My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food as well as the service. We had never been here before, but will definitely be going back. This is not a large establishment but the entrees were the best we’ve had in quite a while. I had a rib-eye steak that was cooked and seasoned to perfection, with fresh grilled vegetables and a baked potato(Although, the steak was so big and so delicious I couldn’t stop eating it and had to take my potato home). My husband had the fried oysters which he said were excellent and he really liked the slaw. The price was very reasonable for; a large appetizer(Blooming Onion), two large meals, two beers, two teas and two deserts, plus tax it was around $ 55.00. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The manager came by the table to see how everything was. All in all it was a wonderful meal.

Bistro at The Pines is a restaurant located within The Pines Golf Club. I’ve eaten there in the past but never gave a review. A wedding for some friends took me there this past weekend. Our meal of roast beef, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and roll was great. The beef was fork cutting tender. They also have a huge wood dance floor which is used weekly by ballroom and shag groups in our area. I didn’t give 5 stars because their beer menu is terrible. Not one good craft brew is to be had, but that doesn’t keep me away. They do have a bar that serves wine and mixed drinks. I can’t believe this place hasn’t been reviewed before now.
