I ordered a thai ice tea and it was TINY. I was really upset with how small it was for the price I paid. The food and soup is really good, they wrapped my meat in paper which was a little odd but the food tasted fresh and they had pretty good service.

Tried this place for the first time tonight. Food was good but after reading some of the reviews I tried the shaking beef with noodles. It wasn’t «to die for» like some people thought although it was good. Lots of onions, bell peppers, oil and other fillers. The Phở was good and I will probably have that next time as my wife and son did tonight. I want to try a rice plate too. We will be back to try other items soon.

This place is okay. I’ve had better cleaner phở. The service was alright, nothing exceptional. Don’t order the shrimp cakes. They’re messy and hard as a rock.

Man… Kathy if you’re reading this, you’re the reason I started coming back here. Along with my other favorite gal, I didn’t catch her name but I love her as well. Customer service is amazing, it def keeps me coming back a few times a week. You have to reach optimum level of success for that shit. It’s one of those places that when I walk in it’s like home. You know? Pros– –Phở dac biet with ox tail– hell yeah. Rice plate combo with red rice. Dumped my fish sauce ALLOVER the damn place . –shaking beef, throw that at me. So delicious –fresh squeezed orange juice. Damn it’s refreshing . Keep this in mind. This is a good restaurant with good people, it’s going to busy– SOBEPATIENT people don’t come in when they close. If they close at 9 don’t show up at 9. It’s rude man. Try and give the the business @ least 45 mins before closing time. This one is in my books. Kathy my love — you is awesomeeeeee.

Good clean and tasty restaurant. Clean tables and nice décor all around. My go to place for phở in my area. Never had a bad phở bowl here. The service is like many other phở restaurants not very attentive well I dont care I just come for a good portion and priced meal. Recommend this spot for a good portioned meal for a good price.

I give this place 3 stars because their broth wasn’t that great. It’s hard to find a phở place that tastes like home. But the Vietnamese iced coffee is a must have! It takes a long time to get your coffee because they make it from scratch. We only came here because we traveled here for work. It was the only best option. Service was wonderful, but food was okay.

I am floored! Some of the best phở broth that I’ve had. Delicious, spacious, and clean. I appreciated their service. Our waitress was the kindest and cutest thing. Most places charge for extra broth. The waitress must have seen that my bowl was getting low on broth… she came and gave me a bowl of extra, delicious broth on the house. Pls see pics, it was so good!

In need of something quick to eat for lunch and we hadn’t been here for a while so we stopped by. The menus look newer. They have the same menu but with some additional items that weren’t there before. Also, it looks like they got new staff too, because I didn’t recognize anyone from before. I opted for the phở tai while the boyfriend ordered a rice dish. We also ordered an avocado shake and strawberry shake with pearl. My phở came out quickly but the rice dish took a little bit longer. Despite how quickly the phở came out, it still tasted just as good as before. You know you’re eating good phở when you don’t have to add much to flavor it and when it doesn’t make you sleepy/tired/thirsty after eating it. The only one thing that bothered me was that they forgot about our shake orders and halfway through our meal, I had to ask the waitress walking by about it. This isn’t the first time I ordered a shake from here and they forgot about it. The shake tasted fine though the boba were stuck together in clumps. I might forgo ordering shakes here next time. Hits the spot for food but it’s a miss for shakes.

This little place opened up near my parents and is a great little place to grab a bahn mi, phở, or rice plate. There’s a standard menu with a decent selection. However, the prices seem a little high for the neighborhood. Phở runs close to $ 9, and rice plates are going to be over $ 10. This area isn’t too keen on lunches and dinners running terribly over $ 10 after tax and tip, so hence the three star rating.

Food: Phở is good, rice plates are decent in portion. Service: Could be better. Location: Perfect because it’s so close to home.

FOOD: everything I’ve ordered so far was good, no regrets, all yummy. If you don’t want any of the cartilage and the like, make sure to tell the server.(See pics) SPACE: big, good for groups. If you are looking for an upscale resto, this is not it! SERVICE: Fast and efficient. Great staff, very friendly. You can also order ahead of time to save time(if in lunch break).

Service is horrible. Servers have no idea who ordered what between the tables. Our waiter came and tried to bring us 5 different dishes. All of which we did not order… also, they tried to sit a party of 7 in a circle table in the hallway area. The servers were rude and speaking in other languages about the customers. Food– mediocre. I would say that if you wanted to get legit food, I wouldn’t suggest going here. Banh mis barely had ANY meat. It was pretty much all baguette. I mean I also understand food can’t be the most perfect or the best every time but finding hair on the meat was just the icing on the cake of my visit here. Parents got bun bo hue, but noodles looked undercooked and it lacked enough of the flavor All in all, not pleased. Would rather go to Albany for phở.

