Il y a aussi la sortie Snorkel qui est bien prisée.
Départ à 15h00, durée environ 4h00 pour un prix de 109 USD par personne.
Le bateau part de Port Alen et vogue en direction du Nord vers la Napali Coast pendant 2H puis revient à son point de départ.
On peut voir des dauphins et la côte est vraiment superbe.
Le buffet est servi au retour et c’est plutôt bon. Boissons (pas d’alcool) en libre service tout au long du voyage.
Le coucher de soleil est sublime et la vue sur l’ile de Kauai est magnifique.
Remarque: ça peut un peu chahuter dans les vagues, penser au médoc anti mal de mer pour ceux qui craignent.

We did the daytime picnic snorkel, and it was SO. GREAT. The crew (Sterling, Robert & Calvin) were super casual, very smart, very funny, and very kind /​helpful. They were great with the kids on the boat, great at spotting ops to stop and see the fishes & such, very generous, and made sure everyone (even the pukers) had a good time. We saw 2 kinds of dolphins, humpbacks in the distance, an albatross, some sea turtles, and a TIGER SHARK. (Saw the shark a long distance away from /​after snorkeling — no fear.) If I could afford it, I would do this every day of our trip.
Also, if you forget to get cash to leave a tip, you can tip with a credit card at the main office /​gift shop. SO HELPFUL.

My family and I did the six hour zodiac raft tour yesterday. Originally we were supposed to do the trip up to the Na Pali Coast, but weather conditions did not permit it and we ended up sailing to the South Shore. While I can’t comment on the North Shore experience, I can say that we had an amazing adventure and this trip definitely makes it near the top of my list of the coolest things I’ve experienced in my life (and it is a pretty cool list). Captain Kalen and Captain Nicole were excellent and our whole family, including my very young cousins, had a blast the entire day. They were very knowledgable and we all felt at ease and taken care of during our time together. We saw humpback whales, spinner dolphins, and snorkeled with some really cool sea turtles. This is definitely a must do when you’re on Kauai and I highly recommend this trip to anyone.

I live on island and whenever I have guests in town, this is who I tell them to go sailing with. And most of the time, I will go too. It’s that fun! Great crews with awesome chefs. My last cruise was exceptional. Captain Tony was incredibly entertaining and kept everyone laughing and enjoying the day, despite the sun not coming out for the first half. We had an incredible whale watching experience and countless dolphins. Great time, every time. I love this company and wouldn’t send my loved ones anywhere else.

We did both Capt Andy’s catamaran from the south side of Kaua’i and a small boat tour from the north side (where we stayed). Both were great, but if I was doing one, it would be the small boat tour that sails into the sea caves, versus Andy’s that is far too large. Couple of «downsides» for Andy’s: Because the boat’s so large, it can’t anchor in the smaller coves, so the snorkeling was basically over lava flows. They did offer scuba as an option (and a pricey one at $ 80 or so per person), and since there was no coral reef where we dove, it was hardly worth the additional cost to snorkel. We did see dolphins and turtles, but most of the time was spent gawking at Na’ Pali while frantically taking as many pictures as possible. All in all, it was a fun time, can’t go wrong viewing such a singularly wonderful area, but if I was only doing one cruise, it’d be from the North Shore.

Professional from beginning to walking us safely across the street at the end. Cleanest ship bathroom ever. Stunning views and even though the seas were swelling, the crew went out of their way to attend to those who were a little sea sick and even wrapped up a lunch for my daughter to eat later when her stomach settled. They definitely were well trained at serving their customers and were constantly offering drinks, clearing played, and making conversation with us. So friendly and attentive. Great trip!

This zodiac rafting was one of the most fun thing I did in Kauai. If you like adrenalin stuff, must do it! I went with captain Alison and Kamalei, Alison’s raft control was on point, both were very fun and knowledgeable. Napali cost view was breath taking and that alone, it’s so worth it. We saw lots of whales, dolphins, and see turtles, checked out sea caves, did beach landing and snorkeling. Little walk to ancient Hawaiian village site was pretty cool. I have to say I really enjoyed every moment of this trip. Another awesome thing was, I get motion sickness pretty bad from any moving things even with medicine but I did not feel sick at all on this. (I took medicine, of course). So, don’t miss out this adventure. I am definitely doing it again this summer when I get back to Kauai.

