My career in public safety began in 1994 as a volunteer officer with the Village of Lynwood Emergency Services & Disaster Agency (E.S.D.A.) and full-​time employment with National Security, Ltd. (Now Defunct) right out of high school. Within the past 20 years (I can’t believe its been that long) my experience has included being a 911 dispatcher, emergency management director, and various positions in security such as healthcare, college campuses, shopping malls, and other diverse locations.

I began my own private security firm back in 2007 under the name Midwest Protection, Inc. in the State of Indiana. As of April 01, 2014 I changed the company name to Responder Security, Inc. due to fact that I am now licensed in the States of Illinois and Wisconsin as well.