One of my favorite phở places. Fresh spring rolls are delicious. Phở is served in a perfect, aromatic broth in massive size(no smalls! Only medium and large for their soups). Their smoothies with boba are really sweet but very refreshing. Service is alright– the ladies that served us were quick and to the point, with not a lot of room for hospitality. They feed you, bring you your bill, and you’re out! Not necessarily a bad thing. I’m def gonna go back to try their vermicelli bowls.

Did not feel like cooking lunch today. It’s a five minute drive, and I’ve been meaning to check them out for awhile. Take out, it is! Hubbers got Phó,(#1, to be exact) and I got the rice combo plate with grilled pork chop, shrimp, fried chicken wings and egg rolls. I ordered a side of eggs to go with that. Also ordered the cha gio and a honey dew drink. They were FAST. I got my food less than 10 minutes — and this is while the place is packed. Loved that. Got home and everything was still nice and hot. My combo plate was MASSIVE, I think that could have fed 2 people. The pork chop was cooked nice and tender. Whatever marinade they used for that was done right. The chicken was bland, but it got better when dipped in the sauce. Hubbers loved the Phó(I tried it, the broth is delicious!) Will definitely give this place another visit!

Uggghhhhhh!!! I used to eat here a lot. Fresh spring rolls and phở are my #1 favorites! When I decided to get a pork chop rice plate, WHYWASTHERELITTLEWHITEHAIRSALLOVERTHEMEAT. Like for reals, my husband is way too nice and was trying to convince me otherwise. LOOKATMYPICTURETHOANDYOUTELLME. I am super disgusted.

Pros: Great place to have soup. Recommend seafood and beef stew soup… So delicious :-) They make great quality Vietnamese sandwich Recommend their beef cubes for a meal which is scrumptious Reasonable and affordable price for lunch or dinner Available parking space Friendly staff Good customer service Cons: I drink lots of water and the glass provided was a bit small and would have to keep asking waiter for more water. Would be nice if they just provide me a pitcher of water.

Not much of a phở girl, although i went through a weird phase in my life during my teens when thats all i ever ate was Phở. Not that I am much older, my desire for phở only happens during my worst hangovers. In comes this place. A friendly(newly owned) Phở place serving up the best Phở in the city of El Sobrante. Offering mix and matches to your noodles and even the taste of the soup. I highly recommend ordering a flat rice noodle with any Phở(it’ll change your life). Order comes quick and there are more than one waiters to assure if youre being treated right.

So we talked to my dad and he wanted to have lunch at this Vietnamese Phở place that had«just opened». Well, actually, they’ve been open for over a year but we won’t quibble. We were greeted and seated immediately upon entering. We asked for water and told the server that we were waiting for two other guests to arrive. After about ten minutes, he came by and asked if we’d like to order appetizers for while we waited. While we declined, we did appreciate the thought. Forty minutes later my phone rings and dad asked if we were lost. «No, we’re sitting inside the restaurant. Where are you?», thinking maybe I went to the wrong restaurant? No, «we’re sitting in the parking lot. I didn’t see your car.» Does anyone else have Chinese parents like this? lol. But I digress. How was the food? It was very filling, flavorful and good. Service was reasonably quick and attentive. I had the #0 Phở with Extra Noodles. It comes in a large bowl and has all the usual beef items PLUS oxtail! That, I’ve never had in phở before and I’m a pretty big fan of oxtail. I probably shouldn’t have ordered the extra noodles because I was stuffed to the gills when we were finished. The other items we had were Beef Stew(Vietnamese Style) with Egg Noodles in Soup, Grilled Pork Chop, Shrimp, Fried Chicken Wing & Imperial Roll over Rice with Two Egg Add-on, and Grilled Shrimp, Beef & Imperial Roll over Vermicelli. All were delish! Definitely a place we’ll go back to!

My family and I stopped by here for an early dinner on a Thursday. It wasn’t too crowded so we easily got a table. We were all craving Bun Bo Hue so we ordered 5 bowls and 1 to go. The bowls only came in 1 size and it was huge. way too much for me to finish. Service was good and attentive. We initially only had two plates of veggies to split between 5 people so we asked for more and they happily gave us another plate. The BBH itself was okay, not the best I’ve had. The flavoring was a bit off but I can’t really say what was wrong about it. The bowl had plenty of meat and each bowl even came with two pig trotters, a delicacy of BBH, but they lacked the pork blood. In summary, I would probably not come back here for the BBH specifically but maybe for their phở or other items.
