I was very impressed by the welcoming and professional atmosphere the Doctor has going on at his office. I got a tour and he explained everything that would be transpire during my visit. I look forward to my second visit.

I am verklempt over the service and attention received as a patient. Dr. Wright is a consummate professional, and eager to answer any/​all questions you may have. The business is inviting, and very nicely appointed. The moment you walk in you know you are going to be taken care of.
What I really appreciate is that Dr. Wright speaks from «experience» and what I mean by that is he experienced first hand (pun intended) the benefits of chiropratice care from an auto accident he was in. His wife/​partner Mandy provides a massage service, and their resting/​zero gravity chairs in the «dark» room as I call it, have put me to sleep every time I visit.
He takes time to ensure you understand the anatomy and what you’ll be experiencing while under his care. This thoughtfulness is typically followed up with either an email or phone call — NO JOKE!
I cannot recommend him highly enough… give them a call or visit, you’ll be glad you did. :)

For anyone who knows me, I love to read Unilocal reviews for places but it is a rarity for me to actually take the time to write reviews. This has changed because Dr. Wright and Mandy are just THAT good. If I could give them 10 stars I would!
I got into my first car accident 2 months ago and was pretty lost with the whole process afterwards in regards to insurances and settlements. It was just a stressful and upsetting time for me. I was looking for a Chiropractor in Sacramento and I happened upon the Unilocal page for «The Specific» after much searching. Everything looked good — they had multiple reviews, and 5 stars. I scrolled through and read the reviews and each one raved about how wonderful Dr. Wright and Mandy were.
After 2 months of care from them, I am happy to report that I can write my own glowing review from a personal standpoint. Dr. Wright and Mandy are amazing! They take the time to get to know you on a personal level and much more than just caring for their practice, they care about you as an individual and seeing that you get better. They are extremely personable, genuine, honest, and friendly which makes for a very relaxing and trusting environment to be around. Dr. Wright does a thorough examination during your first visit and does a great job explaining everything he’s doing and the importance of each exam he does. You even get a folder for yourself with your findings so you are both on the same page. In addition, Mandy is great at her massages! After the car accident I had many aches and pains in my back and she does a wonderful job at massaging that out, she even uses hot stones which are awesome! Their facility is always SO clean and tidy (and I mean every room, even the bathroom), and the reception area comes with fortune cookies (so good), water, and hot apple cider (though this is probably seasonal).
So I’d just like to say that if you are looking for a Chiropractor, stop your searching, do yourself a favor and choose Dr. Wright & Mandy — you most definitely will not regret it, and it will be a choice that you’re glad you made. I’m sure glad I did!

After seeing multiple doctors for years for a back and foot injury that never seemed to improve it is nice to know I don’t have to take medicine that doesn’t work or have surgery that may not help to get relief and long term treatment. Dr. Bryan Wright and masseuse Mandy Wright are AMAZING! I got into a car accident on 7.18.2015 and suffered from whiplash. A couple days later I was in the office getting X-​rays and all that. They really made it a priority to make sure I get treatment asap before my condition got worse. Dr. Bryan made sure to explain EVERYTHING to me. He showed me how the neck and back bones work and how they should be positioned. He then showed me an X-​ray of my neck vs. a neck at perfect position. He assured me that we would customize a plan specific to me to get me back in shape. So far I’ve had about 4 visits and a massage. They always ask me how things are feeling, where my most tender/​painful spots are and even called me to see how I was feeling after the first adjustment. I 100% recommend them to EVERYONE! They have built a wonderful and honest business and are dedicated to heeling!

I was in a car crash where the driver behind me did not prepare to stop at the stop sign and rear-​ended me at a very high speed. I was then injured in my neck and lower back. I would experience periodic back spasms and neck pain. It was a sharp, piercing pain like something I’ve never had before. I then knew I needed to find an amazing Chiro right away.
I attempted to do ample research to find a locally reknown Chiropractor who would really fit my needs and offer a good range of services. There are actually several Chiros within walking distance from home and I did try a different Doctor prior but found the experience and care really lackluster. Although the doctor was extremely nice, I knew it wasn’t the right fit. I was impressed by the reviews on Specific Chiropractic Center and I couldn’t imagine never meeting with Dr. Wright.
It will not be your typical chiropractor, where they do a quick exam on your skeletal structure and then give you those «quick fixes». Dr. Wright allows your body to relax before performing his in depth and thorough exam on your musculoskeletal system and any other problem areas. From that point on, he decides if your body absolutely requires an adjustment or alignment. He documents each visit in great detail to really track your progress over time, makes such a big difference.
Dr. Wright has a x-​ray room, massage therapy, and the relaxtiom room. The relaxation room is where you will lay back in ergonomic chairs while tranquil music is playing. Its easy to take a power nap or get some quick e-​mails done.

