John A Oshetski, DDS, MSD

Truly the best orthodontist I’ve ever been to. I had braces about 10 years ago. I also had to have jaw surgery because of an underbite. They walked me through everything and made the process as easy as possible. I recently had a relapse with my jaw and went back to see Dr. O. He has been so wonderful to me and making me feeling like everything will be ok. He is working with me to find the best solution.
The atmosphere is fantastic. I don’t dread going there. Everyone that works there seems to love it and they are so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Oshetski.

Dr. Oshetski knows his stuff and has an answer/​solution for any orthodontic problem you might have. He took on the remainder of my daughter’s ortho care after we moved from Northern CA and was willing to take on a challenging ortho case with my son. He came recommended from my daughter’s old ortho as well as their pediatric dentist who was located in the Sacramento area. For two dentists in two different communities outside of Elk Grove to recommend the same ortho and only him was just crazy. I thought this guy must be good if two people who didn’t know each other knew how good Dr. O was. He is also fair on working out a payment plan for those who don’t have ortho insurance and have to pay out of their own pocket.

I have been going to Dr. Oshetski since I was around 7 years old and I am just about to start my second phase of braces at 19 years old (which I put off because I didn’t want braces in high school). In all that time I have never had a bad experience with Oshetski or his staff. His staff is very good at scheduling appointments quickly if a dental emergency comes up and always greet you with a smile at the door. Dr. Oshetski is always very welcoming and friendly and wants to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience. I would recommend him to anyone who needs or is considering orthodontic works

Started coming here over 6 years ago when I first got braces. I started coming here again recently to fix some of my teeth that have moved. I was expecting to have to get braces but Dr. O looked over my X-​rays and found a solution that would save a lot of money and time. He just genuinely seems to want to help everybody, and he makes the dreary orthodontist seem like a fun place! Their new office is really nice too and really up-​to-​date much like their last location.

My son just started his ortho treatment and we couldn’t be more pleased with everything. The staff & Dr. are GREAT. They are accommodating, and take the time to explain everything. Will definitely recommend them to friends/​family.

We are very happy with the whole orthodontic ‘experience’ here. The staff are Professional and courteous which help make my daughter very comfortable. Office staff are informative and greet us with smiles. Dr Oshetski is very knowledgable and communicates with my 10 year old very well being professional as well as humorous. We have never had to wait more than 5 minutes and most often we walk in and are seen immediately.

We love this place. Just starting on our second child in the new and very green office on Laguna Springs Dr.

This is my 3^rd kid with my 3^rd orthodontist, Dr. Oshetski is by far the best!!! Your appt time is actually your appt time, you never wait which is really important to me! The office and Orthodontist really respect the fact that you are the customer and they treat you accordingly! They take the time to find out what your needs are, they are priced competitively and they treat you with respect at every appointment! I LOVE this place and wish all of my kids could have been at this office. Take the time for a consult, I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

My 2 kids (ages 10 and 14) have been going to Dr. O’s office for over a year now for orthodontics (expanders, braces and retainers). I love the service (super friendly and comfortable), and especially how honest the office is about their fees and billing processes — I’ve never had a «billing surprise». Plus, the office is always so clean and appointments are always on time, which is very important to me. My kids like going because Dr. O and his staff treat them with respect, while keeping the visits enjoyable but to the point. I highly recommend Dr. O’s office.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Oshteski’s for about seven years. She has gone through spacing, phase one, retainers, phase two, and we are currently still being seen for retainers. I could not have been happier with her progress, the staff, or Dr. Oshteski. She has never complained about going for her ortho visits and she has even been motivated to take better care of her teeth. There was no doubt that our daughter needed phase one, however, when it came to phase two, Dr. Oshteski said it was our choice and never tried to «sell» us on the absolute necessity of phase two. By this time we completely trusted him and went on to phase two. I recommended a friend take her son to Dr. Oshteski and Dr. Oshteski really worked with him (at no charge) before it was determined that further treatment was necessary. Dr. Oshteski is concerned about what is right for the patient/​family and I have really appreciated that!

I have been taking my children to Dr. Oshetski’s for over 10 years. He and his staff are amazing; they not only know their patients, but also the family/​parent. One of my children is congenitally missing 4 teeth in her lower jaw — Dr. Oshetski monitored her development beginning when she was 5 or 6. She is now 17 and her mouth (& bite) are beautiful! And no, we did not pay an outlandish fee. In fact, through an insurance we have I could have taken my children to an orthodontist within the plan and paid next to nothing. We chose Dr. Oshetski and his staff instead. They have shown that they truly care for their patients and the families of their patients.

Came here on a referral. Just started my second child here, and have referred lots of others. Great new office, same great staff that makes it fun for the kids, and gets you in and out on time. Dr. Oshetski clearly cares about his patients and makes sure you are happy with the results.

Dr. O is the BEST! He takes SUCH great care of all the kids that he takes care of! My 9 year old just started phase one of a year and a bit process of ortho. She is a timid little girl… Dr. O and his staff has made her very comfortable, even when they are installing major hardware in her mouth. This is such a great dental office. Always, good times visiting Dr. O.

This is a great dental office.
I did Invisalign through this place. Their payment plan does not include tons of hidden fees, and the service is beyond excellent. The nurses remembered my name and history like they had a photographic memory. Dr. Oshetski himself strikes me as very competent and very charismatic. The entire office exudes positive energy, the likes of which I have not experienced in any clinic/​office, dental or otherwise.
You won’t be disappointed.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Oshetski because of my TMJ (temporal mandibular joint) problems along with my constant teeth grinding and clenching. If I don’t get some help, my stressful life will wear away my molars!
I was very nervous for my consultation appointment. I couldn’t imagine that anything could be done for someone at my age. Even though this practice was quite busy, I was greeted by friendly (and calming) staff members. The office was decorated in a colorful tropical theme meant for children, but there were clients present of all ages.
I received a very thorough exam that included full mouth with skull radiographs. Multiple angles of the jaw, that I didn’t know I had. 2 different technicians prepared me for the doctor to ask questions, perform an exam and give all the options available. Braces at my age? Who’d a thunk!
Dr. Oshetski was the best! Fun, friendly, AND nice to look at! He was very informative and knowledgeable about my concerns. He made me feel quite comfortable to think about my alternatives and to make a decision that I thought would be in my best interest. They had several ways to help people out financially if dental insurance is not available or qualified. Orthodontics is not cheap, but I’ve seen what’s involved and it may be well worth a nice smile! My sister, brother-​in-​law, and my wonderful nephew have all been patients here.
