History

Established in 1986.

David Rice was named Outstanding Senior in Oral Medicine by the American Academy of Oral Medicine when he graduated from University of Illinois School of Dentistry. He began private practice while serving on the University’s faculty in the Department of Oral Diagnosis. He relocated to Elgin, IL in 1986 and established a comprehensive care practice with particular emphasis in sedation dentistry, dental implants, general dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Rice is a recognized mentor by the Center for Advanced Dental Learning, an achievement awarded to fewer than 120 dentists worldwide. He is also a Mentor (CI) at the prestigious Kois Center (Seattle, WA). He has achieved the highest level, accomplished by fewer than 25 dentists worldwide. Dr. Rice is a member of the American Dental Association, American Equilibration Society, Illinois State dental society, and the Chicago dental society. He was named Outstanding Senior in Oral Medicine by the AAOM when he graduated from University of Illinois School of Dentistry. He began private practice while serving on the University’s faculty in the Department of Oral Diagnosis in 1986. In 2013, Dr. Rice was inducted into the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. This is an honor that is not given lightly. In fact, only 165 dentists have been awarded membership into the AARD.
