On the day of the move, Daniel, Dallas, and Pasquale showed up on time and made quick work of the boxes we’d packed, then carefully wrapped and loaded our furniture. Moving is always stressful, but Daniel and his whole crew clearly enjoy their work and each other, and that made things much easier.
Daniel kept us posted with updates on the progress of the truck as it made its way across the country. OCD didn’t offload the move to anyone else, so it was the same crew (Daniel and Pasquale) for unloading too. They showed up on time and got everything in the right spots as they unloaded. They even stopped after unloading the furniture to ask whether anything needed to be shuffled around before they started on the boxes.
It’s rare to find an excellent moving company, but OCD fits the bill. If I had to move again, I’d talk to Daniel and OCD first.

I booked my move with Lulu’s, who then contracted it out to OCD and I’m so glad they did. Dallas and Pasquale were the greatest! On time, communicative, very well priced, extremely careful with my items and they also moved very quickly and efficiently. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough, and will happily use them again next time I move.

Choosing OCD Moving Services is the probably the best decision I have made. Dallas and Daniel took a stressful moving experience and made it a very easy transition. They were very punctual and did a great job handling my items. They wrapped up each piece of furniture and made sure everything was moved into my new place in the exact same condition. I would definitely use this company the next time I decide to move and would highly recommend them to anyone that needs moving services.

Daniel and OCD movers have to be some of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. They took better care of our furniture than we do, covering and wrapping every piece of furniture — even the pieces from our storage unit — before putting it on the truck. When unloading they were careful to put boxes and furniture in the designated rooms, watchful of walls and doors, and took all the excess tape and plastic with them when they left.
Not only were they hard workers they were polite, cheerful and fast. On the (several) occasions we wanted to see what furniture pieces might look like in a different room or against a different wall they were quick to do so. Even though the move took longer than the estimate had called for (owing to traffic) they only charged us for the agreed upon time.
If you’re looking to move in the Sacramento area, I highly recommend OCD Moving Services.

These guys were so helpful. Darnell and his whole crew knew what they were doing, plus they were all very friendly. I was referred to ocd when I called lulu moving services, and these guys took care of everything we needed them to. Plus they did some hoisting work that others weren’t willing to do. I will definitely be calling them again.

These guys are great. Connected with Daniel through Lulus moving. Apparently he has a good working relationship with them and they passed the work on to him.
Daniel came over to scope out the house and gave us a very competitive bid. It was a complicated because we were moving two households and combining it into one.
He and his crew arrived a couple weeks later right on time. They moved one house, went to the other to pack it up, and then drove South to unload in the new place. By the end of their 10 hour day they hit all three bridges.
All the furniture and boxes were well taken care of. Boxes ended up in the rooms we wrote on the outside. Only one piece had a little bit of damage but was easily fixed.
Kudos to them for even moving a cumbersome hot tub. It was not that heavy but had to be lifted overhead to get it through a narrow passage.
Bottom line, if you need to move, these guys will take great care of you.

I am super picky about our stuff. First of all, these guys have moved us twice and done an amazing job. Their prices are fair, but you get what you pay for. OCD didn’t break ANYTHING. Heck, there wasn’t even a scratch on anything. They were fast and efficient. We are talking LOTS of sensitive computer equipment, high-​end stereo, TVs, and nice furniture ($$$).
On a side note. they all spoke ENGLISH! and it was the same guys moving us each time! The owner/​manager (Daniel) was part of the moving crew which gave us a lot of peace of mind.
Our family has moved a half dozen times over the last 15 years (relocating for startup related job opportunities) and these guys were by far the best. When my mom had to move recently, I even trusted these guys to help her. and she is even more picky than I am.
How do I rate these guys more than 5 stars???

As long as Daniel is in business, I will never use another mover.
I have used numerous moving companies in the past & not one of them would I use again. They either didn’t fulfill there obligations, gouged me on pricing, damaged my belongings, or weren’t reliable. OCD is the exact opposite. Each time I have called to schedule a move with OCD, Daniel the owner, answers the phone. How refreshing is that? He is efficient, professional, reliable, honest, hardworking, takes pride in his work, and is a really nice guy. Why is that so rare in most businesses today?
As far as the actual moving, OMG talk about OCD. I think Daniel & his crew cared more about my belongings than I did. They padded every wall, covered every floor, and treated all my things as if they were cherished heirlooms. Needless to say, nothing was misplaced or broken & the entire move was orchestrated by Daniel & his team with military precision.
I recommend OCD to all my friends & family without any hesitation. If you hire OCD you can relax on moving day knowing that they are going to take great care of you & your belongings.

Amazing! Amazing!
I called Daniel around 7 o’clock in the evening after a larger moving company, with supposedly excellent reviews had finished moving me. I could write a book about what went wrong with that company, but that is not the point of this review. This review is about how amazing Daniel and his crew were. I had an oversized couch that needed to get into my 3^rd floor walk up apartment. The problem was that one particular area in the stairway did not allow the couch to clear. The original moving company attempted to hoist it with 3 guys (I believe 2 of the 3 guys were not professional movers). They were unable to hoist it, and they ended up calling their office. All the sudden in the final hours of my move I was told by the moving company that their movers do not hoist furniture… interesting since that is precisely what they had been trying to do in the prior 30 minutes. They were done with my move and left the couch outside.
I called Daniel and explained the situation. He came over that evening with one other guy and assessed the situation. They attempted to hoist the couch with just the two of them, but that ended up not being feasible. They offered to come back with a couple more guys first thing in the morning to do it at no additional cost! I couldn’t believe it; it’s been a long time since I have experienced this type of kindness and humanity.
Sure enough, the next morning at 7:15, Daniel and 3 other men were there, ready to go. Before I could get to them, they were already tying up the couch and hoisting it up to my apartment. I think the whole thing took 15 minutes.
Not only did they get the job done, but also, they were polite, had great energy, and instilled complete confidence from beginning to end. To top it all off, I paid Daniel a little extra for the job, because of their extra efforts and awesomeness, and he reached out later to let me know that I had overpaid him. Talk about genuine, authentic, and honest.
I have moved a ton. This experience ranks as the best that I have ever had. I will definitely be calling them again and spreading the word to anyone who will listen.

Look no further, this is the company to hire! OCD just did our move, which was large and with many heavy and delicate items. They took such great care with each item and our newly painted house, I felt at ease the entire time. We had Daniel, Pasquale, Emily and Dennis and they were all super energetic, incredibly strong, friendly and fun the entire day, which was a long one given our large move. Their prices are very reasonable given how efficient and careful they are. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I called Daniel, and he came to my house and gave me a very professional cost estimate and they stuck to that estimated price. The entire experience was highly professional.