my boyfriend and I was born and raised here on the island of Kauai, I’ve been on whale watching trips a few times before. The bf however only went on fishing boats (you can totally say he was EXCITED! Lol) We booked for the Na Pali Tour and snorkel but when we checked in at 715am the waters were just to rough for us to head north! It was a bummer because I’ve never been /​seen the Napali Coast. But hey! Captain had other plans to head out to south shore and over to KIPU Kai, it was amazing! We also got to see 4 – 5 breaching whales too! Captain Kawika and the crew (Roy, Tyler, and Bobby) was as good as it gets! Funny and professional & They work like they really do love their jobs! ! Even if we were the only locals playing tourists that day they knew how to make us feel comfortable too! Lol! We will be booking again hopefully for the Napali Coast Tour!!! Thanks again CAPT ANDY TOURS! :)

So glad we did this… we had a great dinner with drinks. A wonderful sunset with whales and spinner dolphins. unfortunatly the seas were a bit crazy near the na pali coast so we went the other way and still had a great time. the staff were great !!!

My family and I just got done with the Sunset Sail Trip and we had such a great time!
We were aboard a beautiful huge catamaran with a friendly hardworking crew. We sailed out of the port and coasted along the southwest side of the island. We saw SO MANY whales breaching, there were times when we were surrounded by the whales on three sides of the boat. We also came across a group of the spinner Dolphins which was really fun! You see all 16 miles of the beach on the southwest side and then go along the majestic Napali Coast.
Our captain as well as the crew were full of great facts about what we were seeing and the marine life.
The food was excellent and the proportions were huge. We had salad, then steak and shrimp, and finished with an amazing cheesecake. We were offered cocktails, soft drinks, beers, and water throughout the trip.
We also saw the sun set on the horizon which was beautiful!
I would highly recommend using Captain Andy’s for the sunset sail!

Had an absolutely wonderful dinner cruise to the Na’Pali Coast. Captain & crew were super-​helpful and fun, the food was 5-​star great. Highly recommended!

We were deciding between the Na Pali coast catamaran and the raft tour. Ultimately we went with the catamaran and it was the perfect choice.
The boat was lovely and spacious. We were lucky enough to snorkel and get the the Na Pali coast (we went in December so the weather could have prevented us form doing it!). We saw a ton of dolphins, a bunch of whales (so lucky!), and even a sea turtle while we were snorkeling.
They provide breakfast (fruit, cinnamon rolls, coffee/​juice) in the morning and then on the way back they set up a little sandwich buffet and more fruit. They served beer and wine. Let me tell you — that sandwich hit the spot! And the bikini blonde ale was delish.
Our tour guides and captain were amazing and attentive (I’m sad to say I cannot remember their names!).
Don’t forget to bring cash to tip them at the end of the day. They work really hard throughout the day and definitely deserve it.

This was the highlight of our trip and it was worth every penny! We did the picnic lunch day sailing on the Napali Coast. We weren’t able to go snorkeling because of the conditions and I was pretty bummed about it; however, our Captain totally made up for it! We found sea turtles and dolphins. We even thought we found a shark, but then we couldn’t find it again. The fresh pineapple and sandwiches were delicious and so enjoyable. Bring sunscreen though because you will get some sun! There were two people who got sea sick pretty bad, which was a bummer. We felt so bad for them.
One of the best parts of this was our Captain let us lay down on our bellies facing the front of the ship while we were sailing and you hold on tight. When you hit big waves you kind of fly up like Superman. It was seriously a blast. I ended up with skinned elbows from them rubbing on the boat, but it was so worth it.
Needless to say, don’t skip this excursion. I love catamarans so I might be bias, but this was AWESOME.

Definitely worth the trip and money! Waves looked rough on land but glad we didn’t cancel. It was rough in the sea but take some anti-​nausea medicine and a little something in your stomach before heading off, and you’ll be good! staff was pleasant and knowledgeable about the land; drink and food were on point given the situation (steak wasn’t piping hot but still VERY good and with the shrimp it was great!).

All adjectives put aside… THE BEST to do in Kauai. The catamarans are superb and I had an awesome 4 hours. The crew members were very helpful and caring… Just Excellent. I had taken the Northstar sunset dinner cruise. The food was good with unlimited drinks. The narration by the captain was informative.
We just didn’t see dolphins, we also saw whales, not one or two, but three. Thanks to the watchful eyes of the captain!