I came here after being in a five car accident on the freeway, my car was sandwiched between the two cars in front and behind me. My neck and back was in pretty bad condition.
Dr. Wright and his staff were a key part of my healing process. They were very friendly and professional. They made sure I got the right amount of care to get me back to my active lifestyle. More importantly I was very comfortable with his level of expertise. I felt he genuinely cared about my health. I never felt rushed. He took as long a time as necessary to to treat me at every one of my appointments. He took the time to explain to me what was happening within my body and also the procedures he was performing.
I don’t think I can really get back to my pre-​accident condition after being in the one I was in, but with Dr. Wright’s care, now I’m back to being able to play the sports I enjoy and have a pretty normal lifestyle.
The office is nice, very clean, and very relaxing, especially the post treatment lounge. :-)

Of course after settling my accident case I would have neck and shoulders issues again! Thank God I have Dr. Wright to help me get through my week without overdosing on pain medications!

What an amazing married duo that runs this place! I can admit that the way they arrange things and their process is a little different then when I expected. The husband does the adjustments and the wife does the massages. And they both feel great.
First you will go in for a consult. The best part about this office is that they do X-​rays there themselves! Then you come back for your next visit and that’s when you will start your treatment. He sits you on a chair and finds the spot you need work on. For me it was my right shoulder from a fender bender that triggered my hurt. He doesn’t do the snapping thing like most other chiropractors do. I can’t explain how he does it but it is different. Most people might not like it but it works very well actually! Then he sets you in another room so your body can heal from the treatment. It’s a private room with music in the background. You sit about 15 mins in a recliner chair. I honestly almost fell asleep a couple of times.
Then they have you come back and do a massage with the wife if you need that accommodation. The wife massages you for about an hour and puts on music and talks to you also. While you are done with that treatment you will go back to the private room and rest that off for about 15 minutes.
Please go to these guys. Honestly if I had money I would go every so often to relax my body and get adjusted also. They are a great team!

Best of the best I wish I lived closer so I can come more. Dr. Bryan is amazing and the only person I trust touching my back, I’ve been to othere’s and I wake up sore or can’t lay down right and his wife is amazing at massages!!! its a must have combo guarantee you’ll feel comfortable and satisfied! i recommend calling to make an app. And get both, be sure to drink a lot of water before hand, after the message you’ll feel great, soo relaxed, and you can feel all the negative/​bad chemicals coming out, you guys def got love from the bay!

MIGRAINES headache are no joke! Got my appt to visit Dr. Wright… Wow he is my life saver! I got migraine for years turn to md all they give you is strong pain pill to take and it would make me feel more sick! After seeing Dr. Wright pills free, Visiting him once a week my migraine has help my pain completely, I denifely would recommend Dr. Bryan Wright.

Dr. Brian did literally everything that he could for me, but through 20 years of rough-​housing, my spine was beyond chiropractic care. Instead of stringing me along and trying to keep me coming back, it was HIS suggestion to have me check things out with a surgeon.

My wife went in for some lower back pains and with only a couple visits she was compliant free! This was such a relief to, obviously her, and to me as well. You know what they say «Happy wife, happy life!»

4 years ago I was diagnosed with Lupus along with several other health ‘problems’. I hadn’t turned 30 years of age yet and all I wanted to do was roll over and give up. I was taking on average 2 Percocet a day and failing to live a full exciting life in my late twenties.
My first visit with Bryan was almost 2 years ago and I remember telling him if he could eliminate my pain by 50% I would pay all the money in the world. I call his office asking for a same day appointment, he’s personally answer the phone and asked some questions about my problem and he opened a space in his time to check me in.

Since from the start I was impress with his professionalism and customer service skills.
He explain his process in details, I personally like that kind of approach, I felt very confortable with Dr. Wright.

