History

Established in 2011.

Basic Crating & Packaging is located in Elk Grove Village, IL with over 100,000 sq ft facility that is fully secured and proudly operates as a Bonded Container Freight Station. We have ground level extra wide dock doors to offload trucks inside our warehouse. We have numerous docks for offloading and loading ocean containers, trailers and step-​decks.

Basic Crating & Packaging also concentrates on full plant closures or re-​locations. Our packaging engineers have over 30 years’ experience in walking through each phase of the move. We will handle the machinery cleaning, coordinate the rigging & dismantling, transportation, packing & consolidation, container loading, outbound transportation and coordinate with the freight forwarder handling the international movement overseas. We pride ourselves to assist in these moves because of the challenges to overcome and communicate on what is best for the customer and what works best to get the job done!

My strength is my ability to work with multiple industries in deciding the most cost effective and safe method to crate, pack, and transport their product domestically for preparation for international transportation.

My hands on approach has led my customers to be loyal in working with me on entire plant relocation’s, sensitive materials, as well as million dollars pieces of equipment. I thrive on the final product getting to it’s destination safe and sound.

My specialties are to configure the best to plan to get a shipment from A to Z… Trucking, packing, consolidating, loading ocean containers for Export. I also work up plans for Unloading, De-​vanning, warehousing & distribution for Import shipments with nationwide transportation & warehousing abilities.