The bellman at our hotel (Westin Princeville) recommended this trip and we are SO GLAD that he did! We immediately made it for the following day because we were unsure of how the weather would be during our stay and we wanted to get it out of the way.
When we checked in, I spotted some Bonine and was (THANKFULLY) able to talk my friends into taking it as a pre-​causion. All I can say is that it was our saving grace. The waves were crazy big, and the entire boat was dropping like flies left and right. And by dropping, I mean running to the back of the boat. Even if you are skeptical about whether or not you will be sea sick, TAKE THE MEDICINE!
As for the trip– it was an absolute blast. We started the day with snorkeling, then a cruise down the Napali Coast, whale & dolphin watching, a little bit of sailing followed by lunch & bottomless drinks.
Wildlife Spotted: Lots of fish (I will say I was slightly underwhelmed with the snorkeling. Probably great for someone who has never done it before though!), Sea Turtles, a whale and it’s baby (so awesome!!), and tons of dolphins
Food & Drinks: Pastries, Pineapple, Juice and Coffee were out all day to snack on. We had a choice of veggie burger, cheese burger, and chicken sandwich. The burger was great for being grilled on a boat! My friend got the veggie burger and it came with a grilled veggie skewer. I had slight order envy. Beer and wine was bottomless… so… that was good :)
On our way back, we laid on the front trampoline on our tummies and held onto the bungies while going over the waves. I know this sounds silly right now… but DO IT! It was so much fun!
Lastly, our crew was AMAZING. They made the trip so much fun. We had Captain Tony and he kept it informative without making it an annoying tour (plus, he was not too bad to look at!!). Everyone on the boat was telling us their favorite hikes and giving us great insider tips. They were also very attentive and helpful to everyone that was affected by sea sickness.
All in all… DO THIS TRIP! And don’t forget to Bonine :)

Our 3^rd time on Captain Andy’s and the dinner cruise on Northern Star is the best! Highly recommend it. Excellent crew, cocktails, dinner and dessert!
But if you are the slightest sea sick, please take something before you go out…

I would highly recommend Captain Andy’s for a Catamaran adventure! We had a perfect day out on the water, had a chance to see dolphins, a whale and the snorkeling was great too.
This crew went out of their way to make everybody feel very comfortable and well fed.

Ask me what my favorite part of the trip was and I’ll tell you Capt. Andy’s.
My sister & I arrived on the island and immediately went to the activities desk and she recommended we do this before anything else because of the high tide coming up the next couple days. She booked us for the next day & it was the best decision.
We arrived at the dock & they give you dry bags to put all your stuff in, make sure you’re wearing sunglasses & clothes you’re ready to get wet. cause you definitely will! We learned how to ride on the edge of the raft and we were off! They give you gloves on your outter hand to hold on to the rope so you don’t get rope burns and they also give us some rain jackets. cause it rained for… 5 minutes lol.
It’s about a 30 – 40 minute ride along the Na Pali Coast and it’s the most breathtaking thing I’ve seen. The entire coast is filled with so much history & so much beauty. They do stop every 5 – 10 minutes for you to catch your breath and share some fun facts and for you to take pictures.
The coolest part of the raft — for me at least — was seeing the dolphins swim all around the raft. There were tons of them just swimming next to us and it was the most amazing thing I’ve seen. They love the waves the raft gives off & if you have a cool tour guide like we did, they just got in circles and circles for you to watch the dolphins play around.
The next big thing was going in and out of the sea caves… holy shit those things are scary but SO cool. Some are dark and eery while others are dark & filled with light (some with waterfalls, where you can touch). We didn’t know if we would be able to go in them because of the tide, but luckily for us, mother nature was kind. Just remember not to stand and take pictures while in the cave. and set off the weight.
After all the excitement, there was lunch provided, a short nature walk & some snorkeling!
I could go on and on and on but this was by the far one of the coolest things I’ve ever done & will definitely want to come back again.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with a Na Poli Coast sunset cruise on the Northern Star boat from Captain Andy’s. Wow, beautiful views of the coast and they are informative and funny with their knowledge along the coast.
I have to say, I was EXTREMELY impressed with the service. The staff was prompt, courteous, and very fun. The cook served up a mean steak that would rival most sit down restaurants.
Definitely recommend this company!

We definitely wanted to see the Na Pali coast from the water… and since we were staying in Poipu, this sort of day cruise the obvious way to do it.
Overall these folks run a good program as many other reviewers have noted.

— The Na Pali coast was spectacular, as promised
That said, compared to other sail-​and-​snorkel outings I’ve been lucky to try over the years, this one felt most crowded and least relaxing.
— 50 people on our boat; probably a dozen boats that size traveling the same route
— Wind and ocean were rough our day; we clearly had a schedule to keep and kept moving fast
— While along the Na Pali coastline, at least 15 guests were sitting in back with barf bags
— Snorkeling spot was less impressive than many coast-​side ones, felt like a «check the box»
Bottom line, still a pleasant trip and good way to see Na Pali. If you have a group of your own, I’d suggest trying a private charter (maybe this company offers that, not sure) that might be less rushed and more relaxing.
