Irene is a godsend!
I have problem eyebrows. Due to over plucking when I was younger, they no longer extend very far across my brow ridge, Left in the hands of lesser talented aestheticians, they can either look like short stubby caterpillars or thin lines across my broad forehead. Irene is one of the VERY few who can actually make my eyebrows look sculpted without appearing artificial. I finally feel confident that my eyebrows look nice and professional.
Her prices are also VERY reasonable. I got an eyebrow and lip wax for $ 15. Her work area is clean and well maintained.
My sister, who has the prettiest eyebrows, has been going to Irene for over 10 years. I don’t know why I haven’t gone to her sooner.

Irene is amazing! Like a lot of her other clientele I have been going to Irene’s 10+ and counting. I don’t trust my eyebrows to anyone else since most tend to over pluck and leave you looking very surprised. Her facials work wonders. Irene’s prices are reasonable and never keeps you waiting. Shonali’s is a gem in Elk Grove.

What a great lady and full of confidence in her waxing, putting you at ease during a Brazilian, my very first. It’s awkward but you are very relaxed cause no job is done till it all comes off. I have referred a lot of my friends n all have experienced complete satisfaction. Her massages are soothing n affordable, other employees are quite nice and set a welcoming atmosphere. Thanks Irene n keep on waxing.

To be honest I never wanted to tell my friends about this place and Irene (the owner and my beautiful waxer) because I don’t want to share her!!! Irene is so amazing, her salon is always clean, we’ve become such good friends over the years. I moved to San Francisco and STILL drove out there to get waxed. Now I live in Fresno and as hard as it is I still manage to drive there. She makes sure she doesn’t miss a single hair trust me. She knows how to shape my brows, I can go on for a while. Irene is so pleasant and her room is so comfortable. Ok I’m done!

My first visit here was yesterday for a brazilian wax. I had made an appointment and Irene unlocked the door to let me in at 5:30, as there were no other clients inside at the time.
She was very friendly and sociable, as waxing can be a little nerve racking and the waxer, as I am sure they are trained, should be chatting a little with the waxee. I mean, it’s going to be somewhat painful regardless, but its nice, in my opinion, when the waxer actually talks to you instead of you just laying there on the table in butterfly position.
The room was clean and she used the wax along with strips. I like that it is affordable, at $ 35. I will be coming back, especially since European Wax Center raised their rates back in February and I did not want to invest in another wax pass. Thanks, Irene!

I’ve been going to Irene for several years. Irene does the most beautiful eye brows around. The salon is clean and nice. The prices are very reasonable. Irene is gentle but very thorough. I highly recommend her!

Irene gives the best facials I have ever had. She is not afraid of extacting the yuck off of your face. Irene has integrity and will always put 100% effort in anything she does. You never have to worry about anything being unsanitary. She is honest and makes you feel at home, while she makes you look and feel better. I have been to many salons, and nothing compares to Irene.

Irene was my first and the only person who has done my Brazilian wax and I love her! I’ve been going to her for over 13 years and she’s been through my break ups to me graduating from high school and college. She is very accomodating and will do same day appointments if you call early in the day. The place is sanitary and Irene also gets all the extra hair that the wax doesn’t get. She’s also very friendly and gentle. Of course getting a Brazilian is painful but the more you go, the less it hurts.

I’ve been going to Irene for many years. I first met her when she worked for Kim’s Total Salon & was super happy to find out that she had opened her own salon. Irene is extremely friendly, sweet, personable & professional. My eyebrows always look amazing when I leave. I can’t believe it’s only $ 9 for an eyebrow wax. My eyebrows are always beautifully shaped after she’s done with me. I should go more often.

I can’t say enough about Irene’s talent… not to mention her reasonable prices! I found her in 2004 when I got a gift certificate for a facial at another salon and followed her when she opened Shanoli’s! Since then she had been waxing my eyebrows and I constantly get compliments from others. When I moved to Redding a few years ago I tried someone locally… bad mistake! I was left with burn marks! Needless to say that I went back to Irene for my eyebrow shaping needs… she was well worth the 3 hour drive! I’ve since moved back to Elk Grove and continue to use Irene for my eyebrow shaping!

She does the best eyebrows, Brazilian & bikini waxes and massages ever!!! The salon is clean, sanitary, professional and friendly. I have been going to Irene for waxing, facials and massages for 12 years. I was ecstatic when she opened up her own salon several years back. Her waxing technique is virtually painless and her massages are wonderfully relaxing. The salon is very clean and sanitary. I always leave feeling very pampered. Irene comes HIGHLY recommended for all esthetician needs.

I love this salon/​spa. The owner, Irene, I have been going to for years. I followed her from a previous place she worked. I live in Sacramento but drive (and it’s very hard with my schedule) to see her. She has my loyalty. All of their services are professionally done and as near perfect as you can get. Waxing is not a pleasant experience but Irene handles it better than anyone I’ve been to. Kudos to Shonalis!

I was referred to Irene through my friend about 3 years ago and never went anywhere else. I live in Stockton so I drive 30 mins each way to see her. She is one of the best Estheticians out there. I get my eyebrows, legs and most important my Brazilian waxes done by Irene. I am a faithful customer of the Brazilain wax and would trust no one else but her. She has never burned or pulled skin like other places do. Irene is absolutely Fabulous!!!

I can’t say enough about Irene, she is an amazing esthetician and does an amazing job every time! Her Brazilian wax are unbeatable, I’ve been to the overpriced salons down town and the over marked salon like mellow me out & by far she’s the best at a very reasonable price w/​out loosing the quality! I don’t know how many years I’ve been going to her but let’s just say she’s been w me through 2 break ups and finally a winner/​hubby! I live in east sac and she is the only reason I venture out to Elk Grove…
