Made-to-order or grab-n-go food at unbeatable prices! What more could you ask for. From wood-fired pizza to soup to salad to burgers, fries, daily specials, gelato, and desserts, almost anyone can find something they like to eat here! The basic lunch suspects: salad, burgers, pasta, pizza etc. run you $ 4 – 5. They’re all in the build-your-own /made-to-order fashion. The burgers remind me of in-n-out since they have thousand island dressing and the fries are also freshly cut. The pizzas are surprisingly good, and sometimes the crust turns out bubbly and crisp, but most of the time it’s flat. The crust is super thin, so even though the pizza looks huge at 12 inches, it’s actually a good size for lunch. They also do a really good job of making the bottom of the pizza evenly dry and crisp. The crust is so good I usually eat it all. Pro tip: you can also get items from the salad bar to add onto the pizza! The daily specials are one of the most expensive at a whole $ 6! Their specials are quite multi-cultural, with something new and surprising every day like brisket, citrus salmon, rotisserie chicken, paella, german sausages… it could be anything the chefs dream up! If you’re on a budget or in a pinch, you can grab a large soup for $ 2 and all the bread rolls you can eat for FREE! You could splurge on dessert, which could be anywhere from $ 1 for a small cup of gelato(1.5 scoops) or $ 3.50 for a huge box of tiramisu. The $ 2 chocolate bars are killer, but a great pick-me-up for one of those days. It’s probably better that they charge more for the sweets, because it helps to curb the unhealthy cravings. And I haven’t even gotten to the drinks yet — smoothies, fresh squeezed juices, coffee, and espressos, it’s quite a large selection. Prices for these are more standard, but still discounted: $ 2.50 for a latte and $ 4 for a 12oz smoothie. One gripe is that the trash cans are not very user-friendly. The rectangular bins are for trays and pizza boxes only(flat items), but they are green so it looks like all compostable items should be tossed in there. Instead, the rest of the compostable items are thrown into a cylindrical stainless steel trash can. I get a bit of cognitive dissonance every time I throw away my compostable items into an unmarked stainless steel bin. I’ve seen at least two other people make the mistake of throwing other compostables into the rectangular bins instead, so I’m not the only one! Other downside is that it closes at 4pm…
