Established in 2013.

Since inception in 2004, The Glass Guru has been a pioneer in window restoration technology, becoming the first US based company to offer moisture removal for failed dual-​pane windows and significantly improving upon the process and technology in the years to follow. The company has also developed its own products for hard water stain removal as well as scratch removal for glass, winning the 2010 Glass Magazine Readers Choice Award for its products in the category of Glass Restoration.

Glass Guru does awesome work and are a very professional group of guys with great customer service. I had a shower door installed and there was a couple of little issues here and there but overall they stuck with there word and finished the job.

Although they claim to be able to repair old wooden sash windows, it’s a lie. All they wanted to do was replace them with vinyl windows which is against city code because my property is a historic building, yet they ignored what I said and kept saying change the windows, which would have gotten me fined by the city. But they went even farther, when the owner (Breck) and this very disheveled looking partner/​carpenter (the guy literally looked like a bum off the street) came out to the property something offensive happened, at one point I turned my back to them to walk to another room and they shook their heads at each other like I was crazy for saying that the windows should be repaired. That shows you how disrespectful they are, my contractor saw them shaking their heads at me when they thought that no one was looking. That was very disrespectful and unprofessional and they were totally unhelpful in the end. I ended up getting them repaired by a very good sash window repairman that I found online elsewhere. I would never recommend these guys to anyone.

I can’t comment on their service because it never happened.
I’m a real estate agent and we’re in contract on a property. The home inspection called out 2 windows, so I needed to get quotes to provide to my clients so they can decide who to go with to complete the work required. I explained to the person on the phone at Glass Guru that this is very time sensitive as we need to give an answer to the seller whether we were moving forward with this repair or not. On Monday, Glass Guru said they could go out on Tuesday (the next day) and give me the quote that night. Tuesday came and I never received any call or quotes. On Wednesday afternoon I called and asked if anyone had went out there to give a quote. They said no one was able to go out there. Thats it? No explaination? No trying to win back my service? OKkkkkk sooo is anyone going to go out there today? Was anyone going to call me today to tell me they had ran out of time yesterday??? I asked when can they go out there? They said we can PROBABLY get someone out there today and then send the quote tomorrow. Omg, another couple more days.
I don’t have time for this.

instead of trying to sell me on a giant window installation, the tech that came out and explained to me the many options that I had. From the moment I called, until when the tech came out, there was constant communication and professionalism .

Breck was a good guy to do business with. Even with a couple VERY minor mishaps, he and his employee made the entire process low key and simple. Their prices are better than other bids I received. I will use the glass guru for future window (glass) and screens needs.

We are very pleased with the work done at our house this week. From the estimator Breck to Kim at the office to the installers, Rusty & Armando it was a pleasant experience. All were polite, helpful and showed up in the window time frame given. We will certainly be using THE GLASS GURU’S again!

If you want to get your window purchase here just forget it, i have my window install here the owner guy Breck did really bad job, not look like a professional at all the frame cheap off the next day, doesnt glue it really well, i recommend if you want to chance the window you have to remove the old frame you think you save your money but it turn out bad! I think you should go to homedepot better ! So dissapoint. think about it

Using this company turned out to be a major mistake. I was selling my Elk Grove home and needed some window repairs — the seals were leaking on some of the double-​pane windows and I had some bad hard water spotting on others. Glass Guru gave me an estimate — over $ 1000 but I did need a number of windows repaired or replaced. The first «glitch» — he failed to show up at all on the day promised, claiming a «misunderstanding.» On the second attempt he did show but two hours late. Rushed through the job — he had other places to be I guess, not doing all of the work promised. When I went to settle the bill he informed me that he had charged my credit card in advance of doing the work for the full charges rather than a deposit for materials. A day or so after the work had been done rubber seals started falling out of the repaired or replaced windows. I called three times leaving messages on voicemail informing him he needed to repair his defective work. He never called back. I guess Glass Guru took the money and ran.
Avoid this company like the plague!
