Fantastic Photos provides creative and unique photography. It specializes in nature photography, children and family portraits, and celebrations.

History

Established in 2009.

Fantastic Photos was established because of the owner’s love of taking all kinds of pictures. Her goal was to share the photos she took with others. She started using a camera when she received one as a present at 8 years of age. After earning a certificate of photography from the Art Institute, she shared her photos at weekend markets, until she opened her shop at State Street.

Business Owner

Marilyn is a freelance photographer and interior designer who loves to do almost anything that is creative. That list includes drawing, painting, acting, singing, playing the piano and keyboard or violin. She is a former teacher (reading and elementary) who also tutors students in reading. She gardens, and likes to read and entertain. She likes to travel, too, which is where she takes a lot of her photos.

Constantly trying to improve her work, she takes classes and workshops from other professional photographers.

Her goal is to share her passion for photography with others, capturing a moment in time, and believing that one picture is really worth more than a thousand words.
