History

Established in 2007.

Thanks for checking out my family own and run Moore’s Karate of Elk Grove. We currently have 13 black belts that range from 1^st degree to 6^th degrees as well as 14 Jr. & Adult Instructors.

Our self-​defense and fitness programs are based upon Shou Shu Kung Fu. Shou Shu is the only martial art that has all 7 fight beasts. Although the teaching methods have been modernized, the style has not been watered down to sports karate or exhibition arts, which is a sad fate a huge percentage of martial arts schools have fallen victim to.

Shou Shu is an extremely effective self defense art for the modern day practitioner. Whether your searching for a quick self defense art or one to study and follow for a lifetime, Shou Shu is one of the most sophisticated systems.

Being the head instructor of the Elk Grove school, I feel an atmosphere that is comfortable and non-​militaristic makes learning fun and exciting for all age levels. People learn more in a comfortable environment.
