Established in 1995.
Hy-Tech CARSTAR is a family owned business. The owner Joe Maslanka began his auto body career in 1976 with a small 2 man shop on Chicago’s northwest side. He purchased the Elgin location in 1995. Through the years Joe has remodeled and expanded this location to the state of art shop that it is today.

He began his auto body career is 1975 opening Accurate Auto body in Chicago. In 1994 he opened his second location, Hy-Tech CARSTAR in Elgin. Joe completed his final renovation of Hy-Tech in 2005. He is extremely proud of this facility. Joe has been on the board of the Chicagoland Business group for many years. He has been instrumental in the Chicagoland CARSTAR marketing as well as training and education.