So a little background on my part, I’ve been in numerous car accidents in my younger not so careful years, I was in the Army (which isn’t so wonderful on your back), and I’m a mechanic. all adding up to tons of neck and back problems. Over the years I started to develop constant headaches which eventually led to migraines. I thought I’d just have to live with the pain. It was almost ²⁴⁄₇ until I was recommended to try general chiropractic at another place. The results were surprisingly good. But after a short amount of time the headaches started to get fairly common again. At which time I figured there had to be something more. My girlfriend had been a patient of Dr. Wright for awhile and told me to go see him. From the first second I walked in the door I felt comfortable and very welcome. You are treated as if you are the only patient. Very personal. Amazingly after the first adjustment I noticed a decrease in my headaches. And in the past few months it has only gotten better. I have very few headaches (mostly self inflicted… hangovers) and when I do the intensity is way less than they used to be.
I couldn’t be happier with the caring personal service that I receive from Dr. Wright and Mandy. The two of them are wonderful and both have magic hands. If you ever need a massage, be sure to talk to Mandy.
Just the whole idea of upper cervical adjustments makes so much more sense. And the visual aids, information, and scans that you get from Dr. Wright make it easy to understand and you can actually see the progress that is happening. I couldn’t be happier and I would recommend anyone with any sort of back or neck problems to at least go in and see him. You won’t be disappointed in the slightest.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this review. So I will start with a little background. I’m under Kaiser insurance and after over 3 years with a growing shoulder/​neck problem and over 5+ Kaiser providers telling me there was nothing they could do and I would have to pop medication for the rest of my life. and that I was going to be most likely crooked when I got older… I was fed up.
I was horribly terrified of Chiropractic services in general, I’ve seen a friend get a jarring neck adjustment from a different sort of Chiropractor and have been scared stiff every since. With my frustration growing though I decided to check Unilocal out. I quickly searched for chiropractic services in Elk Grove after coming from one of my last Kaiser appointments in complete disgust with my treatment… I lucked out in landing on The Specific Chiropractic services, read a few reviews and looked over their websites. Then I called immediately!
Dr. Wright warmly answered the phone. I quickly explained a brief synopsis of my history and what was occurring. my fears and concerns… all the while in tears of anger, frustration and sadness, clearly upset. Dr. Wright stuck with me and suggested I come in for an initial evaluation. He didn’t promise he could help me, but he said that it sounded like he most likely COULD actually help me. I scheduled my appt for that same week. He emailed me the New Patient form to complete (online or printed out and written) and I brought that and myself to the first appointment.
My first appointment Dr. Wright spent over 5+ hours with me. Going over EVERYTHING. He was pretty confident that he could actually provide some help, so we moved forward! OH BOY HAS HE EVER HELPED ME!!! Tremendous amount of relief from my major symptoms! ADDED BONUS — symptoms I didn’t even cosider symptoms relieved themselves. He is very thorough and answers any and all questions that you might have. If you think of something later just send an email or call him over the phone. or even pop by to see him if you have some time he is always happy to see you and catch up.
I’m in full remission as they say and my body has almost completely healed itself. I am an advocate for people owning their share of responsibility for their own health. After Kaiser told me there was nothing that could be done and I was backed into a painful corner. the care, compassion, intellect and genuine understanding of the body that Dr Wright and the Specific Chiropractic Centers have… I am forever thankful that we found each other!

I’m a regular at The Specific. Been coming here for my check-​ups w/​Dr. Wright. Knew they had a masseuse; Mandy. Since I recently started my second job, I’ve been moving around a lot and needed to get my muscles relaxed. I thought I’d give it a shot. I have to say, it was my first, to ever get a hot stone massage and it was great. Mandy was able to help the tensions in my mid back and made it feel relief. I must say, I just started but I am looking forward on booking more appointments w/​her in the future. I really recommend those who wants a massage and need to get those tensions out in your body, come see Mandy!

Bonus effects of The Specific — Go in for a adjustment and as a bonus my sinuses cleared. What???
My right side is a hot mess and was the original reason I started seeing Dr. Wright. After his care my right side was pain free. (See my original post below). So I figured that I can stop seeing Dr. Wright since I felt so good.
Since about June, when I stopped seeing Dr. Wright, I started getting more severe sinusitis. For 4 – 6 weeks I was faced with a tooth ache, eye ball throbbing constantly, and sinus pressure that was debilitating but only on the right side. While nasal cleanses worked well in the moment, I always felt that my right sinus passage never cleared and knew I would be getting another infection in a few days. It was horrible.
Cut to last week. I took a dance class and threw myself out of alignment. I knew just who to call for help. I explained that my right side from head to foot is giving me trouble but failed to mention my sinus issue. Dr. Wright made an adjustment and I started feeling much better.
As I was in the relaxation room the oddest thing happened, I felt my right sinus opened up. I could actually breathe through that side. My eye stopped throbbing. My sinuses started to drain on their own.
I had no clue that an adjustment could affect my sinus issues.
