Beauty In The Raw (Makeup by Kalee) is a traveling and home Makeup and Spa based out of Elgin Illinois. This concept was inspired from Kalee’s own passion for organic and sustainable products. Kalee believes that too often companies sacrifice their personal standards to meet their budget. Here at Beauty In The Raw Kalee’s focus goes beyond her «bottom line» she uses professional and plant based pharmaceutical products that she’s personally believes are safe for your health and the earth. Kalee provides natural and organic options whenever possible. Beauty In The Raw is a growing concept providing lifestyle guidance to promote an overall balance of mind, body and spirit. Kalee believes that true beauty is more than the makeup we wear and the latest trends and that true beauty starts from the inside out. With her background in nutrition and holistic health she will help you feel balanced and renewed.

Business Owner

Kalee has worked as a Makeup Artist with companies Clinique and Studio Gear Cosmetics. She completed her Esthetics schooling at G-​Beauty Institute specializing in custom organics. Since 2010 she has been working hard freelancing with local photographers and building a professional modeling portfolio which includes published work on Italian Vogue online and VintEDGE magazine. While she was freelancing she worked as a full time Esthetician at an Aveda salon preforming waxing and facial services. The Aveda way inspired her holistic route in the skincare industry. After expanding her education by obtaining certifications in Integrative (Holistic) Health and Nutrition she decided to create Beauty In the Raw as a full beauty and health consultation service. Currently she works as a regional Esthetics Trainer and Esthetics Department Manager.
